Interactive web application for displaying of rainfall maps
Soboňa, Jakub ; Kohout, David (referee) ; Bubniak, Milan (advisor)

3D Photo Slideshow Using OpenGL
Ondrejíček, Marián ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Seeman, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design a photo slideshow in 3D space using OpenGL and to implement functional application. Also there is description of Qt toolkit, which was used to design graphical user interface of the program. Furthermore there are explained basics of quaternion interpolation, which is the core of animation and camera system. The second part describes practical realization and each part of the project in details. Application was successfully implemented. In the end, the results are discussed, including possibilities of future development.
OpenGL Molecules Visualization
Hort, Pavel ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis considers atom`s attributes, which affects shape of molecules. It describes rules that are basic for molecule creation. This text features basic attributes and rules, which affects the final shape of molecule. Next part of this text explains several ways to display molecule. Following parts of this thesis describes several ways how to store and represent atom and molecules in computer technology along with solution of these problems that are used for this thesis.
Real-Time Cloud Rendering
Kučera, Vít ; Pečiva, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Clouds are ubiquitous and ever-changing feature of the outdoors. They are an integral factor in Earth's weather systems. Component of water circulation in a nature and a strong indicator of weather patterns and changes. Clouds are important component of the visual simulation of any outdoor scene, but the complexity of cloud formation, dynamics, and light interaction makes cloud simulation and rendering difficult in real time. In an interactive flight simulation, users would like to fly in and around realistic, volumetric clouds. I Present, two main ways of representation cloud in computer graphic, where one way use for modelling Perlin noise and second one use for modelling fluid dynamic system.

Aplikácia modelu CAPM na evrópsky akciový trh
Laurová, Terézia
Laurová, T. Application of model CAPM on European stock market. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. The fundamental of this thesis is application of CAPM model on European stock market. Diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first one is the theoretical part, which is describing the basics of CAPM model, which serves for better understanding of the model and portfolio management. In the second, practical part, there will be solved the basic characteristics of model. There will be also created portfolios in Microsoft Excel. Finally there will be evaluated the veracity of the specified hypothesis and comparison of incurred portfolios.
Single-cell RNA sequencing in leukemia
Brodská, Johana ; Froňková, Eva (advisor) ; Obr, Adam (referee)
Leukemia is a cancer of hematopoietic cells affecting the whole organism. Currently, there are many treatment options for all disease types, but it is still not always possible to fully cure the patient. The single-cell RNA sequencing method offers a new insight into the heterogeneity of both cancerous and non-cancerous cells in the leukemic environment. This thesis aims to briefly present the method and its history and to highlight current findings about leukemia obtained with the help of it. Keywords leukemia (AML, CML, ALL, CLL), sequencing, scRNA-seq, cells, transcriptome, treatment Okomentoval(a): [o1]: To the reader se v odborné literatuře moc nepoužívá
The role of exosomes in chronic myeloid leukemia
Březinová, Lenka ; Krijt, Matyáš (advisor) ; Holada, Karel (referee)
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles of a size range 30-150 nm whose function has been explored in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) due to their role in proliferation of CML cells, remodelling the bone marrow niche, angiogenesis and resistance to treatment with tyrosin- kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Although BCR-ABL kinase is effectively targeted by TKIs, 20-30 % of patients remain resistant to treatment. Resistance of CML cells to TKIs treatment is supported by exosomes. Exosomes transport proteins, nucleic acids, chemokines and small molecules that stimulate anti-apoptotic or suppress pro-apoptotic processes in leukemic cells. Anti-apoptotic processes are especially enhanced by upregulated protein levels: TGF- β1, USP6 and FGF2 and various types of RNA: miR-365, miR-21, Hsa_circ_0058493 and mRNA for BCR-ABL. In contrast leukemic cells tend to reduce the number of pro-apoptotic molecules, including miR-320, miR-328 and miR-146a-5p. Leukemic cells modify the bone marrow microenvironment through exosomes in the way to support their survival and also in order to adjust expression of adhesion and pro- angiogenic molecules. An important role in those processes play miR-126, miR-210 and miR- 92a. Neither the number of processes affected by CML exosomes nor their potential use in the treatment of CML is...
Proteomic analysis in hematology: Identification of alfa2-macroglobulin as a specific carrier for the hormone hepcidin and proteomic analysis of the of leukemic K562 cell differentiation induced by sodium butyrate.
Pešlová, Gabriela ; Vyoral, Daniel (advisor) ; Krijt, Jan (referee) ; Suttnar, Jiří (referee)
The thesis "The proteomic analysis in hematology: Identification of alfa2- macroglobulin as a specific carrier for the hormone hepcidin and proteomic analysis of the leukemic K562 cell differentiation induced by sodium butyrate" describes proteomic approaches, used for the identification and functional characterisation of proteins, which are binding and transporting the iron metabolism regulating hormone hepcidin. Proteomic techniques are also exploited for the identification of proteins, participating in erythroid differentiation of the model cell line K562. In the first section of the thesis, non-denaturing, native techniques, such as chromatography and native electrophoresis are used, in the second section, the control and butyrate - induced K562 cell proteomes are compared using the classical 2D - SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis approach. The methods, described in the thesis are broadening the spectrum of available techniques in experimental hematology. The results, described in this thesis together with the accompanying published manuscripts broaden our knowledge in the function of proteins of iron metabolism and proteins, functioning in erythroid differentiation. Key words: proteomic analysis, hepcidin, alfa2-macroglobulin, iron metabolism, CML, K562, sodium butyrate
