Janečková, Terezie ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: The Level of Postural Maturation of Children in Athletic-preparatory Schools Author: Terezie Janečková Objective: There are more and more athletic-preparatory schools in athletic units and clubs nowadays. Athletic-preparatory school means a group of five or six-year-old children with one or two training lessons per week. Czech athletic association wants to spread an interest in athletics among parents and their children, to find athletic talents as soon as possible and develop them by this way. The recruitment of children at this age already exists in many sports, but it is new in athletics in the Czech Republic. But that does not go for everyone that this sport training at preschool age is the appropriate and healthy way for a child motor development. I would like to evaluate the influence of athletic-preparatory schools on the child motor development. Due to the fact that there are no tests to apply for this purpose in literaure, we have to compose our own set of tests, which are used in physiotherapy. The theoretic part of the work is a bibliographic search of accessible information about postural maturation and motor development. The experimental part of the work is an evaluation of the level of postural maturation of children in athletic-preparatory schools before their start of regular...
Sprinter's training
Ptáčníková, Hana ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Sprinter's training Objectives: Determine the dynamics of performance and assess training load in the stage of specialized training. Try to find out why the training load contributed to the expected growth performance in the periods 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 and that the training load was consistent with model values. Methods: In the thesis I used the method of content analysis, comparative method, a method of self-reflection, self-analysis and objectification. Results: In performance analysis, we found out that the highest efficiency in running the 100m was achieved in 2012 and running the 200 m in 2009. Values of training load comparing to model values are average or below average, only the speed endurance values were above average. The main reason for the decline in performance in 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 were health problems as a result of lack of regeneration and psychological problems arising from unfulfilled performance aspirations. Thema works: Evaluation of running in floorball category U10 Student: Bc. Martina Vítková Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Aims: Monitoring the running technique of school age children, who plays floorball and improve their technique in a short-time program. Methodology: In this thesis I evaluated the running technique of the selected group of children playing floorball in TJ Tatran Stresovice in order to identify different running techniques. To assist this evaluation I used photographs focussing on certain areas of the body (see Results section). Results: From the front view the feet are most commontly found in the feet out position, with the most common arm movement being across the front of the body. From the side view most commontly seen is arm movement from the shoulder joint, upright posture, running on the toes. The tests showed that the children's running technique is not established as the second test showed different mistakes to those occurring in the first test. Key words: the running technique, physical literacy, floorball and deviation from the running technique.

To compare the results of the interrogation method was also evaluated using the reflection of the author as regular participants in cross-country races. Results: The results of this thesis show a rise in the number of runners in the Czech Republic, which also corresponds to the global phenomenon that was captured in the case of selected...
Individual development of performances of contemporary Czech decathletes
Čech, Vojtěch ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Individual development of performances of contemporary Czech decathletes Objective: The main objective of this work is to analyse the performance development of the current Czech decathletes and to compare them with the performance of the decathletes whose records exceeded the 9000 mark. After subsequent evaluation, create a possible prediction of their performance for the next two to three years. Methods: In my bachelor thesis, I used data analysis, comparative method and prediction. The information received was tabulated for a better overview. Results: In this work, I found that decathletes achieve their best performances between 26-27. year. The highest-scoring event is the 110m hurdles. Conversely, the lowest-scoring event is the 1500m. Comparing the points structure of performances in the decathlon, the contemporary Czech decathlons competing in the men's category are the closest to the world leaders in points for performances in the throwing disciplines. They most lag far behind in jumping disciplines Key Words: athletics, decathlon, performances, development
The Effect of Menstruation on Athletics Women's Performance
Petržilková, Tereza ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Vostatková, Pavlína (referee)
Title: The impact of the menstrual cycle on the performance of the top track and field athletes Objectives: On the base of the survey data determine how and to what extent the menstrual cycle affects the performance of athletes from the national team of the Czech Republic. Methods: The main research method of this work is a non-standardized anonymous questionnaire. Results: According to the results, performance is most often impaired on the first day of menstruation. Performance is generally worse in 40% during menstruation, in 40% is the same and in 20% is better. The female athletes have their best performance during the days following the end of the menses and the first week after the menses. Most female athletes (78%) suffer from premenstrual syndrome, which has significant symptoms and these can subsequently affect the training process. Cases of amenorrhea associated with high training doses were identified in the respondents. Problems with the menstrual cycle most occur sprinters, endurance athletes and multi-combatants. Difficulties with the menstrual cycle (MC) are most commonly manifested by irregular menstruation and an unnaturally painful course of menstruation. 94% of female athletes do not use any contraception. Only 3% of respondents regularly adjust the training process to their...
Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech runners
Franková, Aneta ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech male and female runners Aims: The main goal of the work is to evaluate the running technique of elite Czech male and female runners on middle tracks and intra-individual variability of the running style. Methods of work: Qualitative kinematic analysis of motion and quantitative cinematographic examination method of video recording of running technique were used to create this work. The records were further processed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Kinovea and Microsoft Excel. Results: The individual probands of the research group fulfill a substantial part of the model running technique recommended by the literature such as the active forefoot strike, the duration of individual phases, or the correct position of the head, torso, and extended reflex limb in the propulsion phase. So, we can say that Czech runners are technically capable. However, at the same time we observe a different individual concept of running technique for each proband, such as lumbar hyperlordosis, retroflection of torso, head tilt or the extent of arm work. Key words: biomechanics of motion, kinematic analysis, running technique, economics of motion

Pavlů, Jiří ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of red blood count and biochemical parameters in elite runners - a case study Aims: The main goal of this work is to determine the dynamics of biochemical parameters and red blood count in relation to the individual phases of year training cycle in two elite runners on medium and long distances. The second goal is to examine the data with the intention of discovering the character of the trend of individual parameters in terms of four seasonal testing for each of the probands. Methods of work: he method of content analysis of record sheets related to red blood count (RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW) and biochemical parameters (iron, transferrin, ferritin, iron saturation of transferrin) was used to develop the work. These sheets were provided to me by the coach of both probands. The provided data were recorded in tables which were the basis for the graphs in the final part of the work. The graphs were used to monitor the fluctuation of the values of individual parameters with respect to the RTC of each season, and possible mutual relations in the variability of these parameters were sought. The long-term trend was also examined in terms of the dynamics of the parameters. Results: The measured values of individual parameters of the athletes studied by me are in the range of...
