History of the Chroustovice Manor

I focused on the general view of the manor in my thesis. Chroustovice wasn't an important manor. Due to this fact, it has never been written the work of a similar character. This thesis is personal to me because I have spent my life in Chroustovice. In the thesis I described historical, artistic, economical, social and ecclesial development of the manor. I described the changing of the owners of the manor. I tried to map trade with the surrounding villages and their belonging with the manor. I focused on the building of Chroustovice manorhouse, which was the centre of the manor, and it still dominates the village. I tried to collected the fate of the most prominent local natives. I tried to synthesize sources and literature. I enriched my thesis with rumors and stories that are still circulating in the region until today.
genius loci - places in the city

Theoretical studies of the spirit of place connected with a place in the city (especialy Prague). The study aims to find the substancionality of the spirit of Prague. The main attention is on reception, using of space and living in space of a city conected with an individual reflection. Source of the inspiration for study is ekological architecture and art works from 2nd. half of the 20th century, especially action art and instalation connected with places in an urban space and its reflection in a photography. Location and function in public space

This bachelor's thesis is about the urban public space. There are covered its different forms, utilization option and its history of formation. Also it is about significance of being public space which is composed of individual elements as architecture, transport, pleasure ground, practical elements and art. Artwork is focused on object in public space, which is in harmony with that place. The object of didactic part is about arousing students to empathy for that place and relationship with it.
Art and sport

Title: Art and sport Summary: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe and compare art and sport. The author wants to compare the moments in which they are similar, their progression or suppression. A movement is an inherent part of sport, which has become a great challenge for artists; it is remarkable how art deals with movement. Moreover, sport and recreation in the course of time are described here. Several chapters from the art history connected with sports have been chosen for this thesis; it starts with prehistoric ages and maps the art history until modern styles. The thesis is also concerned with the pedagogical use of teaching physical education and art. Starting with historical facts, this part of the thesis proceeds to the importance of these subjects and their use in schools nowadays. The real link between physical education and art is supported by a project for 12-year-old pupils of elementary schools, which deals with this subject. An inherent part of this thesis is the author's reflection describing the art project, author's feelings and reactions of the public to her art work.

Martina Dráždilová: Madonna and Pieta (Vesperbild). The modifications of its depictures in medieval art /Diploma thesis/ Prague 2011 − Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of art education, 179 pages . Enclosures: 6 original paintings on canvas, combination technology. CD with inspiratory educational project. Diploma thesis is focused on thematic antithesis Madonna and Pieta and the modifications of its depictures in medieval art. The intention of work is to present theoretical knowledges of art history in kontext with art education and to describe the limits od educational work with religious topics. The first part presents the concept of cultural christianity and its position in czech curiculum. The second part presents historical study focused on iconografy of Madonna and Pieta, and the modifications of Madonna and Pieta in medieval ithalian painting in 13th and 14th century. On the knowledges of theoretical study is based educational project for grammar school students. Vizual problems of this the project are tested in specific artistic work. Enclosure presents quantitative research of positions of kultural christianity between grammar school students. Organic Composition in 20th century abstract art, music and literature

The Diploma thesis Organic composition in 20th century abstract Art, Music and Literature aims to explain the gradual process of liberalization of expressive means in Arts, Music and Literature during the 20th century. It describes the picture's emancipation from the dependence on objective reality, particularly V. Kandinsky's way towards abstract expressionism. In Music it traces A. Schonberg's development of the free atonality, and the stream of consciousness technique of J. Joyce in literature. The thesis' second part will be dealing with various manifestations of the organic composition after WWII- action and informal painting in the USA and Europe with its qualitative change. A musical and literal paralel to the principal of organic order will also be briefly introduced on the example of E. Brown's and J. Cage's aleatoric music and the spontaneous writing of J. Kerouac. Selected artistic personalities will be put into socio-cultural context of their time. As a result there comes a complex picture of the organic composition development process, suitable to be used as a source of information for teachers. The didactical part of the thesis will be focused on the possibility of using the given topic in the educational environment.
