Cultural center Puppet
Kuchaříková, Andrea ; Kalánek, Ing Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents a project documentation for construction of a community centre with a restaurant. Its construction site is located on the outskirts of town Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Poděbradova street. The building is composed from three parts, which are connected to each other. The first part houses the restaurant with its facilities. This part is a single floor structure covered by a flat green roof. Its façade is formed by white boards composed into an asymmetrical pattern. The second part serves as a backstage area where all the necessary facilities are located. This second part of the building is as the first part a single floor structure covered by a flat green roof. Its façade is formed by façade timber boards. The main entrance is located in the middle part, which is the third part the building. It has two floors and it houses an auditorium, a bar and amenities. Its façade is formed by trapezial boards. The construction system is formed by load bearing walls and by prestressed concreted floor panels or in some parts by cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The building has strip foundations. Its interior walls are built from sand-limestone bricks with acoustic properties. The perimeter walls are covered with ventilated façade with mineral wool thermal insulation. The heating of the community centre is powered by gas boiler connected to single-vent chimney with ventilation shaft.
Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

My project of revitalization part of Floral Garden leave green walls intergrow from main part of Flowering Garden in organical design. It's create new "green space" with various funcional, symbolic and ideal use.
Production of aquariums Brno Pavlica
Chrobák, Milan ; Kotek, arch Jakub (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
This bachelors final project is based on an atelier project of the sixth semester of the bachelors study program of architecture of civil engineering. This project is based on the original design. The task was to design an object suitable for production and show of large-sized interior aquarias made by company PAVLICA Akvária, originaly located in Uherský Ostroh, and its administration. The plot, where the object has to be located, is labeled as brownfield no. 0811. This area is situated in Horní Heršpice, Brno. Designed object respects the surrounding terrain and copies it with its staging volume. The building is reflecting personal and profesional approach of the company to every contract. The building is two-storey. On its ground floor, there is situated showroom for presetation of company and for event happenings. On the second floor, there is administration offices, staff facilities, support areas, production itself including stock.
Nature in buildings
Kojecká, Karolína ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the influence of the green interior wall to the microclimate of the room. The experimental part of the thesis assesses the thermal-humidity microclimate, the microbial microclimate and the concentration of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the air. In the project part, a variant solution for the ventilation of an office building was prepared. In the first variant, mechanical cooling was used to cover the heat load, while the second variant used passive cooling and direct adiabatic cooling with a green wall.
Systems of energy efficient buildings
Šlampová, Kateřina ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is systems of energy efficient buildings with a focus on the building envelope. The first theoretical part describes the quantities that we consider when designing the building envelope. The second half of the theoretical part is with reference to the experimental part of the thesis focused on a special type of vertical perimeter structure, namely walls with live vegetation installed from the outside of the structure. The second, practical part of this work, deals with the design of heating and hot water supply for a multifunctional building. The design is elaborated in two variants - heating by means of radiators in the first variant and in the second variant by means of floor heating for residential units of the solved building. The third part define an experiment, which had the task of comparing the measured quantities on two types of vertical perimeter structures, namely a structure with growing greenery from the outside and an identical structure only without a layer of greenery. At the same time, the task was to check the possible influence of the applied greenery on heat losses, and thus the design of the heating system.
Pension Přehrada
Svobodová, Monika ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The topic of master project was the processing the design documentation for a Pension Přehrada. I designed a pension with a restaurant and a small wellness area. It is a detached building in the cadastral territory of Brno Kníničky. The building is L-shaped and consists of two parts. The first part has two above-ground floors and a loft. This part of the building is covered by a gable green roof. The second part of the building has one above-ground floor and warm flat roof. The vertical structures are designed from ceramic blocks. The external masonry is insulated with the ETICS. Some external masonary are designed like exterior ventilated facade with stone cladding and a green facade. Floor structures are designed by SPIROLL panels. The master project includes the concept of heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic hot water heating, lighting, rainwater management and photovoltaic panel design. In the part of my project, I focused on optimizing the design of the gable roof. I changed the composition of the gable roof so that more rainwater would be retained to be used in the facility. I placed additional photovoltaic panels on the gable roof and simulate whether they would cover the electricity consumption in the building. I evaluated the changes in the energy performance certificate, and compared them with the original design.
Office building, Moravská Nová Ves
Trčková, Michaela ; Bečkovská, Tereza (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s project is to develop a design documentation for the building permission of a two-storey office building located in Moravská Nová Ves. On the ground floor there are four offices or shops for rent. The first floor is reserved for a café or a bistro. There is also a part of the building which is used as a utility room. The first part of this project is the structural and architectural design of the building. The structural system is the combination of the RC frame and steel frame with steel roof structure. The facade system was designed as a semi structural mullion/transom curtain wall. A part of the ground floor is roofed by a walkable flat roof and semi-intensive green roof. The main roof is pitched roof with an insulation over rafters. The second part of my master thesis is dedicated to building services design. The building is heated by a heat pump and the system of warm water floor heating. There were also used smart led lightening, photovoltaics and rainwater treatment. In the last part, I did research in green walls, and I have made an evaluation how do they effect interior clime and which other benefits do they bring.
Vliv vegetace na teplotní režim městského prostředí
SEDLÁČEK, Jan
This thesis is aimed at the influence of vegetation on temperature in urban areas. In order to research this influence, a thermal camera was used to measure surface temperature in a number of places in České Budějovice. The results show that vegetation not only reduces thermal amplitudes, but also influences the temperature of surrounding surfaces (up to a few metres). Lower temperatures compared with conventional surfaces were reached during the summer days not only by trees, but also by less common green structures, such as ornamental plants or a green roof and wall. According to the results, some suggestions were brought in order to increase the effectivity of green infrastructure and to reduce the Urban Heat Island effect.
