Between Word and Image. A Series of Art Lessons with an Overlap into the Czech language for the 2nd Grade of Elementary School.\nl(theoretical-project thesis)

Diploma thesis on "Between word and imagine. A series of art lessonss with an overlap into the Czech laguage for the 2nd grade of elementary school" consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the wiew of the concept of word from the point of view of bohemianism and the concept of imagine from the perspective of art theory. Another part of the theoretical part deals with the connection of word and imagine in the works of Czech and foreign writers and visual artists and the connection of the writer or spoken word in books for children and youth, in which the focus is only on Czech visual artists. The end of the theoretical part will introduce the concept of intersubject relations from the point of view of didactics. The practical part will introduce a number of art lessons, which are focused on conneting the Czech language and art education. Two lessons took place at the EDUCAnet primary school in České Budějovice and the another two took place at the primary school in Puklice.
Project-based Learning and Its Implementation for Pupils in the 4th Grade of Elementary School

The diploma thesis focuses on project-based learning and its implementation in the 4th grade of primary school. The theoretical part deals with creation of project-based learning and its definition. Continues to describe the main features and characteristics, summarises the benefits, highlights the pitfalls that may arise and how to prevent them. In the last section, the characteristics of the younger school-age child are presented and summarized. The aim of the action research is to determine how to appropriately introduce project-based learning in the 4th grade and on what topics. At the same time, to create cooperatively functioning Teams. The data is collected through the teachers own teaching activities, in-depth unstructured interviews, and focus group. Educational computer game, its creation and use use teaching of thematic unit Chemical reactions

The bachelor thesis focuses on the creation and use of an educational computer game (click and point adventure) in teaching chemical reactions at the second level of primary schools. The aim of this project is to convey relevant knowledge to pupils in an attractive way, to develop cross-curricular relationships, their intrinsic motivation and key competences. Worksheets have been prepared to complement the game. The game is set in the well-known localities of Znojmo, whose geographical and historical attractions are introduced to the player in the course of the game.
The Use of Hluchov Floodplain Forest and Houšťka Park Forest in Tuition of Natural History and Biology

The diploma thesis deals with the use of the localities Houšťka Forest Park and Hluchov Floodplain Forest in the teaching of natural history at the 2nd level of primary schools, biology at the lower levels of grammar schools and at vocational secondary schools. Part of the theoretical part is a description of natural conditions and history of the site, the division into habitats and their characteristics. Furthermore, an inventory and description of plant species, including a list of zoological taxa, was performed for the needs of teachers. The questionnaire survey among teachers was focused on the use of localities during regular lessons, or compulsory optional subjects focused on natural history. The time required for the worksheets was based on the results of this survey. The didactic part includes the issue of interdisciplinary relationships, enumeration and description of forms and methods used in the teaching of science and biology. The main part of this part of the thesis are worksheets, which are in addition to consolidating knowledge of natural sciences and biology focused on the application of knowledge from other subjects such as mathematics, physics. Výuka Regionální geografie Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska jako prostředek pro rozvoj mezipředmětových vazeb vzdělávacích oborů zeměpis a anglický jazyk na 2. stupni ZŠ

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of regional geography of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the second degree of basic school. The main goal was to find out how the approach to teaching of regional geography of the United Kingdom varies in Grammar school in Sedlčany and basic school in Kosova Hora. Another goal was to find out how much pupils know about the topic. Theoretical part deals with a role of the thesis in curricular documents valid in the Czech Republic such as Framework Educational Program, School Educational Program, Thematic Plans and selected Geography and English language textbooks. One part of the thesis is dedicated to didactic analysis of these textbooks. Pilot survey for pupils of tercie at Grammar school Sedlčany and 8th grade of Basic school in Kosova Hora was based on perused materials and visits of school lessons. According to the results of the survey were prepeared ideas for educational activities which can be used in Geography and English lessons. These activities can be processed more in diploma thesis.
