Virtual reconstruction of the first metaverse and its economic analysis

The topic of my diploma thesis is Virtual reconstruction of the first metaverse and its economic analysis. The aim of the thesis is to virtually reconstruct the first metaverse and perform an economic analysis. In my diploma thesis, I am based on Neal Stephenson's novel Snow Crash, the setting of which also inspired the metaverse I created on the Resonite platform. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of the concept of metaverse, virtual reality, the Resonite platform and the Shapr3D modeling program. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the development of the metaverse itself and the visual programming of the metaverse. The practical part also contains economic analysis and deals with the testing of the entire concept, survey and final evaluation. The created metaverse, as the output of my entire diploma thesis, is published on the Resonite platform under the name Snow Crash by Zronek and is available for use.

Economic analysis of the chosen business company

The thesis deals with the economic analysis of the selected entity, especially in the context of an economic situation affected by several external causes (COVID-19 pandemic, energy crisis, inflation). The introductory section provides background information and the impact of the main crises that acted during the selected period between 2018-2022. The following section contains a description of the sector to which the selected entity belongs. The next section deals with a literature review with methods used in economic analysis. The methodological section includes all the methods that have been used on the selected firm and the methods suitable for selecting competing firms and comparing them. The methodological part is followed by the practical part, in which the first subsection provides a brief description of the selected enterprises and then the analysis of the selected indicators is carried out. As a complementary comparison of some indicators, Austrian enterprises were also selected for comparison. In the final part of the thesis, the individual indicators and models are summarised, augmented by the deduction of the impact of individual external influences. The last part is devoted to suggestions for improving the economic situation based on the data from the analysis.

Assessment of Economic Situation of the Company

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economic situation of the company. The company is then focused on the years 2017 to 2021. The company's performance is compared both with selected competitors and with industry values. As part of the theoretical part, methods are presented, which are subsequently used in the analytical part to evaluate the economic situation of the company. In the proposal part, proposals are presented leading to the improvement of the economic situation of the company.

The topic of this diploma study is to compile an overview of Domestic CHP units. The work is divided into three sections. The first section includes a summary of suitable CHP units. The second portion discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the individual chp units and the last segment describes the TEDOM Micro T8 chp unit, its possible integration in a family house, and its economic analysis.

Development of materials used in construction

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to analyze thermal properties and prices of the composition of the masonry with selected house in comparison with other types of construction. Theoretical part is dealing with development of certain material used in construction from history to the present and then pricing of construction work in the Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on the family house in Knínice village that fulfils the requirements of the passive house. I describe it in more details from a construction point of view and I compare its composition of the masonry with other compositions, both in terms of heat and in terms of price.

The Evaluation of the Economical Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

This master’s thesis’ objective is to assess the economical situation of the specific company. There are used methods of financial and economical analysis to examination of a proposal in this thesis. The first part of the thesis comprises theoretical fundamentals of the financial and economical analysis. The next part represents application of financial and economical analysis methods to assess the economical situation of the specific company. Summary gathers the general economical situation of the specific company and proposals to its improvement.
