Benchmarking of swarm optimization algorithms
Mittaš, Eduard ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with benchmarking of swarm optimization algorithms. First part handles optimization problem and it’s meaning in testing of algorithm’s performances. Next chapter describes the very benchmarking itself, it’s tools and software platforms. Afterwards individual algorithms, which were selected for implementation are described. Following this part is a program realization of solution, selected algorithms, selected testing functions and the data, which is exported by the program. The last chapter deals with results of respective performance tests, in which algorithms solved given testing problems. Eventually these results are evaluated and from them an outcome of efficiency and performance of algorithms is formed.
Robotic snake locomotion
Tran, Duc Viet ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on creation of a simulation model of a snake-like robot, which is then tested on a demonstration task. First part of the thesis is dedicated to a brief analysis of basic snake locomotion and aplication of acquired knowledge in bionics. After that follows practical part, in which a snake-like robot koncept is developed and the models are then subjected to simple tests in simulation software. Final part of the thesis deals with processing of knowledge and acquired values, from which conclusions are then made.
Accuracy of measurement in the context of history
Jemelíková, Kristýna ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with developments in measurement accuracy. First part is dedicated to developments in accuracy throughout history: from the ancient times, through historical error estimation methods and today's error and uncertainty evaluation methods. Second part focuses on developments in measurement and its accuracy of a chosen physical quantity – temperature.
Scheduling for 3D printers
Lenhart, Vojtěch ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the problem of production planning in the context of 3D printing. It analyzes the current possibilities of software for scheduling for 3D printers and focuses on other restrictive production conditions such as entering production on a printer, refilling material or time to remove the finished product from the printing area. The next part of the work deals with the development of a console application in C # for scheduling for 3D printers. It describes the methods that were used to design the software and their problems in terms of time and computational complexity. The results of all methods are properly compared and evaluated.
Water saving
Dzoba, Matúš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the economic consequences of water savings, technical implementation of the energy saving systems and production of an educative model. Accordingly, the impact of water saving on the environment is mentioned, too. Subsequently, the theoretical bases of a logical operating needed for a realization of the model are mentioned as well. The following chapter describes the parts of the environment LOGO! Soft Comfort that are used for the development of the program. In the final part, a detailed procedure of the design of the operating program is drawn up.
Design of a quadcopter model
Fiala, Jan ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation and implementation of a quadcopter model. The first part summarizes the basic division of unmanned systems and the rules of legislation limiting their operation. Subsequently, the problematics of motion dynamic is discussed. The practical part first describes the selection of components used, their connection, and the creation of the quadcopter frame. The implemented control system and calibration are also described. In the final part, a flight test, price analysis, and rating in comparison with the competitive product are included. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the work, possible improvements, and reflections on the future use of the model.
Cutting Stock Problem
Horniak, Lukáš ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
The Cutting stock problem is one of the major optimization problems that affects a wide variety of industrial fields where material is processed or manufactured. At the beginning the basics of linear and integer programming are briefly presented, as well as a description of the typological division of cutting and packaging problems according to five criteria, which specify the definition of the cutting stock problem. From a wide range of approaches and algorithms, a few are selected, which are described. Subsequently, two approaches are selected to solving one-dimensional and 1.5-dimensional.
Economical housing
Marek, Vojtěch ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the creation of an economical housing system using a compact programmable controller Siemens LOGO!. The work includes a description of logic control and approach to the problem of programmable logic controllers. The practical part deals with a simplified design of a housing unit using control programs and the actual implementation of the house model. The software LOGO! Soft Comfort was used for the actual implementation of the program. Autodesk Inventor software was used for creating of the parts needed for the model. The work is supplemented by photographs of the model itself and control programs.
Algebraic criteria for stability of linear systems
Gáčová, Veronika ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with stability of linear systems and its assessment using especially algebraic criteria. The theoretical part is dedicated to description of control system, meaning of differential equations in the theory of transfer function and description of stability criteria. The main goal of the thesis is to compare difficulty of use of algebraic and frequency stability criteria on a specific example. In addition to this approach, we will be interested in stability of solution of corresponding homogenous differential equation too. Conclusions will be demonstrated using Matlab software.
