Jurák, Štěpán ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a energy-saving detached house located on the outskirts in the village of Šumice, located of Uherské Hradiště district. The house consists of two floors, with a second-floor step-in terrace, a flat sedum roof on the top, and a one-car garage. The main entrance is facing the northwest. The social area of the house is on the first floor, including a dressing room, a utility room, a bathroom, a toilet, a study room, and a living room that is connected to the kitchen and dining room. The quiet zone is on the second floor, consisting of two children's rooms, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bathroom, a toilet, and a small storage room. The house is based on concrete foundation strips. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete slabs. The building is heated by the air-water heat pump. The main heating system is a floor heating system combined with radiators and towel radiators. The utility room is designed with mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery unit. Exhaust and intake are located on the north facade. Fresh air is supplied in living rooms and exhaust air suction in the garage, bathrooms, and walk-in closet. The building is connected to the water mains and the combined sewer. In the heat pump is installed a hot water cylinder. Stormwater accumulated in the tank then used for toilet flushing and watering the garden.
Small apartment building
Kalčík, Aleš ; Bečkovský, David (referee) ; Vystrčil, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of construction documentation for a small apartment building. The building is located on an almost perfectly flat area near the Morava River in Napajedla. The structure of the building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor, which is completely hidden below the terrain. The underground floor contains a technical room and communal garages. The above-ground floors contain a total of 12 apartment units and accessory spaces for these apartments. The estimated number of residents of the building is 34. None of the apartment units are designed to be barrier-free. However, access to the building is barrier-free, and the parking spaces include designated spots for the handicapped. The substructure is founded on piles, followed by monolithic reinforced concrete structures. These reinforced concrete structures transition to traditional masonry construction in the first above-ground floor, using a combination of ceramic blocks and monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling structures. The roof of the building is intended to be a flat green roof with extensive vegetation.
Family house with cinema room
Kurka, Štěpán ; Pobucká, Slávka (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
As part of the bachelor's thesis, project documentation was developed at the construction implementation level within the partially required scope. The documentation includes a project for a family house located in the northern part of the village of Kobeřice in Silesia. The new building is integrated into an already developed area of the village and is set into the terrain, taking advantage of the sloping land for the operational solution. The building is designed as a single dwelling unit for permanent residence by five people, with technical facilities and garage space. Access to the dwelling unit is provided from the west side to the first above-ground floor. From a material perspective, the building is designed using predominantly ceramic blocks for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing vertical structures. The building envelope is insulated with an ETICS system to reduce energy consumption. The construction is based on monolithic foundation strips with a base concrete slab. The ceiling structures in the building are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is roofed with two flat single-layer roofs at different height levels. The roof at the lower level is designed with a vegetative surface finish.

The buiding is designed brick with reinforced concrete ceilings. Perimeter walls on the 1st – 3rd floor is designed ceramic brick blocks th. 300 mm with contact thermal insulation system ETICS th. 200mm, which will be equipped with silicone plaster 1,5mm. Perimeter walls on the underground floor is designed permanent shuttering DITTON 30 th. 300mm, filled with concrete C20/25 XC1 and by steel B500B insulated with extruded polystyrene XPS th. 160mm. Internal load-bearing masonry wall is designed with acoustic ceramic brick blocks th. 250 mm. Partitions are designed from acoustic partition walls. On the ceilings is a hardwood flooring because of excellent acoustic characteristics. The roof is designed as a flat green roof with extensive vegetation and with thermal isolation of minera wool and with waterproofing layer made of bituminous modified SBS strips laid in two layers. Balcony railing is designed aluminous with safety glass paneling.

The survey and assessment of stone construction
Šarounová, Pavla ; Bažant,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on applying the process of the assessment of existing structures from ČSN ISO 13822 on the evaluation of stone constructions. These are seen here as masonry structures, but with some specifics. Since the source of this specifics results from the natural origin of the building material and significant age of preserved stone structures, to its evaluation also the knowledge of geology and history of architecture is necessary. For this reason, this thesis contains also the geological overview of rocks used for building and describes characteristics of stone structures from different architectural periods. The aim of the practical part is to describe preliminary investigation of an existing stone construction on the example of the stone bridge in Dobromilice.

The subject of this master‘s thesis is the processing of the design documentation for an object at the realization of the construction phase for the object of the office building in Pelhřimov. The final object is a building with 3 above floors and 1 underground floor. The foundation structure is designed in the form of foundation strips. The walls are made of ceramic blocks and the walls on the underground floor are made of reinforced concrete. Ceiling constructions are designed as cast-in-place reinforced slabs. The object is roofed with a pitched roof, the load-bearing structure of the roof consists of nailed timber truss. The building of the adjacent single-storey building of cold storage facility is roofed with a warm green flat roof. The external thermal insulation of the building is considered as the external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). Energy for heating and domestic hot water is provided by heat pumps. Ventilation in the building is provided by an air conditioning unit. Rainwater from the roof is collected in an infiltration polder located on the property. The thesis is processed mainly in the software AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MS Word, MS Excel and DEKSOFT.
