Heinrich Schliemann: autobiography

On January 6, 2022, is 200 years have passed since the birth of Heinrich Schliemann. He is called the Founder of Mycenaean archeology, archaeologist-amateur, gold digger, impostor, and even a charlatan. Schliemann was born in a small Prussian township but lived an extraordinarily bright life, the ultimate success of which was the excavations of ancient Troy and Mycenae. Heinrich Schliemann considered himself this not only fate but he felt that he was born for this purpose. Is it so? Does the "Dream of Troy" have its roots in Heinrich's childhood? Which of what Schliemann wrote about himself can be trusted, and which is deception, exaggeration, or adoption? The thesis dedicates to the historical and philological analysis of all autobiographies of Heinrich Schliemann to bring all known biographical information to a common denominator, filtering out mystifications and obvious borrowings, separating real facts from embellishments and hyperbole as well. Significance of the Prague vineyards for tourism

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the significance of vineyards in Prague for tourism. Its aim is to measure knowledge of the Prague vineyards, their purpose, growing wine in Prague and the existence of the only preserved, still viable, vineyard Salabka which is the oldest extant vineyard in the area of Troja and the largest vineyard in Prague. The objective of this thesis is also the evaluation of the current significance of some vineyards and the analysis of the vineyard Salabka.

Marketing analysis of development conditions of tourism in city quarter Troja

This bachelor thesis was compiled by request of the mayor of city quarter Troja. Its aim is to analyze Troja's cultural and natural potential and to point out neglected places of interest, so far standing in shadow of Prague ZOO, Botanic garden and Castle Troja. The main purpose of the thesis is to offer particular possibilities for improving the level of promotion of individual objects and thereby disperse visitors all over the territory. The concept and length of the thesis were adjusted to submitter's requirements; therefore there is no usual division into theoretical and analytical part. It consists of several chapters analyzing Troja from different points of view: cultural and natural heritage, sport and recreation possibilities, transport infrastructure, the level and quality of accommodation and food and beverage facilities and finally from the viewpoint of promotion. Each section contains pregnant SWOT analysis and particular recommendations after introduction to the individual issue.
