The development of composites based on alkali-activated matrices resistant to extreme temperatures
Ševčík, Marek ; Šácha, Libor (referee) ; Dufka, Amos (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the development of composites from alkali activated materials (AAM) and their resistance to extreme temperatures. The theoretical part describes alkaline activation and precursors for the production of AAM. Furthermore, the problem of the effect of extreme temperatures on these materials is described. In the experimental part, the optimal silicate modulus with respect to the properties of AAM was gradually determined, and the effect of extreme temperatures on the AAM matrix was verified. In the next stage, the effect of the filler with respect to the behavior at extreme temperatures was tested and then the final formulation was optimized.
Marketing Strategy Proposal
Ševčík, Marek ; Schüller, David (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a new marketing strategy for the Brno gym Velký Průvan. Based on theoretical knowledge, an analysis of the current state and the state of competition is prepared, which is the basis of the design part, which focuses on the modification of the current product due to the global pandemic, new PPC advertising and marketing on social networks. These changes should increase the competitiveness and, ultimately, the gym's sales.
Rheological behaviour of alkali-activated aluminosilicates
Ševčík, Marek ; Vyšvařil, Martin (referee) ; Rovnaník, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on rheological properties of alkali activated materials, the main focus is on rheological behavior of geopolymers. The theoretical part describes the most commonly used materials for the preparation of geopolymers. Further, described rheology in general and rheological properties are described, types of behavior of substances and differences between rheological properties of different types of aluminosilicates are explained. In the experimental part, mechanical properties of geopolymer pastes based on metakaolin and fly ash with different silicate moduli of alkaline activator – water glass were investigated. For these materials, rheometric measurements and rheological behavior were also performed.
The Application of Process Management in the Production Enterprise
Ševčík, Marek ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The abstrakt of bachelor thesis „The Application of Process Management in the Production Enterprise“ is presenting design change from functional form of management to process one. From analysis results of chosen product will be formed a design. On the base of this design, process management will be implemented into enterprise management. Results of design will be measured and examined the gains for the whole company.
Financing of Developers' Projects
Ševčík, Marek ; Soukupová, Ivona (referee) ; Ptáček, Roman (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic Financing of developers´ projects. The theoretical part is focused on the explanation of development financing, a description of a development project itselves and the financial methods for measuring the success of the project. The analytical part describes the processing of a real project focusing on financing methods and calculation of profit variants. The last section shows possible alternatives to project financing. Based on the success rate measurement of each variant, it provides recommendations for a suitable choice of developer financing.

Methodology of real estate market segmentation for the valuation process
Ševčík, Marek ; Kledus, Robert (referee) ; Cupal, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methods of the real estate market segmentation in relation to the valuation process. Following the application part, which is an analysis of the real estate market in the city of Brno. On its basis procedures, that can help the expert with dividing real estate market into individual segments, are described. And also gives recommendations on how to deal with the information obtained.
The impact of the financial crisis on the U.S. bond market
Ševčík, Marek ; Pavlík, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Čajka, Radek (referee)
The thesis analyses the impact of the financial crises on the U.S. bond market. Theoretical part deals with the factors affecting the value of bonds and deals with the processes in the american bond market. The main goal of the practical part is to analyse the U.S. bond market after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, analyse changes in the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve and changes in yields of the government obligations, selected derivatives and assets. Primarily, there will be compared annual return on government bonds to annual return on stock in the period of the financial crisis.
