Estimating the quadratic almost ideal demand system and the effects of population ageing in the Czech Republic
Bílý, Michael ; Janský, Petr (advisor) ; Hájek, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to estimate the Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System of non-durable goods on the Czech Republic Household Budget Survey data in two distinct models. Respective income, own and cross price elasticities are calculated and we interpret the resulting income, price and demographic characteristics of the household demand. The first model is used to estimate the effects of the 2015 Value Added Tax reform in the Czech Republic, which introduced 10% reduced rate on medication and books. We estimate how much the reform changes the consumption behaviour of households, the biggest changes are in the commodities of clothing, books, medications and household goods. The households are estimated to spend 1,049 billion CZK more on non-durable goods and the VAT revenue is estimated to decrease by 818 million CZK. The second model is used to predict the effects of the population ageing on the household demand. We do this in four scenarios to separate effects of the household composition change and to analyse the composed effects of increasing wealth and redistribution among the working and retired households. The population ageing has the highest impact on the commodities of food, fuel and light, transport and leisure services. The shift in composition affects the consumption mostly in the same...

Pinkava, Ondřej ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title of work: White water slalom - technic of paddling on C1 Objective master lever The aim of this thesis is to create a script, shoot, prepare to manufacture and produce instructional a film that showed the current concept of driving technique in the world's best singlkanoistů Canoe slalom. The film should serve as a methodical material not only for coaches and water slalom racers, but also for the general boating public. Methods The work is a combination of participantního and neparticipantního observation. Observations conducted in dynamic system, where the relationship between input and output (between stimuli and responses) It depends not only on input, but also on internal assumptions racers. At the same stimulus, then All competitors may react differently, depending on what state they are internal. results In sports event taking place under constantly changing conditions is required rehearse several ways of passes given combinations goals. There is no precise instructions addressing the individual goal situations. Racer based on the lessons Information then selects the best and fastest way of passage. The film shows the current conception techniques and tactics for single canoes. Keywords Singlcanoe and upstream gates, floods, displaced and drive-through gates, hinge, wide shot, tilt. Relationship between selected specific and general indicators of strenght in white water slalom competitors in C1 men category
Říha, Martin ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Baláš, Jiří (referee)
Title: Relationship between selected specific and general indicators of strength in water slalom competitors in category C1 Objectives: The aim of the study was to find out the relationship between the maximum strength tests at the gym and the explosive force test when paddling on flat water. Another aim of the thesis was to compare the measurement with results in selection races to Czech national team 2018. Methods: The test battery for general force tests included the bench press test, the attachment on the bench, the one arm attachment on the bench and the one arm pull up on the bar. To test the explosive force on a flat water we used a three-axis piezoelectric load cell 9137. Dewesoft Sirirus and Dewesoft, Dewetron, were used to diagnose the course of force. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the measurements. The degree of dependence was determined by the correlation coefficient value. Results: A strong dependence rate (r = ≥ 0.7) was demonstrated in the water test and the one arm attachment on the bench. There was no evidence of a strong degree of dependence on bench - press exercises (r = 0,63), the attachment on the bench (r = 0,58)and the one arm pull up on the bar (r = 0,04). The paddlers who achieved the best results in specific and general strength...
Witness in Criminal Proceedings
Bílý, Martin ; Vokoun, Rudolf (advisor) ; Tlapák Navrátilová, Jana (referee)
Witness in Criminal Proceedings The aim of this thesis is to provide a compact overview of the rights and duties related to a witness, which affect his position in criminal proceedings. The witness is considered as a one of the fundamental institutions of criminal law. The witness's testimony with its irreplaceable role also ranks among the most important evidence provided by criminal proceedings. The witness in principle can be found in all stages of on-going criminal proceedings, whereas the circle of persons, which may be witnesses, is not a priori restricted. The witness's role is in particular very significant in preparatory stage of criminal proceedings as without his testimony there is often impossible to identify the perpetrator of a committed crime. He is also important in such a trial, where the court based on his testimony is able to decide, whether an accused is in truth guilty, i.e. decide on his punishment, or on acquittal. The thesis itself is divided into six chapters, which are further divided. The first chapter deals with the definition of a witness and the conditions of being legally qualified to perform as a witness and finally with the necessity of distinguishing a witness from other persons being involved in criminal proceedings. The second chapter is devoted to all duties...
Relation between chosen indicators of Wingate test and performance of racers in category K1 junior women slalom
Hapák, Michal ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Topic: Relation between chosen indicators of Wingate test and performance of racers in category K1 junior women slalom. Aim: Determination of values of 30-s Wingate test function indicators in women water slalom (junior cathegory). Assessment of the relation between selected indicators and the performance in the nomination races, comparison of the indicators with the overall rankings in the nomination races. Methods: 30-s all out Wingate test on arm lever ergometer in UK FTVS laboratory. Usage of multidimensional statistical methods for correlation of Wingate test's chosen indicators with results of junior nomination races. Comparison of overall ranking in nomination races with total rates of functional indicators. Results: Results show, that rates of chosen functional parameters of Wingate test seem to be a suitable indicator of anaerobic endurance in category K1. High relation between performance and rates of chosen functional parameters was not reliably proved. Core words: Wingate test, functional indicators, anaerobic endurance, factors, performance, K1 junior women, correlation.
