Detached house with a design office

The aim of my bachelor thesis is a project of a new detached house with a shop at a level of the documentation for the structure realization. The building is partly basement with two above-ground floor and a flat roof. The structural system of the basement part is made up of permanent shuttering and the above-ground part is made up of timber frame. The project of the building is in accordance with the development plan of Příbor and with the current street built. The work puts great emphasis on layout including security of the construction in terms of statics, architecture, energy savings and safety at utilizing the structure.

Apartment building on a sloped site

The aim of my master's thesis is a project of a new apartment building on a sloped site at a level of the documentation for the structure realization. The building is partly basement with four above-ground floor. Individual floors up recede and are roofed with flat roofs. The structural system of the basement part is made up of permanent shuttering and the above-ground part is made up wall of cross laminated timber construction panels KLH. The project of the building is in accordance with the development plan of Kopřivnice and with the current street built. The work puts great emphasis on layout including security of the construction in terms of statics, architecture, energy savings and safety at utilizing the structure.

Spiral conveyor

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a proposal construction of the spiral conveyor serving to the transport wheat from the container to the grinding equipment. The introduction describes the theoretical part of the screw conveyors, spiral conveyors and transported materials. This is followed by construction solution and calculation of the most important parts of the conveyor.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

The diploma thesis focused on financial management of the company TRANSBETON s.r.o.. In the theoretical part there is a presentation of the assessed company and a general explanation of the term financial analyses, principles of which are applied on company. In the second part the obtained results are evaluated and compared with the data set for an advancement of the firm. Based on these results it is possible to propose an enhancement of the current state of the firm and its prospective development in the future.

Brominated and iodinated disinfection by-products

The reaction of a disinfectant with natural organic matter in the presence of bromides and iodides in raw water intended as a source of drinking water produces brominated (Br-DBPs) and iodinated disinfection by-products (I-DBPs) of water. These tend to be more cytotoxic and genotoxic than their chlorinated analogues. However, little information is available on these products compared to chlorinated ones. Therefore, the aim of this work was to provide an overview of natural and anthropogenic sources of bromine and iodine containing substances, to determine their influence on the formation of brominated and iodinated disinfection by-products, and to compare their cytotoxicity and genotoxicity with chlorinated products. Increasing seawater intrusion into the groundwater drinking water source was found to increase the concentrations of Br-DBPs and I-DBPs by up to thousands of percent. A number of substances can be released from water pipe material depending on the material. These include, for example, tenorite and copper cation released from copper piping, iron cation released from cast iron and steel piping, and bromides and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) released from plastic piping. Use of ICT in the food industry

The primary purpose of this study is to analyse the usage of information and communication technologies in the food industry. Nowadays, information and communication technologies are an essential element on the path to business success. As these technologies evolve, the environment in which businesses operate changes and companies have to adapt to this dynamic progression. The first part of the thesis is the literature review, which offers the necessary theoretical basis. It focuses on the very essence of information and communication technologies, historical development, information systems and their components. The thesis does not omit the currently used tools of information and communication technologies or elements of the Industry 4.0. The empirical part is based on data obtained from the questionnaires and offers analysis of food industry enterprises in connection with the usage of information and communication technologies. A number of statistical tools were used to analyse the data, the findings were further compared with similar researches dealing with the same or similar issues. At the very end of the thesis, the findings were evaluated and the key points were set out to help companies on the way to effective usage of information and communication technologies and competitiveness.

Enviromental Analysis of the Chosen Organization

The primary purpose of this study is to determine internal and external environment of the selected organization. The ability to analyse, understand and describe environment belongs to basic skills of each manager. The thesis is divided into two parts. The literature research gives a detailed description of primary used analyses like PESTLE or SWOT. These analyses including the financial analyses create the required basis but only by using them together not each of them separately. The empirical part of this study is based on application of the mentioned analyses to the chosen company. The interview with one or more managers are used as the source of information. This study is aimed to enhance current status of the company and after evaluation it gives managers opportunities to improve for example supply, sales or internal communication.

This master's thesis makes a brief comparison of design variants of belt conveyors with variable length including examples of use. The thesis is also deals with design of travel drive of movable head, witch is a part of propel station of belt conveyor for long distance belt conveyor systems. The thesis perform static analysis of steel structure of movable head. This thesis can serve as guidance for handling similar projects. Contains basic drawings of movable head steel structure and components of the movable head travel drive.
