Methods of environmental education in teaching lessons

This thesis "Methods of environmental education in teaching lessons" is focused on environmental methods used in preschool education and at elementary schools as a constituent part of education. The theoretical part is dedicated to the basic terminology, description of nursery and primary schools and their School Education Program and the environmental methods used by these institutions as a part of their educational program. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part which is based on the survey. The purpose of this survey is to find the relationship of teaching staff to environmental education and their relationship to practical implementation of environmental methods in education including the specific methods used in the classroom. Influence of the level of teachers' environmental awareness on the level of pupils' environmental awareness at the selected schools in the Žatec region

The thesis is focused on an assessing the impact of the level of an environmental literacy of primary school teachers to the level of the environmental literacy of pupils in primary schools in the region Zatec. This work continues on a thesis Silvie Svobodové (2013) The influence of environmental education at the level of environmental literacy of pupils in primary schools Zatec region and complements the conclusions on the extent of influence of environmental education on environmental awareness of the 2nd degree. It examines the extent of the influence level of teachers'environmental literacy to the level of the environmental literacy among students. The theoretical part includes a literature search, including the characteristics of the Saaz region. The introduction of practical part presents an overview of environmental education and awareness practiced in tested primary schools. Survey was carried out through sequential combined research, scheme QUAN-qual. The questionnaire was tested in June 2015 with 84 respondents, 13 men and 71 women. Structured interview in October 2015 attended 12 teachers, 4 men and 8 women. Infertility of the 21th century and it's solution

ABSRACT: Problems with infertility is very actual theme, each sixth couple, which decide to have children, deal with the problem of infertility. This bachelor thesis makes efforts to give a summary of possibility. At first there is a clarification of infertility (both the men's one and the women's one), causes of sterility and possibility of screening infertility (including immunology issues). The thesis is focused on varius opportunity of solution the problem: form of treatment infertility, especially assisted reproduction and it's varius modifications. Very discussed solution is surrogate maternity, which is elaborated. And at last the opportunity of adoption, which is for many people the end of unsuccessful treatment. The research part is aimed at describe and analyse individual case of women, who are forced to deal with given problem, which opportunities the women choose or chose (with respect to state of health, life attitude, faith and financial opportunities). The conclusion of research part is formulation of advices and recommendations to women centend with sterility or to women who wil be forced to solve this problem.

TITLE: The Environmental Education in the Basic School of Červené Pečky AUTHOR: Jana Nováková DEPARTMENT: Katedra pedagogiky TUTOR: PhDr. Alena Thorovská ABSTRACT: This bachelor's thesis called "The Environmental Education in the Basic School of Červené Pečky" points out the possibilities how to realize the environmental education in a basic school. Elementary environmental and pedagogical notions, teaching methods, and reasons for the environmental education are clarified in the theoretical part. The practical part is divided into two projects which deal with water. The first project works with elementary school pupils and this one should enrich pupils' knowledge and experience with water. The junior pupils in the second project learn about ponds nearby. The practical part comes out of the research which was accomplished by means of a questionnaire. The emphasis in both parts is put on the progress in pupils' relation to nature when using practical environmental activities. The aim of this thesis is to increase the pupils' interest in nature, to discover natural relations and the laws of nature, to recognize the familiar environment and to create a positive attitude to it, last but not least to understand the importance of the environment for us and for next generations. Students' knowledge of upper primary school about diseases transmitted by ticks

The main research problem concerns the characteristics of tick-borne disease and determine the quantity and quality of information that students get in health education and biology of these diseases. The theoretical part deals with the history, etiology, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease. It also discusses the general problems of tick and other diseases that ticks carry and cause. Also is mentioned the inclusion of tick-borne diseases in the educational program. The practical part is devoted to the awareness of upper primary school students and changes in their knowledge about the issue during their elementary education. The aim of this thesis is to determine how the students are informed about diseases transmitted by ticks, especially about Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. This method is used questionnaire, which includes questions regarding this issue. Although the results of the research show a certain degree of knowledge of students at upper primary school, especially in some classes is unsatisfactory.
