Modelling the movement of mobile stations in the OPNET Modeler simulation environment
Kuběna, Pavel ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this master´s thesis is a practical simulation of wireless mobile networks. For this purpose, the model simulating urban enviroment in which mobile nodes move according to desgined trajectories was created. The parameters of transmitted signal and impact of obstacles in the way of propagation were examined by the simulation. Number of obstacles and type of material of given obstacle was taken into consideration.
Methodology of testing IP Multimedia Subsystem
Karlík, Martin ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
Karlík, Martin Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. Methodology for testing IP Multimedia Subsystem The aim of this work is the study, analysis and description of the IMS network architecture mainly IMS core layer and application layer, i.e roles and cooperation among elements of P-CSCF, S-CSCF, I-CSCF, BGCF, MGCF, HSS, SLF, application servers and end terminals. Analysis of presence services , setup of headers of SIP messages during makeing service provideing informations about accessibility of clients and iFC criteria.Furthet project is focused on the implementation of the IMS network based on the Open Source SIP Server Kamalio, Open Source IMS Core System FhoSS, creation tests scenarios for presence services and test-bed for IMS.
Network services in IMS
Mikulec, Matěj ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on services that can be used in the architecture IP Multimedia Subsytem. The first chapter describes the main entities in the IMS architecture. The second chapter is focused on services - Presence, Instant Messaging, Push to Talk over Cellular and IPTV. For each service is described architecture and basic signaling. The third chapter describes the various protocols used in IMS, protocol SIP is described in more details. The fourth chapter contains a description of the application environment SDS Ericsson in which was implemented practical part. The fifth and final chapter deals with the IPTV service in SDS and SIP communications with IMS core. Traffic reports are analyzed in each case the client communication with IMS core with integrated tracking of messages passing through the CSCF, HSS and DNS in program SDS. Important findings of the work are summarized in the conclusion.
Problem diagnostics by expert system
Mertlík, Tomáš ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
This paper refers to expert systems. Expert system is a computer program dedicated to giving an expert advice, decisions or recommending the best solution in a particular situation. This paper mentions four types of expert system which are commonly used in practice. Basic, additional and complementary components of expert systems are described. The practical part of this paper refers to the diagnostic problem of computer start based on expert system implemented in JAVA programming language and ECLIPSE IDE.
Acquisition of communication statistical data from network infrastructure devices
Gargulák, Lukáš ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes theory that is needed for application development for acquisition of communication statistical data from network infrastructure devices. Aplication is called SDSKSI. The project compares protocols suitable for this purpose. Finally SNMP protocol was chosen because it is the most common in network devices. SNMP is described in detail. Each SNMP operation has its own practical demonstration. In the project there is also described MIB database and data types of MIB objects. Application is able to create network topology. Then administrator of network can imagine how the network looks like. For each device that support SNMP protocol are periodically collected and stored statistical data which can be exported to the file. For application development were chosen programming languages according to several criteria. Content of the laboratory exercise is presented. At the end of the project there are some system solutions for collecting statistical data. Diploma thesis contents two attachments. The first is containing the full text of laboratory task. The second is DVD disc. Disc is containing ready to boot aplication SDSKSI.
Management of terminal nodes of data networks
Knol, Radek ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to analyze different possibilities of administration of external nodes of data networks. On the basis of this thesis an application for the operating system Microsoft Windows has been created which is intended to enable and facilitate the administration and configuration of individual network components, such as computers, servers, network switches, hubs, IP phones, IP cameras and other devices. This application can work with groups of devices, it can sort them according to set point criteria, and it can apply different functions to the individual components or to the whole target group. This application provides all essential operations for the administration of the network and of the individual components in a well-arranged interface, including synchronization rules for data updates on personal computers. The availability of different functions and access to the individual groups of devices can be defined by means of user rights. Another part of this thesis is a proposal of a system for automatic updates of the operating systems MS Windows and other programs of the company Microsoft.

Surveillance system for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem
Švec, Michal ; Doležel, Radek (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
The master’s thesis describes IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) in terms of IMS core ele- ments (functional description, different implementation, signaling etc.) Communication protocols SIP and DIAMETER, together with SNMP protocol, which is used for collecting data are briefly described in this thesis.Thesis is also describing various IMS projects to- gether with Open IMS project, for whom was this surveillance system designed. Next part deals with architecture design of surveillance system along with management options implemented in surveillance system for users and administrators. The main part of master’s thesis deals with the description of the surveillance system for the experimental school Open IMS network and describes the remote configuration of core elements and monitoring of network traffic, together with the monitoring servers performance. The most of the data in the designed surveillance system are processed into graphs, which are regularly updated. The final part of master’s thesis describes the configuration and implementation of monitoring tools MRTG and NfSen that were used in created web based surveillance system.
Application for the reservation of tickets in the IMS
Otoupalík, Pavel ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals description of the IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) and shows the possibility for design applications that using services this system. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on a detailed description of the IMS architecture, its key components and the SIP protocol that is main signaling protocol in the IMS. The practical part of the work describes the design, implementation and test of the system for reservation of tickets to cinema in the IMS. The project was created as client-server application in the development studio SDS Ericsson 4.1 FD1 with built-in IMS simulator. The client application is designed for mobile devices with support of the J2ME platform. The server part of the system is realized as SIP Servlet with access to the MySQL database. In the database are saves records about registered users, offered tickets and successful reservation. For easy work over MySQL database of the system for reservation of tickets was created the application for its administration in the Java programming language (Java SE 6). With the assistance of this application, the operators of system can add and erase the records about films, time projection and disburse tickets on the basis of knowledge of reservation ID. In the end of the work is realized SIP signaling analysis of the client registration to IMS and communication between the client application and the SIP Servlet.
