Creation of a model of the hydrogen filling station network in the Czech Republic
Kotrla, Tomáš ; Bilík, Martin (referee) ; Maxera, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of hydrogen vehicles, as one of the alternatives to classic vehicles with internal combustion engines. The work first researches the functioning of hydrogen technology, its infrastructure and influences of the third parties, with the aim of taking a closer look of its future development. This mainly depends on the research of the future number of hydrogen vehicles. Sufficient capacity of fuel must be ensured for them. That’s why a sufficient amount of hydrogen must be produced, which will be distributed to filling stations. There also needs to be enough of them. The main goal of the work is to design a distribution network model that will be able to ensure these requirements. The results of the work are verified using simulation modeling to verify the functionality of the proposed distribution network model.
Principles and Solutions for Green Infrastructure Elements in European Cities
Kotrla, Jakub ; Marek, Martin
Green infrastructure is one of the most important and most addressed types of infrastructure in the last decade, also in relation to addressing the climate crisis and the related stormwater management and drought impacts. However, cities in Europe approach the application of green infrastructure elements or the application of the whole water management system very differently, which is also due to the very structure of urban development. The aim of this paper is to present the principles of green infrastructure solutions on the examples of several European cities and in the context of the Czech Republic and to specify where implementation is insufficient or what are the specific problems why implementation is not successful.
The Concept of Virtualization Extension for BVV Trade Fairs Brno
Svída, Dominik ; Dudek, Tomáš (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
In my bachelor´s thesis I deal with an issue of extension of virtual platform in a great company. In the first part of my thesis I work with familiarization with the company and analysis of the actual IT structure. The second part is theoretically focused on area of virtualization, reasons for usage and types of virtualization. Furthermore, I describe the most used platforms from Microsoft and VMware companies, in addition I compare them. The last part of my thesis is about a proposal of the most suitable solution and a total evaluation of benefits for the company.
Analysis of influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids collective employment on distribution network
Přikryl, Ondřej ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids collective employment into normal operations and its impact on the character of current distribution grid. It contains an analysis and evaluation of these vehicles within the current grid and the smart grid networks, and the calculations of deployment and the influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids.
MERINA 2.0
Ambrosová, Katarína ; Goluchová, Martina (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
The aim is to create a vision for the future development of a problematic brownfield near the city center of Trenčín. The territory of former MERINO textile factory next to the military barracks, park and railway station is for long neglected, but still valuable in terms of urbanism, industrial heritage and new urban potential. The project will focus on the realistic spatial restructuring of the area and on the search for its new functional content.
Technical infrastructure in cities
Hladůvková, Blanka ; Hluštík, Petr (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis consists of three parts: Theory, calculation and project. Theory deals with possibilities of laying utilities into the ground, collectors, technical corridors, technical cannals, basement manifolds and to the overhead lines. Furthermore, the issue of coordination between utilities and greenery both in the Czech Republic and abroad is also addresed. The calculation part includes water demand, rainwater quantity and waste water balance calculations. Project contains the accompanying report, technical report and drawings. It focuses on the Jircháře street located in Staré Brno, where a new apartment building has already been built, for which new relocation of utilities from Jircháře street to Kopečná street had to be made.

Analysis of vehicular ad hoc network
Varmus, Pavol ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to study VANET (vehicular ad hoc network), to describe the theory of this networks and describe attributes of these networks and to set the starting point for practical part. Thesis includes VANETs possibilities, its signal transportation and description of routing protocols. Another goal was to familiarize program NS-3 and set up simulation models in its interface. The main output of the practical part is program which simulates vehicle movement in Brno city and set the communication module which is adapted to fulfill the most realistic transmission capabilities. Practical part is divided to two parts. The goal of the first one was to simulate basic communication in theorized unrealistic scenario and the second part was the more realistic scenario. Overall, throughout the practical part was tested a variety of attributes, such as mobility models, standards, routing protocols and other parameters that provided diversity in final results. All the results, which consisted of summary of basic transmission capabilities and reclassification of the applicability of those technologies in real world, are discussed in the summary of the simulations output.
