Burnout syndrome in relation to interpersonal values and meaningfulness

The topic of this diploma thesis is the issue of burnout syndrome in correlation to meaningfulness and interpersonal values in a population of general nurses at psychiatric wals and subsequently in the population of unemployed people. Main goal of this research was to determine the degree of correlation between meaningfulness and individual dimensions of burnout syndrome and to identify which interpersonal values correlate with individual dimensions of burnout syndrome in a positive or negative way. Theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to definition of burnout syndrome, meaningfulness and interpersonal values. For empirical part of this research we have used Maslach Burnout Invertory recognizing the degree of burnout syndrome in following dimensions: emotional and physical exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment. Furthermore, Scale of life meaningfulness (Škála životnej zmysluplnosti) has been used to assess a degree of meaningfulness and SIPO inventory to assess interpersonal orientation and values. Results of this study prove the relation between burnout syndrome and meaningfulness. Barriers to Continuing Education of the Unemployed in the Age Groups Endangered in the Labor Market

Tomáš Kolomazník Název práce: Bariéry dalšího vzdělávání nezaměstnaných z hlediska věku ohrožených na trhu práce Abstract The thesis "Barriers to continuing education of the unemployed in the age groups endangered in the labor market" examines the barriers to continuing education in unemployed groups of age 15-25 and 50-64 in the Czech Republic, both of which are often referred to as disadvantaged in the labor market. These age groups are characterized by a low rate of participation in continuing education, while having very specific needs and problems. The aim of this work is to identify the most frequent barriers in the education of the above-mentioned groups, to find out the differences between them and to explore their sociodemographic predictors. For the statistical analysis, data from the Kooperace research conducted by the Fund of Further Education was used. The first chapter defines the concepts of adult education, disadvantaged groups in labor market and introduces different concepts of barriers to education. Furthermore, the most important surveys of adult education in the Czech Republic are presented. The development of unemployment in a region

Bachelors thesis is focused on the subject: The development of unemployment in the selected region, specifically in the region of Kutná Hora. The unemployment is a problem of the whole society, every economy and it is one of the most monitored phenomena. The theoretical part is focused on concepts, such as unemployment, labour market, determining who is employed and who is unemployed. In the work are defined types of unemployment - by causes, voluntariness and the length of duration. Other topics in the theoretical part are causes and consequences of unemployment, measuring of unemployment, employment policy. In the work are described the employment office and economic crisis of 2009. The practical part deals with basic characteristics of the region Kutná Hora, the development of unemployment in this region and comparison to other regions of Central Bohemian region and with the region itself. The work includes basic information about Central-Bohemian region, how high is the unemployment rate in the region and follow-up comparison of the region to the whole Czech Republic. In the practical part is included the development of expenditure of the state employment policy. The conclusion of the work includes suggestions of possible solutions of reducing unemployment in a region Kutná Hora.

The history of slum care in Susice untill 1938

The study is engaged in history of slum care in Susice from the 14th century untill 1945. The above mentioned study contains a theoretical part, where I focused on social care in Bohemia, then I brought to your attention the history of Susice and at last my work mentions in detail the history of slum care in Bohemia dated from the first written sources untill 1945. I have chronologically described the developement of individual social institutes, foundations and associations, which devoted to the care of poor and sick in Susice.
