Manufacturing processes of components with a minimum number of tools
Zábojník, Zdeněk ; Drbal, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on manufacturing components with a minimal number of tools on a CNC lathe. To demonstrate the production of components with a minimal number of tools, manufacturing procedures for two components, A and B, were designed. Component A is a typical component of simple shape that can be manufactured with a low number of tools. Component B is more complex in shape, and two production variants were proposed for it: one with a higher number of tools and one with a reduced number of tools. For both components were were selected tools, proposed manufacturing procedures and time calculations were carried out. In conclusion, a technical – economic evaluation and comparison of both variants for component B were conducted.
High-speed shaft production design
Polesný, Pavel ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
In the bachelor's thesis, a production process of the crankshaft of a single-cylinder two-stroke engine is designed. The flywheel has a diameter of 20.5 mm, the crank pin has a diameter 9 g6, the connecting rod pin has a diameter 4 g6, and the total length is 63.5 mm. Due to the production batch of 1000 pieces, the machining method was selected. The crankshaft will be produced as a monolith. Then the grooves at the ends of the ground surfaces 9 g6 and 4 g6 were addressed. Due to the wall thickness of 1.25 mm, the surfaces will be without grooves, and a radius or chamfer will be in the corners. The axial bearing and the connecting rod have an internal chamfer of 0.7x45°, thus grooves are unnecessary. The chosen material is 15.142 steel, tempered to a lower strength, supplied in 25x3000 mm bars by ZJP, s.r.o. The semifinished part will be manufactured on a Swiss-type lathe Manurhin K'MX EVO 732. After nitriding, the part will be ground on a Bernardo URS 500 N grinder. For the machining on the EVO 732, OPTIMA EXTREMECUT 46 mineral oil was chosen, and for grinding, a 2% concentration emulsion mixed from BITOL M petroleum emulsion oil was selected. Then the technological process was developed, and operational instructions were created. Calculations determined that 26 bars are needed for the production of the specified series. The entire series production will take just under 4 shifts.
Rationalization of holder production
Šidlák, Jaromír ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This thesis presents a proposal to replace the weldment of a mount with a workpiece. The mount is part of a designer light and 200 of them are manufactured every year. The mount material has been changed from stainless steel 1.4301 to aluminium alloy EN AW 6082. Design modifications have been made to the part to improve its functional properties and reduce machine time when it is made. A semi-finished product from a cold-pressed and drawn round bar according to ČSN EN 755 – 1 was determined and its size was calculated. The degree of material usage was then determined, as was consumption of the material for the year’s production, which amounts to 6 bars 3 metres long. Machinery from the company’s portfolio was proposed for the modified part. The majority of the part is produced on a KL 285 CNC turning centre. Appropriate machining tools were chosen for the selected machines. The work includes the complete technological production process as well as the CNC programs for machining the part. They were created directly at the machine using the Sinumerik 828D control system, specifically its Shopturn superstructure. After debugging the program, the necessary machining tools were placed as appropriate in the machine. Prototypes were then made to verify that the technology was designed correctly and that the parts were manufacturable.
Design of production technology of a planetary gearbox carrier
Skopalová, Simona ; Dvořáková, Jana (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the technological design of the production of the carrier of the planetary gearbox. The thesis describes the used production technologies, which include turning and milling. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on the technological design of the production of a part from a semi-finished product in the form of a bar and forging, the choice of machine and tool equipment and technological-economic evaluation. At the end of the thesis, these variants are compared and evaluated.
Cyclists perception in road traffic
Janošíková, Denisa ; Belák, Michal (referee) ; Bucsuházy, Kateřina (advisor)
This thesis deals with cyclist behavior in real road traffic — the thesis aimed specifically at visual perception of the situation behind the cyclist before turning and lane changing. The cyclist's behavior before turning and lane changing is analyzed concerning visual perception, the time of head-turning, and signaling the direction change. The distance from the intersection, where these actions began, was also evaluated. The measurement was conducted in real rod traffic in the Valašské Klobouky town. The average times necessary for visual inspection of the situation behind the cyclist ranged from 0.97 seconds to 1.50 seconds. The average values of the distance from the intersection, where signaling of the direction change began, ranged from 41 m to 51 m. Results can be used in the field of accident analysis or education.
Proposal for rationalization of production technology of a bronze part
Konůpka, Tomáš ; Kolomý, Štěpán (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a proposal for rationalization of production technology of part made of bronze material CuSn12. Firstly, the manufactured component and the current state of production, including machine times, are described in detail. In the following part, the manufacturing technologies used are described, including turning, drilling and milling. In the next part, the proposal of the production rationalization and the analysis of the time consumption of each operation is described in detail. The last part of the thesis deals with a technical-economic evaluation, including a comparison of the current and rationalised situation. Finally, the achieved objectives and the contribution of the proposal to practical application are summarized.
Women behavior in road traffic
Gajdůšková, Vendula ; Belák, Michal (referee) ; Bucsuházy, Kateřina (advisor)
This thesis is focused on women's behavior in road traffic, specifically the visual perception of the situation behind the vehicle before initiating, during, and after completing the selected driving maneuvers. Based on the analysis of the current state, experimental measurements were proposed to be conducted in real traffic conditions in Zlín and its surrounding area. The visual perception during the analysis of the situation behind the vehicle, eye movement strategies, and their durations were analyzed. The average fixation durations ranged from 0.28 seconds to 0.47 seconds. The results showed that the longest fixation durations were recorded when stopping before an intersection and the shortest when turning right. The study also revealed differences in eye movement strategies and behavior between men and women. It was shown that women focus more on the situation in front of the vehicle than on the situation behind it. The results of this work can be utilized in the analysis of road crashes and contribute to the improvement of driving school training.
Design of production technology of an aluminum alloy flange
Vrbka, Tomáš ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to create a technological procedure for producing a flange, including subsequent instructions and select suitable tools, gauges, and machine parameters necessary for its production. One piece of flange was produced. The material of the flange is aluminium alloy EN AW-2017A. The flange is part of the diesel pump and has the priority function of sealing and guiding the pump camshaft. The flange was produced on a one machine DMG Mori CLX 450 universal CNC lathe on one clamping. To verify the functionality of the design, a 3D model of the flange was first created and printed. A technological procedure for producing the component was made, and a CNC program was created for the machine. Subsequently, the actual production of the part was carried out. For production, a rod with a diameter of 80 mm was used and fed to a length of 40 mm. Turning technology was used for machine the face, grooves, outer and inner contours. Milling was used for the recesses for the bolts and drilling was used for the holes. Iscar tools were selected for turning, and Hoffmann Group tools were chosen for milling and drilling. After production, the important dimensions were measured by using Mitutoyo and Bowers gauges and a Mahr roughness gauge.
