Master's thesis Henri Tomasi, André Jolivet, Eugene Bozza and their
compositions for trumpet, are devoted to three important 20th century
musicians. The work in the first chapter deals with the development of the
french composition and trumpet school, at the beginning of this century. In
addition, is about each of the three personalities in each chapter. There is
always a CV with a focus on the contribution to the development of the
trumpet repertoire and the analysis of one of the author's compositions.

Germany and (versus) Germany. The relationships between the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR int he square made of Bonn - East Berlin - Prague - Moscow at the end of the Cold War

The content of this thesis are relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR at the end of the Cold War, specifically in the seven-year period between the beginning of the government of Helmut Kohl and the fall of the Berlin Wall. These relations are described in a wider dimension within a square made of Bonn - Berlin - Prague - Moscow; the basic intention of the work is to create a comprehensive analysis of all important links and transformations not only between the East and West Germany, but also among all actors in defined tetragon. Thesis-conclusions are to a large extent based on the long-term research in Czech and German archives; key documents were found in the archive of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the archive of the former State Security of the GDR. The term inter-German relations is reduced to the area of Deutschlandpolitik - negotiations at the highest level - and given the large scope of reciprocal contacts, they are limited also thematically, while two dimensions are primarily monitored - so called priority axis. The first is the field of economy. Its key importance is framed by two billion-loans granted with a guarantee of the Federal Government of the GDR at the beginning of analysed period, and a total paradigm shift in relations among Bonn - Berlin...

Residential tenancy agreement - Landlord's status and non-mandatory provisions of Czech residential tenancy law

In my thesis "Residential tenancy agreement - Landlord's status and non-mandatory provisions of Czech residential tenancy law" I explore specific institutes of Czech residential tenancy law. I deal with contractual freedom of the parties to arrange their own rights and obligations that may differ from those that are prescribed by the Czech civil code. I also put emphasis on the new legislation that will come into effect in 2014, which is going to substantially change legal relations between lessors and lessees. Starting with basic legal requirements for lease agreement I then describe rights and obligations of the parties that stem from it. At the end I go over legal tenancy agreement termination options. Through the comparison of the law as it is and its impact on real life I attain the aim of my thesis: to show what is problematic in the Czech residential tenancy law.

Fragments of the mosaic of the society of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia

This graduation thesis consider The Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia period in socalled political division Sedlčany and in example of this region try sketch large and plastic 398 painting of the society of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia. This painting is outline through the multiple-case study, or particular case studies, which objects are concrete social subjects, that lived in this period. These cases are not described only separately. In each of them are observed collective questions, which are compared and summarized at the close. These questions are: question of freedom of each social subject, predestination of his social position and his story in connection with belonging to proffesion, interest, ethnical and other typically and specifically social group, followed by question of universal and partial changes in this period, below continuousness and discontinuousness of the German occupation epoch with previous period. It is connected with the question of specifically living conditions of this epoch. Consequently are observed problems of resistance and collaboration, persecution (not only "Germans" but also "Czechs"), daily life in atmosphere of controlled war economy and ejection of the part of the so-called political division Sedlčany in consequence of foundation of SS military exercising...

Diploma thesis, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové 2008, 65 p. The screening of dry aerial parts and roots of some species of genus Eschscholtzia (Papaveraceae) (Eschscholzia pulchella, E. californica, E. oregana, E. glauca, E. lobbii) was carried out in term of the effect on erythrocyte AChE with the use of autobiographic method utilizing TLC (colour reaction of 1-naphtol and Fast Blue B). On the basis of this test the species Eschscholzia californica Cham. seemed to be the most inhibitory active. The primary extract was prepared by percolation of dry herb with roots by 95% EtOH (36.54 kg). The extracts of individual types of alkaloids were prepared from the primary extract by sequent procedure. In this diploma thesis only the extract A was partly processed. Some alkaloids were separated in the form of pseudo-cyanides from this extract. The rest of alkaloids from this extract was separated into bases which chlorides are soluble and insoluble in chloroform. Bachelor thesis Currently the most prominent trumpet artists is dedicated to the main trumpet personalities of the current musical scene across classical music, jazz and orchestral playing. Mainly deals with the biographies, existing achievements and current work of selected players. For each artist are also listed brands and types of trumpets, which they are playing. If it is possible, there are listed types of mouthpieces too. There are also mentioned representatives of old and young generation of trumpet players. Thesis is divided into four chapters. First chapter deals with personalities who make specially solo interpretation of classical music. Second chapter deals with famous jazz trumpet players. Next chapter of this thesis is dedicated to personalities who are famous classical and at the same time jazz players. In the last chapter there are mentioned famous orchestral players.
