Drivers clothing thermal resistance database for iHVAC system

This diploma thesis is focused on measurement of thermal properties of clothes by thermal manikin and on application of results for prediction of thermal comfort in system iHVAC. First part of thesis is dedicated to research with relation to this topic and to definitions of main computational equations necessary for experimental measurement. The choise of method for measurement based on available standards is an important part of this thesis. The main focus of thesis lies on measuring 5 combinations of clothes at different calibration temperatures and same temperature of manikin surface. Then data are examined and also the analysis of uncertaities and repeatability is maked. According to assupmtion , the independence of value of heat transfer coefficient to ambient temperature is comfirmed and calculated heat resistance of every single clothes is compared to existing wardrobe for system iHVAC. The outcome of this thesis is specificied and completed virtual wardrobe which serves to prediction of thermal comfort in car.
Measurement of clothing sets by means of thermal manikin

This diploma thesis is focused on the experimental determination of thermal resistance of the gloves and their combination in the layering system. The measurement was based on procedure specified in the standard ČSN EN 511 by means of thermal manikin. The thesis begins with the description of heat transfer mechanisms, description of glove materials and measurement methodology. The body of paper consists of the measured data analysis and equation design for determination of the glove layering system thermal resistance. At the end of the thesis, these equations are evaluated and it has been shown, that the thermal resistance of glove layering system cannot be precisely determined by the calculation, and it is necessary to measure the whole three-layer system.
An induction machine with solid rotor

This master’s thesis is focused on induction motor with solid rotor. The introduction is dedicated to the full analysis of the rotor. Then model of motor with solid rotor was designed in 2D and 3D. Simulations of these models were carried out using the finite elements method. Further in this thesis there are laboratory measurements` results due to the motor`s sample. Based on the results from simulations and measurements rotor modifications have been proposed, which led to improved machine parameters. 2D models have been developed by rotor modifications. These models went through finite elements method`s simulation. In the conclusion of the thesis there are all results from measurements and simulations compared.
Air-conditioning of office rooms

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design the air conditioning system for one floor of the offices. The thesis is divided into theoretical, computational and design part. The computational part consists in determining the amount of ventilation air, calculation of heat losses, heat gains and psychrometric calculations for summer and winter season. Based on the calculated values, air ducts, end-points and air-conditioning units are designed. The diploma thesis is supplemented with a list of materials and drawing documentation.
Foundation and creation of a limited liability company

Summary: In my thesis I focus on foundation and creation of a limited liability company under Czech law. Special attention is given to the explanation of limited liability of the partners of this type of company. The paper also focuses on distinction of the terms foundation of a company and creation of a company and the difference between them. The theoretical definition of the limited liability company is then followed by examining, explaining and analysing the foundation and subsequent creation of a limited liability company. The text also presents the new law, regulating inter alia limited liability companies, that comes into effect on 1st January 2014. The thesis is, apart the introduction and conclusion, composed of the chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of foundation and creation of limited liability companies. Chapter one is introductory and defines the basic terminology and juridical institutes that are then used in other chapters of the paper. The system of remedial measures

Summary: In my master's thesis I focus on remedial measures and appellate proceedings. Special attention is given to explanation of rules and principles of the appellation, cassation and revision correction system and the differences between them. This theoretical definition of the mentioned systems is then followed by their practical application in the Czech civil procedure, including its development in the last ten years and mentioning possible amendments in the future. At the end of the paper there is presented the German legal regulation of remedial measures. The master's thesis is, apart of the introduction and conclusion, composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with remedial measures and correction systems from a different point of view. Chapter one is introductory and outlines the questions of appellate proceedings and legal remedies, it also defines basic terminology that is then used in other chapters. Chapter two introduces various correction systems. The chapter is subdivided into four parts. Part one describes the appellation system and its principles. Risk Management in Selected Company

The thesis is focused on problematic of risk management process. This topic is frequently ignored in number of firms in Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the system of risk management based on analyzing in a company of AWIGO s.r.o. and in case of deficiencies propose own solution. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the processing of literature research from the technical literature, summarizes the basic concepts and then explains the process of analysis and risk management in companies and other organizations. The practical part analyzes the specific company. In the company ran an interview with three respondents. The interview outlined the current status of the company's risk management. For the evaluation of the real state of risk management was used an internal documents dealing with risk management. After analyzing the status of the proposed solution containing the identification of the fundamental risks for the areas in which the company is engaged. Individual identified risks are assessed according to established criteria set out on my own experiences and observations from the position of temporary worker and consultations with experts in the area of company business. In conclusion of this thesis are given evaluations and recommendations based on previous analysis of risk management in the company. The main proposal is to start using risk management and appropriately adjust the responsibilities and duties within the company.
Design and measurement of a small induction motor

This bachelor thesis deals with design and measurement of a small induction motor. The introduction describes a structure and an operating principle of the induction motor. The following part deals with analytical calculation of three-phase induction motor‘s properties. Next are executed an analytical calculations and a finite element method calculations by the Maxwell software. In the end are these calculations compared with results from measurement.
Determination of thermal properties of gloves by means of thermal manikin

This diploma thesis is focused on determination of thermal properties of gloves by means of thermal manikin. The background research with relation to this topic together with derivation of the computational equations used for the following measurement are presented in the first part. The most significant part of this work is suggestion of procedure for measuring the heat resistance of gloves with thermal manikin based on procedure from ČSN EN 511. This methodics was verificated with 5 pairs of gloves together with analysing the uncertainties and testing the repeatability of this measurement. This work also contains the outline for all of the measured pairs with posibilities of their usage in specific situations and surrounding air temperatures. At the end of this work is mentioned brief summary of achieved results.
Car Cabin Aditional Ventilation System Powered by Photovoltaic Panel

The aim of the Master thesis is to design and verify the function of the system for the ventilation of parked car in the summer season with the intention to cut down the temperature peak in the cabin of the vehicle. The design of the system consists of the suitable placement of the fans and corresponding inlets and outlets for the flowing of the ventilating air. The fans are powered by a photovoltaic panel. The functionality of the system is verified by the measuring of the temperature drop in the cabin of the car. The ambient conditions for the setting of the intensity of solar radiation and of the ambient temperature have been chosen from the real measurements from TUBO station which is meteorological station of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BUT Brno.
