Measurements of small flow rates
Lorenc, Dominik ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Mancl, Vlastimil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the extension of the laboratory fixtures with a~measuring track designed for the measurement of small fluid flows, on which the thermal flowmeter is tested. The used calibration methods are examined and the track is then subsequently constructed. A~measurement operating program is also developed to set the measurement parameters and to store the measurement data in the required format. The parameters and characteristics of the reference scale used and the thermal flowmeter provided are then measured on the constructed track. The measurement results are presented and the uncertainties of the selected flow rates are determined.
Programmable timer configurable via USB
Dresler, Jan ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of printed circuit boards and programming AVR microcontroller, that communicates with the digital thermometer Dallas, also with photoresist circuit and RTC. Using sensors and relay allows switching of different devices. The switch allows direct configuration with computer via USB using the auxiliary circuit UART.
Comparison of contact and contactless temperature measurement methods
Šváchová, Mariana ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This work is focused on the description of contact and contactless temperature measurement methods. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical introduction to the problem and then describes in details contact and contactless thermometers, their use, advantages and disadvantages. The content of the second part of the thesis is practical experiment on selected examples, which are subsequently evaluated.
IR thermometer
Fridrichová, Jitka ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
These master‘s thesis deals with the issues of contactless temperature measurement, designe and construction of the infrared contactless thermometer. The thesis is concerned with the IR physical magnitudes and laws, methods of measurment and types of detectors, which are used for contactless temperature measurment. In the practical part of the thesis is created system design and block diagram of the IR termometer. In the next part of the thesis is presented system design, drawing of the printed circuit board and software processing of the IR thermometer. In conclusion are summerized our achieved resultes.
Temperature monitoring unit
Martínek, Jaroslav ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Content of the Bachelor Thesis covers design and realisation of an unit for multipoint temperature measuring in cooling and freezing equipments in food stores and shops. As a controlling microcomputer is used an Atmel ATMega128, temperature sensors are realised by DS18S20 digital thermometers, connected via 1-wire bus. Unit can read temperature from 32 temperature sensors, includes memory for measured data, real time clock, Ethernet interface and display with buttons for basic user control. Temperatures are measured periodically with user defined interval, values are stored into internal memory and showed on display. Measured data can also be transferred via Ethernet to clinent PC, where can be viewed in form of table and graphs.
Microcontroller controlled timer
Heralecký, Lukáš ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis entitled "Microcontroller-controlledtimer" is focused on design and practical application created a device that will be capaje of depending on external dating of simple tasks. This paperdescribes the features and capabilities of the microcontroller ATmega162, the Operations and program services. There is also described several other components used such as RTC, LCD display, matrix keyboard, temperature and othersensors. The first part is devoted to the oretical introduction to microcontroller and used parts. In another part ofthe PCB design - suitable layout of components, connectors, location, solving problems in PCB design. Fortesting functions designed and manufactured equipment is made simple test PCB. The practical part ended custom programming microcontroller programming language C.
Wake on Lan with ATMega
Homola, Stanislav ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis describes realization of switch on computers using Wake on Lan function, implementation of web server into the Microcontroller and temperature measurement. For this purpose, it is used microcontroller ATmega 32, temperature sensor DS18B20 and Ethernet module ENC28J60. The introductory chapter describes all components and explains their functions. Following part contains a description of packet protocols TCP/IP and principle of the web server. In the last section, it is described the realization of th web server with funcion Wake on Lan and depicting of the temperature on the web page of the server.
Aplication of modern temperature sensors with microprocessor AVR
Hána, Jan ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This thermometer is based on integrated temperature senzor SMT 160–30, it is destined for temperature measurement in household or in industrial application where we do not need to know the precision temperature. Measured data are displayed on LCD and currently transmitted with RS232 up to PC, where it can be computerized.
Automated Control and Monitoring of Central Heating for Older Buildings
Mužila, Matej ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is a design of an automated heating regulation system for an old building. The thesis consists of a system architecture design, an implementation of the system, including prototype manufacturing of the required devices, and testing of the whole system in practice, with focus on functionality and efficiency. Several hardware devices were designed and manufactured, for which appropriate controlling software was implemented. The implemented software architecture enables users to control the system using a graphical user interface, and allows for an easy extension of the system. The graphical user interface, which is accessible both locally through a touchscreen and remotely using a web application, enables users to easily configure connected devices and regulated zones, and to set temperature level in the defined zones variably depending on a week day and time. The user interface also provides statistics about the heating system. The implemented automated heating regulation system was successfully tested in real conditions of a flat in a historical building. The system can be extended both hardware-wise and software-wise.
Wireless modular system for device control and data acquisition
Pejchal, Luboš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this project is to design a cheap and simple modular wireless system. Its purpose is wireless control of remote devices and transmission of short information blocks (temperature data, status of controlled devices…). The whole system is controlled by a PC. It utilizes hybrid wireless modules for transmission of information and control of remote devices. The project shows practical usage of a digital thermometer communicating via a 1-Wire bus. A solar cell in conjunction with a DC/DC up converter is used to power low-power temperature sensor device.
