Energy-saving detached house at the Zaječí hora
Habrún, Ján ; Doležalová, Jana (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to design compact house for family with efficient orientation to maximise daylight in living spaces and with efficiently used energy including renewable sources. It is located in Brno – Sadová in new development area. This energy-saving detached house is two-storey building with attached garage, both with flat sedum roof. It is without cellar, so utility room is attached next to the garage and the position of this room is designed with consideration to minimize lengths of connections. On the ground floor is situated bathroom, WC, storage room, kitchen connected with living room and dining room, so it’s a social zone. On the first floor are two child’s rooms, bedroom, bathroom and study and that is a private zone. The vertical structures are masonry, made of aerated concrete blocks insulated by the ETICS system. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of prestressed reinforced concrete. Part of documentation is aimed for building services. The main part includes heating system, another services like ventilation and rainwater management are designed as a concept. The building is designed with air-to-water heat pump as the main source of heating and preparing domestic hot water. The heat will be distributed throughout the building by floor heating. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery is designed as ventilation system. The documentation also includes Energy Performance Certificate of the building.
Single-family house U kříže
Habrún, Dominik ; Sukop, Lukáš (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to design a single-family house located in Rozdrojovice. The thesis has two parts. The first part contains architectural and structural designs. The building has two-floor and attached one-floor garage. The building and the garage have a flat roof. The main entrance is oriented to North-West. A social zone of the house (living room connected to kitchen), study, bathroom, toilet, garage and utility room are situated on the first floor. A private zone comprising master bedroom, two bedrooms, dressing room, bathroom and toilet are situated on the second floor. The building is based on plain concrete foundation strips. The walls are masonry made of ceramic blocks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of in-situ reinforced concrete. The second part of the thesis contains the design of selected building services. Heating of the building and provision of hot water are ensured by air-water heat pump. Ventilation will be provided by an air handling unit with heat recovery. On the plot, there is a rainwater collection tank, which will be used for irrigation purposes. Part of the thesis is also the Energy Performance Certificate of the building. The single-family house falls into category A – exceptionally energy-efficient.

Family house
Smolicová, Miriam ; Smolková Mizerová, Lenka (referee) ; Smolka, Radim (advisor)
The aim for this bachelor work is design of modern passive detached house. Vision for this design is proving that even luxury villas can be in passive standard. It is three storey house with flat roof part of which it’s walkable and part green roof. The basement includes game room and utility room. In first floor we have main lobby, lavatory, living room with dining room, kitchen, pantry, hall, laundry room, bathroom, two kid’s rooms, main bedroom, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. On second floor there’s only studio and lavatory. Load bearing elements are walls from sand-lime bricks, floor and roof slabs from prestressed concrete panels. This building is based on foundation strips from reinforced concrete. eliminary designs of building services are mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, in which design is focused on amount of circulated air with added scheme of pipe installations, sanitary installations, which consist of scheme of plumbing and sanitary sewer pipes. Design of building services also consisted of simple design of main circuit break and photovoltaic panels. In more detailed design is design of rain water reuse with rain water tanks for accumulation and infiltration. Main design of building services is heating. It’s designed underfloor heating and radiators which will be powered by heat pump air-water. Domestic hot water is heated with heat pump and electric immersion heater as auxiliary source. All components such as hot water cylinder and expansion tank are placed in utility room in basement. This design meets criteria for grade A in energy performance certificate.
