Chip conveyor
Lukeš, Petr ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the construction of a chip conveyor. The construction will be based on the information resulting from the conducted research. The thesis describes the importance of chip management in current production processes. During the research, the advantages and disadvantages of individual design solutions were evaluated. The portfolio was compared in the overview of manufacturers. After choosing the machining center and the machined material, a suitable type of conveyor was chosen. Finally, individual structural elements were selected and described. After performing the functional calculations, the chip conveyor was constructed. The output of the work is an assembly drawing and drawings of important structural parts.
Topology optimization of frame
Kartaš, David ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of topological optimization of machine components, specifically frame optimization. The first part describes the different methods and techniques of topological optimization. The second part contains the actual solution of topological optimization on a selected frame. In conclusion, the results of this work are summarized and evaluated, and finally compared with the baseline frame.

The work is focused on the design of the lifting device of a special gantry crane for handling ships up to 50 tons. Concretly for the structural design of the lifting device, its functional calculation, strength control of the crane traverse and partial drawing documentation.
Portal crane 40 t
Vrzala, Vojtěch ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the structural design of a rail gantry crane, a functional computational lifting device, strength control of the crane's supporting structure and partial drawing documentation. The work includes classification of the crane, calculations of loads and coefficients, design and strength calculations of the structure and calculation of the lifting device.
Belt conveyor of construction waste
Kousal, Marek ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a belt conveyor for recycled construction material with a conveying capacity of 43,000 kgh, an axial distance of 29 m, and a height difference of 5.8 m. The main area of interest is the construction and functional design of belt conveyors, whose main components include the supporting structure, conveyor belt, drive drum, drive station, roller table, and tensioning device. The thesis also examines various types of recycled construction material, including brick, concrete, asphalt, and mixed material. The work includes a functional calculation of the conveyor, which was carried out according to the standard ČSN ISO 5048. The final section focuses on the design solutions of the conveyor and a survey of manufacturers of similar equipment. The proposed belt conveyor meets all specified parameters with a calculated conveying capacity of 99,720 kgh. This work provides a comprehensive overview of the construction and function of belt conveyors for recycled construction material. The thesis includes drawing documentation, which contains an assembly drawing of the belt conveyor, welding of frame parts, and chute design.
Belt conveyor of crushed stone for concrete mix
Jílek, Petr ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and calculate the construction of a belt conveyor for conveying crushed stone for concrete mix. The conveyor is dimensioned and designed for a conveying height of 3.2 metres, an axial distance of 24 metres and a conveying capacity of 52 000 kilograms per hour. The calculation part is carried out according to ISO 5048. Furthermore, the selection and design of the basic elements such as the tensioning device and the drive are included in the work. Various manufacturers of belt conveyors are mentioned in the research. The drawings for this thesis can be found in the appendix.
Frame of portal crane
Šesták, Jiří ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The thesis deals with the structural design of a gantry crane for ship handling. The frame consists of beams which are connected by plate connections and flanges. The girders are of welded box section. The material chosen was S460N steel. The design was based on a combination of loads, which were determined using the loading forces and their respective dynamic coefficients that can act on the frame. The frame design was verified using the finite element method in MSC Apex software. The work also includes a theoretical calculation of the power required to drive the whole crane. A partial drawing documentation is prepared for the proposed structure.
Frame of the elevator cabin
Řehulka, Filip ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of the elevator frame, its strength calculation and functional calculation of the elevator system with a load capacity of 600 kg. It was necessary to determine the use of the elevator, the number of people carried and the type of drive that use elevator belts instead of ropes. The lift is designed for 6 people and installed in a four-storey residential building with traction drive with a 2:1 roping and a rated speed of 1 m·s-1. The frame structure was modelled in Autodesk Inventor, using C and square sections. Safety calculations were performed according to ČSN EN 81-20 and ČSN EN 81-50.
Long-distance belt transport
Řepa, Vojtěch ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with long-distance belt transport, the principles of which are explained in the first chapter of the thesis. In the following chapter, the individual components of the belt conveyor are described in detail. The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the conceptual design according to the specified parameters in accordance with ČSN ISO 5048 and the professional literature on the construction of belt conveyors. To verify the correctness of the concept, the strength of the selected conveyor belt is checked. A 3D visualization and drawing documentation of the conceptual design is created for the proposed concept.
Using optimization methods to design machine parts
Kubrický, Daniel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes using structural optimization methods to design machine parts. In the first part of the thesis, a description of the current state of knowledge of the optimization process was made together with its theoretical background. In the second part of the thesis, a static analysis and topology optimization or Generative design was developed using the example of a bell crank in six commercial software. In the third part, the resulting models of each software were compared with each other, and the results were compared using the von Mises maximum stress criterion and the overall model deformation. Finally, this work was concluded with an evaluation of the use of the structural optimization software.
