Parking house

The subject of this thesis is to design the main supporting structure of the parking house in the city of Olomouc. The object has 7 storeys and rectangural dimensions are 57,2m x 37,0m. The height of the structure is 19,2m. The hall is designed by cylindrical roof. Processed design option is a composite steel-concrete floor slab.
Mid-Span Bridge Steel Structure

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the load-bearing composite steel and concrete structure of the road bridge. The structure span a railway line and a watercourse in the urban area of the district town of Blansko. The centre to centre spacing of the bridge supports is 99.8 m. The construction of the bridge is solved in three variants with the selection of the most suitable variant. Valid Czech technical standards and technical regulations for designing bridges were observed during the design and calculations.
Steel Structure of Industrial Building

The diploma thesis deal with design of a technological building in Ostrava serving for the sorting of slag to enagle its sequential use. Geometry of the structure was customized to technological requests. Static system was considered in two versions – joint connections with vertical bracing and omni-directional frame. For detail processing was chosen the joint one, besause it showed up as more advantageous. Static calculation was performed by Scia Engineer 14 software, then some typical connections and drawings were manually designed.
Railway Bridge across Local Road

The thesis deals with the variant design of the steel structure of single-track railway bridge on the line Tišnov – Nové Město na Moravě. The task is bridging the local road by a bridge structure with one field. Length of the bridge is 40 m.
Road and tram bridge

The subject of this Diploma Thesis is to develop different alternatives of the road and tram bridge. It is a river bridge with the length of 52,5 m. There are compared two proposals, while in the first proposal it is an arch bridge with the tension bars. The second proposal which is also finalized as the winning proposal is the truss structure. Both proposals have composite deck. The structure is designed from steel S355 and concrete C35/45. The load bearing structure is designed in accordance with applicable technical standards.
Steel Structure of the Technology Building

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a steel technological structure in the locality of Štětí. The struture is used for the paper production technology. The geometry of the structure was customized to technological requests. The statistic system was considered in two versions – joint connections and frame – joint connections. The frame – joint connections system was chosen for detail processing. The steel structure was calculated by Scia Engineer 19 software. The connections were calculated by Idea statica software. The thesis is processed according to valid standars of ČSN EN.
Pedestrian Footbridge

The subject of this student work is the design of a load-bearing steel structure of a footbridge for pedestrians. The footbridge connects two buildings in the locality of Brno - Bohunice. It includes the bridging of a road, car park and entrances of the both buildings. The construction of the footbridge is solved in three variants with the best variant selected.
Steel Structure of the Building

The Master’s thesis concerns a design of load bearing multi-storey steel construction of scientific institution in Brno. This thesis contains three different solutions of a draft proposal and for the elected solution is processed technical report, structural analysis, material list and drawings.
Sports Field Roofing Structure

The design and the static estimation of the load-bearing steel structure of tribune roofing of the football stadium are the subject of this thesis. The football stadium is located in Brno. The main bearing system consists of 16 radially arranged truss girders with the console lining of 39,9 m. Column “trees” always support a pair of truss girders. The plan dimensions of the structure are 63,2 m x 155,0 m. The roof height above the ground level is 52,0 m. There were two variant of analysis elaborated. The design is made in accordance with the valid ČSN EN standards.
Roof over Railway Station

The thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the roof of the train station. This structure is located in Brno. The plan shape of the structure is rectangular. In the transverse direction, the structure is designed as an arch of 150 m length and the distance of transverse ties is 20 m. At the highest point, the rise of the arch is 30 m. In the longitudinal direction, the structure is 200 m long. In this paper, three variants of the structure are compared.
