Jednou z biometrických metod pro identifikace člověka je identifikace pomocí otisku prstu nebo dlaně. K tomu, abychom mohli tuto identifikaci provést, je potřeba ruku nejdříve detekovat. Tato práce se zabývá dvěma problémy, prvním z nich je detekce ruky v termosnímku za pomocí hledání výrazných kontur (hrany dlaně, jednotlivé prsty). Druhým je separování užitečných dat z termosnímku, tedy takových, které souvisí s danou rukou (odstranění rušivých okolních částí). This identification with fingerprints or palmprints is one of the biometric methods of man's identification. This thesis deals with two problems: The first one is the hand detection in thermoscans by means of outstanding contours search (palm edge, individual fingers). The second one is the depiction of useful data from thermoscans, i.e. those ones which are connected with the given hand (separation of interfering parts).
