The Influence of Prague Dialect on Speech of Students From Zlín Area

This bachelor 's thesis focuses on the influence which can Prague Common Czech language have on students from the Zlin area who are staying in Prague for longer period. The first part of the work deals with the theory, especially with the theme of language varieties and the differences between them. The second part of the work is the empiric part, which consists of interviews with young students from the Zlin area. The interviews are led in such a way that the respondents do not know what exactly the subject matter is. The second part of the interview aims at the speakers' language reflection. All the interviews are recorded and transcribed. All the information crucial for this work is included in the transcriptions. The results of the empiric part partly confirm some theses which were established at the outset of the work. For example, that social interaction plays a significant role in the question of adaptation to the Common Czech. Results cannot be viewed as unequivocal, the conditions under which the interviews were made should be taken into consideration. What is more, the specific nature of each speaker should be considered too. Knowledge of Idioms in Basic School Pupils

This thesis focuses on phraseology and its integration into the teaching of Czech language and literature in primary school. The aim is to present a detailed analysis of a research investigation focused on the knowledge of idioms among pupils of a selected primary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis, firstly, important concepts in the field of phraseology are defined - definition, characteristics and functions of idioms, their updating. Subsequently, it is observed how the phraseology curriculum is integrated into the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education and the School Educational Programme of the selected primary school. Furthermore, a detailed analysis of the phraseology curriculum in selected textbooks of Czech language and literature for primary schools is presented. This thesis presents previous research on the knowledge and understanding of phraseology and presents their results. The practical part of the thesis deals with a research investigation in which pupils of the second stage of the selected primary school and pupils of the fourth and fifth grades of the first stage of the same school took part. The Linguistic Analysis of Selected Podcasts

This bachelor thesis deals with a relatively new phenomenon of the journalistic genre - the podcast. The aim of the work is to determine its language specifics. In the theoretical part, the podcast, as a new genre, is introduced and specified. Related terms are defined in this part too. Furthermore, selected podcasts are introduced in this section. The practical part is central to the thesis. It is based on linguistic analysis of specific speeches. The analysis focuses mainly on linguistic variations, peculiarities and shortcomings. For the best possible clarity, it is divided into subchapters according to linguistic levels. After the pilot survey podcasts that can be classified as educational were selected for the bachelor's thesis. Despite their similarity, they are diverse. In addition to the analysis itself, the result of the thesis is an evaluation of typical features, placing in a theoretical framework and drawing a conclusion in which the results of the research are confronted with hypotheses. Specifics of Linguistic Aphasia: Case Study

This Master Thesis deals with a typology of aphasia (Broca's, Wernicke's, conductive, transcortical-motor and sensory) and also with various variables that affect the type of aphasia. The thesis also deals with linguistics specifics of aphasia symptoms (circulation, perseveration, semantic and phonemic paraphasias, agramatism). In a practical part of the thesis, the symptoms of aphasia are observed in particular aphasic patients while their speech has been recorded. The thesis is about exacting situations of life in life of individual in family system context. Particular theoretical bases are explained in the text with accent on phoenix of crisis together with its displays and consequences in different periods of life. There is in details analyzed dilemma of crisis of child, teenager, adult and crisis of family. In practical part there is characterized Institute St. Hedwig, where they are specialized in processes of change in families and their potential conflicts.
