Creation and verification of coerver training for the development of technical skills in older players
VOLF, Matěj
This thesis deals with the development of a training program according to the principles of the Coerver method for football players aged 9-11 years. It also aims to verify the effectiveness of this program on the development of technical skills in comparison with conventional training methods for this age group. A paired technical skill test and a 1-on-1 game situation test were used to test the effectiveness. Half of the probands incorporated the Coerver Method into their training for five weeks. The other group trained in the conventional way. After this training period, when the Coerver training plan was applied, both groups were tested again, and the results were compared with the initial measurement. The results speak positively in favour of Coerver training. In the final test, the players who had it implemented in their training were on average 2.8 seconds faster and committed on average 3 fewer errors than in the initial testing. Conversely, the group continuing with regular training worsened their average time by 0.2 seconds and committed only 0.3 fewer errors on average than in the initial test. In one-on-one situations in the attacking position, the Coerver group initially averaged 2.4 successful attempts out of 5 attempts, but after applying the training program, they averaged 3.6 successful attempts out of 5 attempts. The second group improved in this statistic by an average of only 0.2 successful attempts out of 5 during the period under review, from an initial 2.1 to 2.3 successful dribbles.
The importance of long-term physical activity for the level of fitness of children of younger school age (on the example of Olympic all-around)
Foltysová, Sabina ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Peřinová, Radka (referee)
Title: The importance of prolonged physical activity for the fitness level of younger school- age children (on the example of Olympic all-around). Objectives: The aim of this paper is to investigate, using the Olympic Diploma competition as an example, whether regular participation in the competition has an effect on higher fitness levels in younger school-age children. Methods: Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean and standard deviation) and data analysis (ANOVA method) were used to determine the difference of long-term physical activity on fitness level and to compare these results between children. Results: The theoretical part defines human development, especially younger school age, and also the development of physical abilities. It also describes motor tests, the history of testing and research on motor fitness testing in the Czech Republic and worldwide. The results compiled in this thesis were provided by the organisers of the Sazka Olympic multi-sport event and only lower primary school children aged 6 - 11 years were assessed. The arithmetic mean and standard deviation were calculated and the difference of long-term physical activity for the fitness level of the children was also calculated using data analysis (ANOVA method). The study population comprised a total of 95,430 children...
Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children
Oburková, Renata ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children Objective The point of the thesis is handle the issue of coordination ability. In the first part of the thesis I will talk about general issues of children's sports training, developmental patterns and the characteristic of sensitive periods. The fundamental basis of my research part is find out how the coordination skills involved in long-term sports training, what is their role in motor development of children and what their biological basis. Methods The thesis has a theoretical character and it uses qualitative methods: compares, analyses and interprets texts and data acquired through background research. Results Coordination skills have proven essential element of successful mastery of motor skills in the concept of long-term sports training more or less dependent on coordination. If there are individual skills developed in the sensitive periods is very difficult to catch up with missed this and achieve the same level of skills acquired. Important role in the development of coordination skills and heredity plays a connection with the state and function of the central nervous system. Key words sports training of children, coordination, development, sensitive periods
Use of games in Athletic Preparatory
Teplý, Lukáš ; Feher, Jan (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Use of games in Athletic Preparatory Objective: To compare theory from scholarly literature with practice of trainers in athletic preparatory training in terms of leading a trainig unit, involving playful activities and arranging them methodically to support development of motoric skills. Methods: In my study, I used a method of direct, unstructured, and straight observance, and a method of content analysis from the literature list presented. Results: On the bases of the observance method it was found that the work of observed trainers corresponds, with some exeptions, to the scholarly literature that deals with the issue. Thus a hypothesis was confirmed that involving and methodical setting of playful activities by athletic trainers coincides with common rules of the training unit's structure. This coincidence was reached in 95%. Keywords: motoric skills, playful elements, sensitive period, versatility, motivation Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The Montessori System and Present Czech Kindergarten
VESELÁ, Lenka
In the academic part of my degree project I focused mostly on describing the Montessori system. Herein I have adduced a couple of thoughts of Maria Montessori I found interesting or essential in some way relative to her method. For better understanding how Ms Marie Montessori came to the method, I considered important to mention a chapter about the first House of Children where her educational principals "crystallized". In the chapter "Individual scopes of the teaching" I expound the method in practice in kindergartens. In order to be able to compare the nowadays favoured personality approach towards the child, I first defined its development and nature, and then tried to find connections with the Montessori method. In the end of the academic part I try to expound individuation in the contemporary nursery school system and individuation in Montessori nursery school. In the practical part I focused on how the individual needs of children in nurseries are fulfilled in the ordinary versus Montessori nursery schools. I seek prospective connections and differences.
