Colorimeter for Medical Applications with NFC Connections
Šobich, Adam ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with assembling of a colorimeter using NFC technology. The theoretical part introduces the principles of colorimetric measurement, calibration curve, and important physical quantities. Further, the principle of NFC technology, its architecture, and division of NFC devices are described. The goal of the practical part is to propose a structural design and software solution of a colorimeter. Particular emphasis is placed on the selection of the RGB sensor that is being tested and its results are being analyzed. The construction of electrical circuit and microprocessor control are being solved. The manuscript deals with the implementation of an application for the Android operating system, which serves as the user interface of the colorimeter. Obtaining data from the sensor and storing it in a memory of the NFC tag is provided by the Arduino platform. Issues that were encountered during the work are analyzed in the discussion.

Software as a teacher's assistant for disciplines of music education
Kyjovský, Jan ; Bělohlávková, Petra (advisor) ; Prchal, Jan (referee)
In his thesis, the author presents several computer programs, which can be used in music education. Ways of use are also suggested. The first part focuses on the development of digital technologies up to now. Author names current trends in education, such as Bring Your Own Device, Massive Open Online Courses and online education in general. Special attention is given to the near future of education according to the latest Horizon Report study. This is followed by the overview of the virtual reality technologies as they enter into mainstream adoption next year. A little attention is also given to the beginning era of cognitive computational systems, which will have essential impact on forming education in the future. In the second part, the author deals with available software for Windows, as it is still the most widespread operation system on desktop and laptop computers. Only the software, which can be used in school environment, is included with special focus on music education. In the same way, applications for mobile devices on Android platform are examined, due to the predominant global market share of this operation system. Google announced that there are currently 1.4 billion active Android devices worldwide last year. This number has been growing at the pace of 1.5 million new activations...
Learning management system
Kinšt, Jakub ; Týnovský, Miroslav (advisor) ; Krůza, Oldřich (referee)
Presented bachelor thesis realizes web application helping lecturers and students of an arbitrary full-time presentation course. It provides simple, yet effective communication between the lecturer and his students, and among the students themselves via comments, private messages or discussion forum. It offers possibility to publish students' results, to test students via online assignments and to provide information about upcoming events. The thesis includes implementation of native client application for Google Android platform bringing most of the features directly to user's mobile device. The interface between the web application and the mobile application is developed separately and is universally applicable to other existing web application based on Nette Framework. Thanks to this interface, a client mobile application can be created in a matter of minutes and practically without affecting any of the existing web application's source code.
