Detection of functional disorders of platelets using the PFA device in comparison with conventional aggregometry
Klausová, Kateřina ; Bártů, Iva (advisor) ; Blažková, Hana (referee)
UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE 2. lékařská fakulta Oddělení klinické hematologie ve FN Motol Kateřina Klausová Detection of functional disorders of platelets using the PFA device in comparison with conventional aggregometry Bachelor work Abstract The theme of this work is to compare two devices designed for measuring functional disorders of platelets - the PFA device and the agreggometer. The PFA device was introduced recently and measures closure time of capillary in a special cartridge. The measurement takes place in a whole blood sample. Aggregometer is used for stimulation of platelet aggregation by the inductors. The measurement takes place in platelet rich plasma. This work compares results of patients whose blood samples were measured on both devices. It figures out whether the results of the devices match and describes their advantages and disadvantages. The work leads to conclusion that is appropriate to use both devices for complementary results in the laboratory. Comparsion of patient samples demonstrates that patients with reduced percentage of aggregation have also prolonged capillary closure time.
Easements
Blažková, Hana ; Švestka, Jiří (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
This thesis deals with the legal institute of easements. These are rights in rem to another person's property which restrict the owner of immovable property in favor of another person so that he is obliged to tolerate something, to refrain from something or to perform something. Easements serve more beneficial usage of immovable property or in favor of a particular person. The thesis consists of ten chapters. The first chapter describes the historical development of easements in five sub-chapters. The second chapter deals with the definition and function of easements. The third chapter examines their sorting. The fourth chapter deals with the content of easements. The most common easements - the right of way and the right to use a flat or a room - are described in two sub-chapters. The fifth chapter deals with an issue of recording easements in the land register. The sixth chapter, the largest, successively pays attention to individual ways of their creation in six sub-chapters. In three sub-chapters of the seventh chapter modification of easements (in their subjects, content and object) is analysed. The eighth chapter examines individual ways of termination of easements in six sub-chapters. Separately, in the ninth chapter, limitation of time of easements is dealt with. The final chapter describes...
Comparing results of cell blood count and leukocyte differential count between different series of analyzers Sysmex
Opletalová, Monika ; Blažková, Hana (advisor) ; Bártů, Iva (referee)
In this bachelor thesis I focused on comparing results of cell blood count and leukocyte differential count between three types of Sysmex analyzers. XS - 1000 i, XT - 4000i and XE - 5000 are automatic analyzers, measuring on principles of flow cytometry and impedance methods using hydrodynamic focusation. These methods provide very accurate blood cell an alysis. The theoretical part of bachelor thesis is focused on description of hematopoesis, options for measuring cell blood counts and leukocyte differential counts and general description of measuring methods used by Sysmex analysers. In the experimental part I described the composition of mentioned analysers, their measuring channels and reagents which are used for peripheral blood cells analysis. Every sample from 50 patients was measured on each analyser and results were statistically compared by using ANOVA test. Graphs showing average values of each parameter for negative and positive patient ́s samples were made. The aim of this study was to summarize the main advantages and disadvantages of all three analyzers and determine whether differences in the results of samples between analyzers are statistically significant or not. Running away from and towards form: About form and matter in the works of Witold Gombrowicz and Bruno Schulz
Blažková, Hana ; Benešová, Michala (advisor) ; Gál, Eugen (referee)
Witold Gombrowicz and Bruno Schulz - two Polish authors of the decades between the two world wars - are regarded as prime examples of the Polish avant-garde. The main focus of this thesis, as well as of the work of these two authors, is their approach to form and matter. Schulz describes a world in motion, where matter loses its original form and gains another, everything flourishes, disintegrates and forms again. Gombrowicz's approach is rather socio-psychological, he uses form to reflect on human relations, societal flaws and the creation of a person's identity. The thesis is divided into two parts - "Analysis" and "Synthesis". The Analysis offers a detailed study of the themes of "the absolute girl" and "travel back in time". In this part, I analyze these two motifs as they appear in Gombrowicz's "Ferdydurke" and Schulz's short stories "Spring" and "A Pensioner" as well as in other works by these authors. In Synthesis I argue that both Schulz and Gombrowicz created extraordinarily active literary characters - it is them who cause the disintegration and formation of the world. The final chapter of this thesis called "Analysis and Synthesis and the Beating World" searches for a world not limited by form - its pulse, or rhythm.
The methods of political reading in post-socialist Czechia and Poland
Blažková, Hana ; Šebek, Josef (advisor) ; Bílek, Petr (referee)
This thesis aims to analyze Czech literary criticism of the 1990s from the perspective of political reading. In the first part, the basic tendencies of Polish literary criticism are introduced: these form a contrast to the Czech context and also problematize some underlying notions of Czech literary historiography. The second part discusses the following terms: politics and police Rancière), depoliticization (Schmitt, Barthes) and ideology (Eagleton). These are adjusted to the specifics of the Czech context. The practical part of the thesis looks at the political interpretation of the critical reception of three novels by Michal Viewegh. The topics of the reception becomes the focus here: the debates around these novels include suppressed political messages such as the fight for the historical narrative of the previous political regime, or the disputes over high and low literature. These reflect the helplessness of the literary field, caused by the pressure of the commercialized book market. This part also looks at the contemporary debates on the so-called authentic literature and two program manifestoes. These examples show that the Czech literary field's proclaimed split from politics is only rhetorical: the result is not its autonomy, but an unreflected heteronomy.

Nurse in the role of the patient
BLAŽKOVÁ, Hana
Everyone may be admitted to hospital, even a nurse. Nurses in the role of patients may have a completely different experience with hospitalization than other patients. The nurse is familiar with the issue, but other clients are usually not. That can have its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that a nurse-patient knows how should the nursing care look like and then she can evaluate her colleague. The disadvantage is that if a nurse makes a mistake, the nurse-patient recognizes it and may worry about possible complications. The first goal is to ascertain how the nurse experienced hospitalization as a patient. The second objective is to determine how the hospitalization influenced the nurse in her employment. The research was conducted by applying the qualitative method. The method was carried out by using a semi-structured interview. Thirteen respondents were approached for the survey. All answers are completely anonymous. The interviews were collected during March 2018. The categorization of the results was processed by coding and dividing into categories and subcategories. The collected data revealed that the nurses' experiences with hospitalization are very individual. The most significant problems have been reported in providing information. Errors in performing expert procedures were also revealed. These errors could endanger the health of clients. The nurse-patients appreciated the nursing care. After the hospitalization, the work of nurses in their employment was also affected. The nurses considerably improved in communication, education, empathy, and general approach to the patient. They are able to sympathise with the patients because of experiencing their hospitalization. We have concluded that if a nurse gains the experience from her own hospitalization she can then comprehend the role of the patient and at the same time she can provide better nursing care. The results of this study may serve as a material for nurses to consider their behaviour and their approach to the patients.
