Projection of Japanese inspiration in Art Nouveau interiors Bachelor thesis approaches the influence of Japanese motifs and design in residential interior design at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Initially focused on the opening of borders between Japan and Europe in the 19th century. Designers are mostly inspired by Japanese woodcuts, asymmetries, flatness and new themes that the Western world had only slightly. A pioneer happened Aesthetic movement, which in the 60th and 70th of the 19th century were the first to use the Japanese elements, which are primarily reflected in the interior design and decorative objects. The emphasis in the thesis is on the most important sector of Applied Arts in interior design - furniture, glass, ceramics and textiles in the period 1890 - 1910. The theme of the bachelor thesis is a small village in the north Bohemia, which is called Budyně nad Ohří. The main focus will be taken on the castle with the same name. In the opening chapters will be introduced the history of the village and then thesis will be focused on the own castle. On the cultural and historical development to the present appearance of the castle. In the ending chapters will be showed current using of this castle.

The symbols gallery in chorus of Prags cathedral This thesis expleins about a heraldic decoration under a inner triforium of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. This decoration, which began to form from the Renaissance, is veluable but it was offer overlooked. This decoration is set containing 38 provincial symbols. This thesis shows a context between symbols and a decoration of the metropolitan templ. This work is completed by contexts of history and by exploring of style evolution in art history. Romanesque church of the St. Mikuláš (Nicolas) in Potvorov

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the Romanesque church of the St. Mikuláš (Nicolas) in Potvorov in the western part of Bohemia. The first part of this thesis is dedicated to the history of the village Potvorov and to Potvorov's parish and to the history of the church itself. In this context are also sketched out the efforts for the style reconstruction (Romanization) of the church from the first half of 20th century. The second part of the thesis is focused on the building of the church itself - the description of the exterior and the interior of the St. Nicola's church, including contemporary state of the furniture. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the artistic-historical survey of the building, it includes the opinions of the researchers/scientists, that have explored style development of the church and that were interested in inspiration sources and influences that had impressed on the artistic interpretation of the St. Nicolas Church.

The Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape from the Perspective of Heritage Preservation Abstract This work deals with the Lednice- Valtice landscape which is understood as the subject of heritage protection. It emphasizes the importance of the local monuments, especially chateaux of Lednice and Valtice, which led to the inclusion of the complex on the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. It analyzes the prior development of cultural heritage and state monuments from 1945 to the present. A substantial part of the work is the period after registration to the UNESCO which evaluates the contribution of this step, especially in terms of completed projects.

Tomb reliquaries and their Czech monument reliquary of Saint Maurus Abstract Bachelor thesis presents tomb reliquaries as a unique group of reliquaries. It describes one of the representative of this group, relifuary of st. Maurus. It pursues its history which began in Belgien city Florennes and continued in Bečov nad Teplou with dramatic process. Reliquary of st. Maurus didn't see daylight for forty years, it was found in 1985. Thesis describes its extensive iconographic program which remindes us life stories of st. Maurus, st. Timotej, st. Apollinaire and st. John the Baptist. It pursues complicated restoration of reliquary st. Maurus which was exposed in Bečov chateau in 2002. Thesis describes Aachen reliquary of Charlemagne and tries to compare these two reliquaries. Marginaly thesis mentions about comparsion with others tomb reliquaries.
PLENARY OF HANUŠ II. Z KOLOWRAT FROM ST.VITUS TREASURY

The bachelor thesis called Plenář Hanuše II. z Kolowrat z chrámového pokladu svatovítského, is dealing with one of the leading liturgical objects from a time of Jiří z Poděbrad. Although St. Vitus temple treasure has adequate art-historical attention, this late-gothic relics panel eluded independent processing. Given the interest of student in the history of decorative arts and earlier studies at the School of Applied Arts in Turnov, is selected topic, where there can be demonstrated ability to connect classical art-historical perspective with practical insight, thoroughly dedicated to the art-craft techniques. Clearly sorted chapters, in which a person approaches the donor, his ancestry, accurate description of the object and history of its repairs, modifications and restoration, results in synthetic view which brings new information. Reliquary plate is not perceived only as a cold artistic creation, but especially as still alive liturgical object with reference to various relics and theological timeless meaning of oblation in the Middle Ages. The aim is, among other things, to get closer to the culture and donor activity of late-gothic Bohemia.

Painting work Anton Einsle, Johann Nepomuk Ender and Leopold Bucher The main sense bachelor work is closer acquaintance with the art pieces with us not so unappreciated artists Anton Einsle, Johann Nepomuk Ender and Leopld Bucher, which related to the person of the Emperor Ferdinand V. As this especially in Anton Einsle and Johann Nepomuk Ender on portraits, I focused on a specific iconography of images, ia depicting the soul and character of the person portrayed. For the reason that one of the paintings a historical theme (from painter Leopold Bucher), I also focused on closer approxiation relations with the Czech coronation. Outline the conditions that influenced changes in the culture of the 19th century. The thesis is focused on rural manor house, the concept of landscaping that of the Baroque symmetrical formations amended as an English park or ornamental farm. Park construction of utility changes the face into the point-of-view buildings. Romantic and sentimental garden design was influenced by painting and re affected him that became a model for landscape painting. Attention is given to the collection of the Museum of the City of Prague, which is thematically focused on documentation homestead Cibulka in the flow of time. Artistic depictions were made by artists and self-taught ones, painters, photographers and graphics. The work focuses on graphic art.

Theme of my thesis is Strakonice Castle and Commandry, where the House of Bavor and the Knights of Malta lived abreast for almost two centuries. Initially, my thesis will follow up the development of settlement of Prácheň region, especially of the Strakonice region, from the earliest times to 13th century. Next part of the thesis will introduce the House of Bavor and the Knights of Malta and their activities at the Strakonice castle. In conclusion, the thesis will deal with the foundation of Commandry and the castle, their subsequent architectural development and architectural analysis.
