The sentence of community service is classified as an alternative sentence, that is, a sanction not connected to the execution of a sentence of imprisonment, which has the appropriate positive effect in that the convicted person does not lose his personal background and social contacts, which are a significant benefit for leading a proper life. The diploma thesis primarily deals with cooperation within the framework of community service. In the initial theoretical part, the field of social work in criminal justice, the actors, the setting and the course of community service punishment are characterized in more detail. In the research part, a qualitative investigation was carried out: interviews - providers and a probation officer; case studies. Activities of Probation and Mediation Service of CR focused on working with victims
Diplomová práce má dvě části - teoretickou a výzkumnou.
