Project Design for the Software Development Using Project Management Methodology

The main object of this thesis is a design of the project with the utilization of project management principles in the chosen company. Company SynopsIS Technologies, a.s. is developing and selling a software solution for advocacy and law offices. The starting point of the entire process of designing is the strategic analysis of the current state of the company, analysis of the external environment and business field of the company. The main object is a designed project of the change, which will be used for project management in order to successfully reach set goals and minimize the risks of the project. A designed solution is using the support of Microsoft Project Professional 2016 software.

This master’s thesis describes life cycle phases management of the project Implementation of the project culture in the MoroSystems company from the perspective of a project manager. The thesis comprehensively describes the project from its inception, through planning, implementation up to handover of the outcomes to the customer, completion and evaluation. The thesis contains attachments which document meetings with the customer and project management artifacts created at different stages of the project.

The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Company

The thesis deals with application of project management methods in a company. The proposed project focuses on introduction of an interactive menu in the U Koníčka hotel and restaurant. The introductory part of the thesis contains the theoretical base of project management followed by analysis of the existing situation in the chosen business entity. Pre-project study with a proposal for effective elimination of found drawbacks is the output of the thesis.

This diploma thesis deals with a type of a project management of marketing activities in a company, where agile methods are used for development of its software product. The theoretical part describes specifications of traditional and agile methods, their comparison, a profound description of the Scrum method and the use of agile methods for marketing activities. In the following part, there is issued an analysis of the current situation in the company oriented to marketing department and possible solutions of discovered problems are suggested there.

Project Risk Management for Selected Company

This diploma thesis is dealing with risk management application to specific project of production implementation in confectionary business, analyzing possible risks and suggesting needed corrections. The analysis of the current situation was created to help to reach the main goal. There was analysis of micro environment and macro environment followed by SWOT analysis which shows strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Special methods of project management were used, RIPRAN method for risk management. Based on previous analysis there is suggestion of possible needed corrections for the project.

Utilization of Agile Scrum and Usage of Support Software Tools

Agile software development methodologies are very popular for their efficiency and flexibility. This thesis focuses on agile software development methodology called Scrum. Basic description and comparison of traditional and agile methodologies is mentioned at first. Attention is paid to methodology Scrum which is shown on an example of usage by a specific company. It is convenient to use some software tool for organization of Scrum methodology. Therefore, an overview of the most common tools and basic comparison of software tools for organizing this methodology is presented. Conclusion of this thesis is recommendation for improvements for the investigated team, based on issues which were identified.
