University of Agriculture in Prague. Architecture of University Buildings in 1960s

The architecture of university buildings in the '60s of the 20th century The agricultural university in Prague The bachelor thesis is aimed at premises of the Agricultural University in Prague-Suchdol. It thoroughly deals with a history of education in the agricultural branch and its anchoring to a university level, places where it was taught in the past and most significant personalities connected to the field. The following chapters are devoted to the contest for building up these extensive premises, which were the largest planned realization of the capital city in those times. The jurors rated overall 24 projects, that were given over and are introduced. These ratings are then presented together with ratings of the contest in a contemporary press and introduction of all the projects. Location of the premises and the victorious project by Jan Čejka are presented subsequently. I dealt there with the architecture, the technical description of the particular buildings and urbanistic solutions of the premises, also the newer realizations are presented. Architecture of Havířov in the Era of Socialist Realism

Short annotation Architecture of Havířov in the Era of Socialist Realism Building of Havířov was part of complex Nová Ostrava. Nová Ostrava was key project of first five-year plan. There was used insufficiently explained method of socialist-realism, which was from SSSR. Important for sympathy of formation Havířov is poltical and cultural development of ČSR after Second world war. Important is explanation of idea and platform of the new method and comparing of examples in architecture and art. Base of this work is a analysis of execution of a project method of socialist realism in Havířov. Firstly in this part is a history in ostrava's region, because this progress is connected with coal fields. Next are history of building Havířov, analysis and comparing of town planning, architecture and art. Connection of urbanism, architecture and art made synthesis for re-education of people. The best for rating of new town, which is built on green field, is survey of contemporary of inhabitants. Socialist realism's architecture in Havířov grew up at bad time, but this architecture is pleasant place for life, has mainly human dimension, public lawns and diversity. The Ecological Architecture and Housing

ECOLOGICAL ARCHITECTURE AND HOUSING This thesis deals with ecological architecture and housing. Work aims to clarify the principles and ecological construction. There is Indicated, Chat must respected, so that people can talk about ecological building. Furthermore, there is a development of ecological building, which illuminates the world situation and particular attention to the Czech environment. The historical part covers the period from the late 19th century to the prezent. In fact, since the late 19th century in the field of architecture emerging environmental trends unconsciously. Labour also stresses the first conscious ecological approaches in architecture, such as approaches for Buckminster Fuller and Paolo Soleri. And there is also highlighted as a conscious organic architecture as a response to energy crisis. The subchapters devoted to the Czech environment presents certain aspects of personality manifested as environmental performance itself Dušan Samo Jurkovič and great leader sof green-oriented theorical work, such as Karel Honzík, Ladislav Žák and Emanuel Hruška. This thesis is a reflection on the site-specific project Landscape metamorphosis that took place in the area of Tiché údolí (Quiet Valley) in Roztoky, Czech Republic which is just north of Prague. The paper focuses on a description and analysis of this collaborative art work in the landscape.
Family delicacies: Who is my daughter?

This bachelor thesis is reflecting on a site specific project called Family delicacies: Who is my daughter? ? an event bordering on home theater, documentary theater, and performance art based on a story of two families that became merged through a birth of a baby. It was staged in the author´s apartment. However, the project also included an attempt to transfer this event from a private apartment to the theater space. The work includes a description of the event itself, influences and examples of related similar projects from the contemporary art scene. The conclusion reflects on the importance and benefits of the project from the point of view of the author ? performer and her audience.
