Prevention of defects during tube bending

The bachelor thesis describes the most occurring defects of tube´s component bending. The first part of this thesis is focused on a detailed research of these unwanted phenomenons. The second part contains complete list of possibilities in the defects reduction. There are quoted the suitability and the terms of use for an individual eliminative methods in the second part of this thesis, too. The last part of this bachelor thesis contains classifying of elimination possibilities to the particular types of defects.

Reporting of the Selected Firm

This diploma thesis is concerned with the analysis of reporting activities in the company PBS Turbo s.r.o. The first part explains the concept of reporting as one of the basic functions of controlling. Additionally there is presented the theoretical knowledge of reporting. The second part focuses on an analysis of the current situation in reporting in the selected company. In the last part are detailed recommendations to make the process of reporting more effective.

Study of the effect shielding gas on the quality of weld and parameters of laser welding

The subject of this diploma thesis is the use of laser welding technology in protective atmospheres. Based on the literary research presented in the theoretical part of the thesis, two experiments were made. Welding of materials X5CrNi18-10 and X2CrNiMo17-13-2. Welded sheets were performed in three different protective atmospheres. Samples were made from the welded sheets for measuring tensile strength, hardness, macrostructure and microstructure. These samples were analyzed. The output of the analysis is the evaluation of the impact that the protective atmosphere have on the quality of the welded joint and optimal process parameters.

State Security in 1989

Thesis wants to show how well the Czechoslovak secret police was informed about the activities, plans and tactics of the political opposition especially in the year 1989. The main sources for the paper are the authentic records of the State Security as regular situation reports, information on the security situation in the country, inside directives of the secret police, but also some documents of the Communist Party leadership. Text shows which were the most important activities of the independent initiatives in the viewpoint of StB and prove that the security forces of the regime seem to might have had (surprisingly) good information on the opposition initiatives. Paper is also aimed on some functional aspects of the State Security, which did not exist in a political vacuum, but was directly subordinated to the Communist Party. Finally, it describes changes in the organizational structures of StB, particularly linked to the reform in 1988. Consociational democracy in contemporary perspective

The bachelor thesis "Consociational Democracy in Contemporary Perspective"pursues, as the name suggests the consociational democracy model. It attempts to make readers acquainted both with the theory and with some of the critique that has been made during four decades. Consociational democracy appears in 1960-ies as a rather narrow empirical model that was to explain stability in plural societies; it nevertheless radically changes and transfers itself in much more ambitious theory. This is recognized and described by the essay.
