Role of nanny in family and her status in contemporary society

This work is theoretical-and-research in its essence, with the purpose of providing the reader with a complex view of the au-pair or nanny issues in the Czech Republic. It would like to call attention to the issues not dealt with in a complex, clear and complete manner in the Czech legislation and makes an attempt to present a solution by professionalizing this occupation. The first half of the theoretical part deals with the noninstitutional care for children in two forms - with the care for children provided by a babysitter or nanny in her own home and by an au-pair in the family of the child. It describes selected forms of these services in the EU countries (Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain) and then covers the conditions of providing the same services on the territory of the Czech Republic and deals with the work of the agencies providing and arranging the services of the babysitters, nannies and au-pairs. The second half of the theoretical part of the work explores the individual areas describing the needs, motivations and reasons of the families searching for and using the services of an au-pair/nanny. Formation of children's salue orientations of older pupilage

The purpose of the thesis of the author Blanka Gubánová titled Formation of Children's Value Orientations of Older Pupilage is to deal with values, value orientations and value systems which are formed in the process of the human development. There are many factors to be related to the adoption of individual's values which are the part of sociocultural environment where the individual lives. The relation between them is therefore the object of the discussion in the first part (chapter 1 - 5). The issue of the values, value orientations and value systems are discussed from different perspectives. In the sixth and following the seventh chapters we analysed the developmental periods to show the gradual human maturation, self-evaluation, moral development which is reflected in the formation of value systems and orientations. The special attention is paid to adolescents.

Possibilities usage base - cognitive procedures in cognitive and personality expansion scholar

This diploma theses focuses on the possibilities of metacognitive procedures use in learning and personal development of a student. It consists of theoretical bases of the topic as well as of empiric research of "minutes of learning", one of the metacognitive strategies which help students to adapt relevant learning abilities. In the theoretical part we can find the principles of education for 21st century and the key skills of a learner, as well as the fundamental curricular documents. In other chapters, the learning and personal development of a student is being focused. There are seven topics necessary for complex development of learner's personality. We get an overview of psychological concepts of the topics, and an insight of different psychological theories which are concerned with metacognitive strategies. The conditions for development of metacognitive dispositions of a learner are mentioned in the last chapter of the theoretical part. The methodological part states the aim of empiric research, describes the method used and defines the chosen sample. The third part - empiric research - examines the influence of the metacognitive strategy "minutes of learning" on the overall approach of a learner towards their own learning process. V posledních letech stále více slyšíme nejen v médiích o problémech současného světa. Problémech regionálních a zejména problémech globálních, ať už environmentálních, interkulturních či antroposociálních. Neustále slyšíme o zhoršujících se mezilidských vztazích ať už v rodině, ve škole, v obcích, v politice, v celé společnosti. Hledají se různé cesty možné nápravy, a tudíž i příčiny tohoto současného stavu. Je jisté, že příčin je mnoho, možná více, než si je společnost schopna uvědomit a ochotna připustit. Tudíž i cest k nápravě současné situace je nespočet. Jednou z nich může být i vědomé utváření osobnosti člověka již v prenatálním období. Součástí světa jsou lidé, a změny mohou nastat tehdy, pokud se kromě anonymního "my" budeme obracet k osobnímu "já". Mnozí psychologové soudí, že mnoho problémů každého z nás vzniká již v průběhu prenatálního a perinatálního života. A i vzájemný vztah dítěte s jeho okolím, nastává již od početí. Nejprve pouze s matkou, později i s dalšími.

The effect of nursemaid proffesion on the development of self-concept

The diploma thesis is focused on child care by nursemaid or another person. The target of this work is to show the topic in history and nowadays context. The dissertation (its theory and research) described child care institutions, and also gender situation in family and description of relationship between mother and her child. The research of this dissertation is aimed personality of nursemaid, her self-concept and motivation of work. The diploma thesis described importance of this profession by report of experienced nursemaid. The attachment is made of history pictures, researches, summaries, and research materials. The main focus is importance of position and personality of nursemaid.

Grants towards primary and secondary schools in Karlovy Vary region

Cílem mé práce bylo přispět všem, kteří si uvědomují, že získávání grantů je pro rozvoj školy nezbytné, k orientaci v grantových nabídkách a grantové politice, upozornit také na některé systémové nedostatky a nejasnosti při výběru jednotlivých projektů. Práce neměla za úkol tyto nedostatky řešit, jejím smyslem bylo na ně poukázat a umožnit zájemcům o granty orientaci v této problematice a snad díky tomu zvýšit jejich šanci uspět ve výběrovém řízení. Z mé práce vyplývá, že granty jako další zdroj financování jsou přínosem pro české školství a bylo by velkou chybou této příležitosti nevyužívat.

The role of non-profit organisations in determining leisure time activity of children and adolescent youth

In the first part, it discussess adolescence from the point of view of psychology and sociology. The next part attempts to define the key concepts: peer group, free time and non-profit sector and following comes an overview of organisations providing leisure time activities to adolescents, including the non-profit organisations. The empirical part presents results of a small enquiry, which was carried to find out how adolescents really spend their leisure time, what organisations assist them in that and how they learn about these possibilities. Last but not least, it also investigated whether and to what extent are they satisfied with the currently available options.

Practise of helping profession and risks of beginning burnout

These days, with life comes complicated situations that one have to face every day. We all face stres, which in certain moments leeds to burnout. We are talking here about people working above their limits and don't know how to properly relax. Affected professions include especially helping proffesions, which means saniatrists, teachers, social workers and others. Actually, we can count any profession as affectable with burnout. To make sure our everyday stress situations will not lead to burnout, we need to precede it. Effective measures against burnout include healthy lifestyle, lots of human realitionships, upkeeping fair life environment, relaxation, etc.

A teacher as a victim of violence

The thesis is focused on violence against teachers. It is a broadly discussed topic because of several cases of teachers assaulted by a student in the Czech Republic or abroad, sometimes with fatal consequences. Usually there is an opinion that youth violent behaviour is on increase and therefore educational profession is becoming a risk one. The thesis suggests there is some kind of distortion in sources of such information which such opinions are based on. It relates both to news coverage and crime statistics. There is also a problem to define violence or aggressive behaviour. Moreover, we should consider them in a close relation to the work of a teacher, ideally as a type of so called workplace violence. The thesis explores causes of violence against teachers. Not only with respect to perpetrator but also regarding the victim and his or her behaviour or specific features typical for interaction between teachers and students. Empirical research is the most important source of relevant information related to the extent and patterns of violence against teachers. Unfortunately, there are only few studies focused on the problem. This is the reason why the discussion of the problem is usually based on guesswork or speculations but not on the real knowledge. The problems of the discipline of the alternative socialization

I write about historical, philosophical and pedagogical roots of the conception of the word discipline a its contemporary conception in the introductory theoretical part of my thesis. The word discipline in the thesis means healthy, concious respect of norms, rules connected with specific social roles, tasks, duties, action in harmony with the respect of the authority. The conception healthy concious respect of rules should express specific individual limit connected with the individuality of each person. My thesis also deals with questions of normality of a person and children with disorders of their behaviour. The next part of the thesis is situated in the area of both history and the present of alternative acculturation where the discipline has its sovereign position. Here I focus attention on specifics of re-education process, particularly clientage and educational methodology. Hereafter I also write about the problems of pedagogical staff and particularly about staff's authority like the attribute which arrages cultural formulas of society to a particular individual.
