Vyhodnocení emisí amoniaku z chovu drůbeže ve vybraném zemědělském podniku
HES, Adam
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the assessment of ammonia emissions from agricultural operations and their potential impact on the environment and human health. The aim of the work is to analyze the factors affecting ammonia emissions and propose possible measures to reduce them. To achieve this goal, measurements of ammonia emissions were carried out using specialized sensors located in different places of the farm. At the same time, information was collected on the procedures and technologies used in animal husbandry and fertilizer storage. The analyzes carried out showed that the main sources of ammonia emissions in the analyzed agricultural company MTD Ústrašice are the breeding of farm animals and the application of fertilizers to the fields. We identified factors such as the type and size of animal husbandry, storage methods, and fertilizer application techniques that affect ammonia emission rates. Based on our findings, we propose the implementation of measures aimed at reducing ammonia emissions, such as optimizing fertilizer storage technologies, modifying procedures and using alternative animal husbandry methods. These measures should contribute to the protection of the environment and human health in the given agricultural enterprise.
The gas level measuring device with a capillary made by 3-D printing
Halva, Ondřej ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the experimental design, manufacture, and testing of a 3D printed prototype of a capillary. The aim is to introduce the reader to the issue of 3D printing related to the manufacture of capillaries and focus on chemiresist sensors. Furthermore, the features of microcontroller Atmel Atmega2560 and its applications in sensory technology will be described. In the second part of the thesis, the capillary for sample pre-processing with an output to a gas measuring device with an electrochemical sensor is designed and produced. For the control of the device, the Atmel Atmega 2560 microcontroller is to be used and the device must enable data transfer to PC. The possible applications of the capillary are to be evaluated.
Simulation of acid water stripping in refinery operations
Niesner, Jakub ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Mhaini, Fadi (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on comparison of results from simulations programs ProMax and PRO/II. Both simulation models were based on a sour water stripping unit according to a project of CBI Lummus s.r.o. The thesis also includes a theroretical part deals with technology of sour water stripping.
Methods for separation of ammonia from waste water
Zendulka, Štěpán ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
The main concern of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of methods for ammonia separation from wastewater that have been discovered so far. The elementary differentiation is based on technological principle – biological and physical-chemical. Also, the thesis examines all methods from the „conventional or progressive“ point of view, which shows if the method is commonly used or is still in an experimental set up. Furthermore the focus is on classification of methods on „eliminating ammonia“ or „recovering ammonia“. This is closely connected to the economical aspects of each method which is also one of concerns of this thesis. Some of the methods are described with further details as there has been a recent progress and upgrading of these methods. It is air stripping and membrane methods. More attention is also provided to bioelectrochemical systems as it is proclaimed as one of the most suitable candidates for usage in the future. Last part of this work compares selected methods in terms of the ammonia elminiation or recovery efficiency and also power demand.
The gas monitoring equipment in breeding of edible insects
Chlumecký, Karel ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with monitoring of edible insects. The most monitured element will be dangerous gases. In the first part will be discussed the life cycle of edible insects and associated ecological consequences. Another part is description of measuring non-electric variables. This knowledge will be useful in design of breeding box in practical part of bachelor’s thesis. Design contains selections and description of used components and their locations on breeding box. Breeding box is managed by microcontroller ESP32 from Espressif family. Practical part contains first results of measuring and program for microcontroller. The results are in the form of a graph. Breeding box can be used for most terrarium animals.
Disposable sensor of ammonium for intelligent packaging
Nentvichová, Aneta ; Kořínková, Radka (referee) ; Veselá, Mária (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the problematic of the smart packaging and deals with the preparation of disposable ammonia sensors/indicators and the subsequent color measurement of prepared sensors/indicators using the CIE L* a* b* color space. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on active and intelligent packaging, using ammonia sensors/indicators. The emphasis is placed on the main components of the sensor/indicator, i.e., chitosan as a polymer and curcumin as a dye. The theoretical part also includes the problematic of meat degradation, which plays a very important role in this thesis. The experimental part was divided into two parts. The first part was to prepare layers that will respond in different colors based on the concentrations of ammonia. Prepared layers were sensitive to ammonia across all concentrations, and based on this result, ascorbic acid was applied to compositions to achieve a calibration retention of the selected amount of ammonia. The second minor part of the experiment was the application of selected layers to packages with real meat.
Prevention of Major Accidents and Underlimited Risk Sorces with Ammonia
Labaj, David ; Mašek, Ivan (referee) ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (advisor)
In few picked sources where ammonia occurs in an under-limited amount ,according to valid legislation, there will its outflow be modeled in various atmospheric conditions and its toxicity will be compared with other mostly used toxic substances. The danger for people living in the surroundings of under-limited sources will be evaluated from the results and the way for better safeness will be suggested.
Study of utilization of fly ashes from the flue gas denitrification processes
Sklenářová, Radka ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of utilization of the fly ashes arising from a high-temperature combustion contaminated by a denitrification process. The main aim of this work is to propose the most effective application of these fly ashes to achieve as the ecological as economical requirements, as it is the most considerated theme of the last days.
Methods for separation of ammonia from waste water
Bajzík, Martin ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the methods of separation of Ammonia from the wastewater. The introduction of the thesis defines Ammonia, its characteristics, natural sources, production and utilization of it. The main part of the thesis describes and rates the twelve methods used for the separation of Ammonia from the wastewater. There is a description of a principle, the advantages and disadvantages of the methods in consideration of their utilization in practice, by each technology. In the experimental part of the thesis are described the outcomes of efficiency measurements of the stripping device and their comparison with the results stated in scientific literature. The thesis represents the primar overview and introduction into the theme for laymen and experts, who are unfamiliar with the topic and would like to examine it.
Innovation of experimental e-nose for odor analysis in the food industry
Janošíková, Pavla ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with innovation of the program for processing data acquired from sensory device known as electronic nose. The work introduces possibilities and utilization of a electronic nose. Furthermore it introduces some of the best known analysis for odor recognition that are used mainly in the food industry focusing on principal component analysis. The work focus on creation of mobile application that process data from a simple electronic nose and on improvement of ammonia and CO2 measurement accuracy.
