Visiting field service - part of nursing practice in a general practitioner's clinic
SŮVOVÁ, Nikola
This bachelor thesis deals with the visiting field service as part of the work of a nurse in an adult general practitioner's office. The visiting field service is relevant for elderly patients, patients with chronic diseases, disabled patients or patients in recovery. It carries with it a host of benefits, keeping the family together, keeping the patient in a home-like environment, providing infusion therapy, and performing wound dressings. The visiting field service provided by a nurse from an adult general practitioner's office is quicker than home care, the nurse communicates directly with the physician who assigns the appointments. The aim of this thesis is to determine the awareness of patients from adult general practitioners' offices of the possibility of using a visiting field service by a nurse in the home setting. And to find out the benefits of a visiting nurse outreach service and the perceptions of patients from adult general practitioners' offices. In this bachelor thesis, quantitative research is used, interview method is used and self-administered questionnaire is used as a technique. The research findings show that there is little awareness of the visiting outreach service. However, patients who have used the visiting field service evaluate it positively and perceive it as beneficial to their health condition. The practical output of this thesis is an information leaflet to raise patient awareness of the outreach service and to encourage patients to enquire about the service with their general practitioner.
Invisible Layers of Settling Dust
Hrúziková, Petra ; Veselá, Lenka (referee) ; Janů, Valentýna (advisor)
The diploma thesis "Invisible Layers of Settling Dust" dissects the myth of cleanliness and dirt together with a parallel of civilization diseases and public health through the medium of household chores and cleaning. The space installation provides a way of thinking about the collective body as a plurality of identity - it counts on the variability of meanings, with processes of disconnecting and reconnecting the collective body always anew. Drawing from the philosophical concepts of many authors, this work offers one of the possibilities of their interpretation in an exhibition space, with its condition being the creation of a unique situation consisting of the presence of bodies shedding the coherence of their own identity and creating temporary micro-identities.
Pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period from the men´s point of view.
POCHOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of men's perspectives on pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part characterizes the period of pregnancy, describing the changes in a woman's body that occur during this time, as well as the diagnosis of pregnancy. It lists and characterizes the examinations carried out in prenatal counseling. It discusses the care of a midwife and the role of men during pregnancy. The work then focuses on the various stages of childbirth and the care of a midwife for the laboring woman and accompanying man during childbirth. It also describes the postpartum period and what happens to women during this time. Lastly, the concept of bonding is mentioned and clarified. For the practical part of the thesis, a qualitative research study was chosen. The aim was to find out how men perceive the period of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum in their partners. Based on this aim, three research questions were established. The first question focuses on how men perceive the period of pregnancy in their partner. The second question explores how men perceive the period of childbirth in their partner. The final question addresses how men perceive the postpartum period in their partner. For data collection in the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, a semi-structured interview was used. The research sample consisted of 10 men who have experience with their partner's pregnancy and attended the birth. These men were informed about maintaining anonymity. For this reason, they are referred to as M1 to M10. The men verbally expressed their agreement to participate in the interview and data processing. They did not agree to have an audio recording made during the interview. Therefore, the data obtained was literally transcribed into a computer and subsequently analyzed using the method of coding and text coloring. Four basic and pre-prepared questions were asked to the men. Additional questions were asked if needed for clarification of information. The interviews took place in the informants' homes or in a café. After processing and evaluating the obtained data, a total of 3 categories and 17 subcategories were created. The subcategories provide detailed descriptions of the results and information obtained from the research survey. From the research, it was found that men felt good during their partner's pregnancy. The most common changes they noticed in their partners during this time were mood swings, fatigue, increased food consumption, as well as nausea or weight gain. Men did not come into contact with a midwife during their partner's pregnancy, as they did not accompany their partner to prenatal appointments or attend childbirth classes together. Therefore, they primarily obtained information about pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period from the internet. Surprisingly, not every man evaluated the approach and care provided by midwives to the mother and himself positively during childbirth. Additionally, men perceived the postpartum period as unproblematic. The results of this bachelor thesis can be used to improve the awareness of men, for example in antenatal classes.

Vinklárková, Tereza ; Vráblíková,, Lenka (referee) ; Smutná, Martina Drozd (advisor)
The Spell Of The Unspoken Promise reflects a lack of presentation, a critical approach and insight into psychosomatic problems in the art education and society based on a capitalist economic system. It touches the issue of abuse of power in the non-hierarchical relationship in the institutional environment of art education, but also on a personal level. It records a gradual return to listening to own body and chronologically reveals events that had a direct effect on its impaired condition. To what extent and in what way does the body box reflects traumas, emotional experiences and fears? Through video essay, elements of poetic narration and textile objects, the work opens up a deeply sensitive subject reflecting the mechanical processes of the body. There are also overlaps with elements of holistic medicine and healing.
Long - Term care
Filipová, Kateřina ; Richter Adamson, Kristina (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
What is LDN? Where is? How did it come about? This is how architecture can affect him. Even though it's not a common topic to talk about. It is important to focus on it and because even though it doesn't concern us now, it could. The work is about helping people get back on their feet. It is about showing how the environment and the location of the building itself can have a big impact on people. Currently, LDN centers are most often located as part of a hospital. But the ward itself is no different from the hospital. The space for healing should move towards life. And not on the edge of the hospital. He should try to reintegrate. Give people a reason to fight and show them what they are fighting. Involve them, those who can provide a program in which they could participate, but also those who can no longer. Give them space where they can go and connect them with health. To be constantly part of the action. During the work on this project, a design of LDN was created in Žďár nad Sázavou, which is located in a public building together with the rehabilitation center. It works on a system that tries to reintegrate patients. And make it easier for them to recover.
