Search for the Optimal Path in the Terrain
Váňa, Jan ; Janeček, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Simulation systems based on artificial intelligence often have to solve the problem of finding a way between two places for an object controlled by a computer. This article deals with a development of such a module for already existing simulation system, which is able to find the best way for any object if this is existent.
Detached house with project office
Váňa, Jan ; Kovářová, Hana (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a newly bulit family house with a design office. The building consists of two main parts. Both parts have its own entrance and are not interconnected. The first part of the building, a two storey family house, is designed for a family of four. The design office is a single-storey building intended for 6 employees and an owner of the building. The structure is based on strip foundations made of plain concrete. The walls and ceilings are made of the Heluz system. The perimeter walls are insulated with ETICS mineral wool insulation composite system. The building has a flat roof with an asphalt waterproofing system.
Hotel with a gym
Váňa, Jan ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is new stand-alone hotel with a catering service and a relaxation zone including a fitness room, a table tennis room, massages and a solarium. The individual functional parts are separated and can be operated independently of each other. The Building consists of three floors. The ground floor will serve to run a restaurant with a background and a for relaxation zone, the remaining two floors will be used to accommodate guests and the necessary facilities. The maximum capacity for the accommodation is 59 people and requires four employees to operate it. The restaurant is designed for 81 guests and a total of 7 employees. The relaxation part is for guests only and is not accessible to other people. The structure is based on strip foundations from plain concrete and reinforced concrete foundation footing. Peripheral vertical load-bearing structures of the first above-ground floor are designed from permanent formwork system, all others loadbearing walls will be walled-up from vertically perforated block laid on thin-film adhesive. The floor structures are designed as an assembly of prestressed hollow core slabs. Roofing of the building will be made as a flat vegetation roof.
Graphical Simulator of Shooting Tasks
Sabela, Otmar ; Váňa, Jan (referee) ; Stružka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis decribes a development of graphical simulator of shooting tasks. It manages the display of shooting range, evaluates shots and displays results of fire. Editor of shooting tasks is included. This simulator makes it possible to train shooters in much safer, cheaper and more space efficient manner. System analysis and design is made with UML language. The 3D setup is rendered by OpenGL, user interface is implemented with Qt framework. This application is written in programming language C++.
Recognition of Face Thermoscans
Váňa, Jan ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Images of human face are one of the most used biometric features in automatic identification. This article presents an approach which uses face images in thermal (infrared) spectrum for purpose of important face features (eyes position, head rotation) detection and identification.
Experiments with Thermoscans of Hands
Foltýn, Radek ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
This identification with fingerprints or palmprints is one of the biometric methods of man's identification. This thesis deals with two problems: The first one is the hand detection in thermoscans by means of outstanding contours search (palm edge, individual fingers). The second one is the depiction of useful data from thermoscans, i.e. those ones which are connected with the given hand (separation of interfering parts).
Core of the Multimodal Biometric System
Pokorný, Karel ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a design and realization of the core of multimodal biometric system. First part of the thesis sumarizes contemporary knowledge about biometric systems and about combination of their outputs. Second part introduces concept and implementation of multimodal biometric system, which uses weighted score combination and user-specific weights.
Tracking of Military Objects in a Videosignal
Hamada, Ondřej ; Váňa, Jan (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
First part of this thesis briefly describes the main problems of object tracking in video and methods to deal with them. Main attention is paid towards usage of these methods for target tracking in videos taken by both normal and thermal camera. It propose solution to this problem based on the kernel-based method which uses mean-shift algorhitm and on the template matching. Both tracking methods results are supervised and corrected by Kalman filter. Proposed solution is implemented using C++ with OpenCV library.
Information System Efectiveness Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Váňa, Jakub ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Klusák, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of the information system software of the EKOFILTR spol. s r.o. company. The aim of the thesis is to propose certain steps and adjustments that would make the system more efficient and generally more user-friendly. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is devoted to description of terms and procedures that form the basis of the analysis of information system. Analysis itself is carried out in the next section. Here, identified system deficiencies are described as well as processes which led to their detection. The last part is then devoted to solving these problems through specific proposals.
Liveness Finger Detection by LEDs with Different Wavelengths
Malý, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to study biometrics and focus on liveness detection. Design liveness detection for existing sensor with LEDs using different wavelength.
