The Reconstruction, and the Re-use of the St. Thomas Yard in Brno

The complex of „Svatotomassky dvor“ creates after its reconstruction a place for social, cultural and sport activities.This object is an exemplary joinder of modern technologies and historical elements with the emphasis on its own traditional handcrafted construstion. The spirit of this place leads a visitor to demur to precise work of our antcestors in the contrast with composed modern architecture. The complex is complemented by components of fine architecture (such as pavillon, fountain, …) with undertone and memory of horses which had to be replaced because of new functional utilization. It deals with reconstruction and revitalization of four historical objects. From the constructional point of view it deals with one and two-storeyed objects based on concrete fundaments with bearing walls bricked up from building brick that is fully burnt about total thickness 0,3-0,85m and with wooden roof construction. The roof is covered by burnt tile roofing. The top walls in objects are made of semi-burnt wooden joist construction. Within the frame of reconstruction, predominant part of framework will be preserved.

The aim of the Bachelor’s Thesis is a family house design. The Design Documentation deals with a one-generation family house. This family house is a separately standing building. The building is designed as a newly constructed single-storey family house, partly with basement and with residential attic. The structural system is designed in a walled technology of the HELUZ system – ground bricks “HELUZ FAMILY”. Ceilings are made of prestressed ceiling panels “SPIROLL”. The roof is of the T shape, 2 saddle roofs are mutually perpendicular. The roof is of a higher type, saddle half-hipped roof. The house will be founded on monolithic concrete continuous footing strips.

Thesis "Multifunctional house - RO / 1" is processed in the form of project documentation and all its requirements, which are required by this work. The thesis and its attachments are handled according to applicable laws, standards and regulations. The proposed multi-functional family house is situated on a slightly sloping ground plot. The house has no basement and two floors. The house is covered in part by a gable roof with a slope of 46° and partly from a flat roof with a slope of 1 °.

This is a detached family house in a partially built-up area. The building is situated in the region of Znojmo in the town of Sedlešovice. The building has two floors without cellar. In the ground floor is entrance hall with dressing room, living room and kitchen, study, bathroom and garage. On the second floor are two rooms, bedroom, bathroom, toilet and dressing room. From the hall is the entrance to the terrace. The house is based on the footings of plain concrete and is built from the building system HELUZ with contact insulation system from company ISOVER. The roof is pitched with a inclination of 30 °. Roofing tile is clay TONDACH - FIGARO. Built-up area is 172,93 m2. Also includes is a seminar paper on the topic Anchoring on the tercce railing.

The subject is a detached two-storey family house in Drahlov, in disposition 6 + eating nook, for family of four to six members. The house is situated on location with even ground. The building has a saddle roof over main and also before main part. The core system is a single-layer masonry. Drawing part of the project is designed by software application AutoCAD. Other parts (heat-technical solution, fire-safety solution, computational and design part) are processed using the programs MS Word, MS Excel, Stavební fyzika. The work also includes seminar work on subject sloping roofs.

The theme of bachelor´s thesis is new-building family house with the surgery general practitioner. The residential area is divided for the two separate housing units. One of the apartments is duplex. The Surgery is wheelchair accessible. It has a separate entrance form the north side. The building is set in sloping terrain. It has three floors, it is partly basement and 3NP is solved in the attic. It is a brick building, which is the system POROTHERM with a combination of BTB fittings in the basement. Roofing is solved by a combination gabled and rack roof with a pitch 35° and 15°.
