Analysis of structural unemployment in the district of Jindřichův Hradec

Bachelor thesis focuses on current problems of the labour market in the Czech republic, namely the structural unemployment. The aim of the work will be to analyze the various factors affecting the structural unemployment in the selected region of the CR, finding to what extent it is able to predict the evolution of these factors and what tools to use to reduce structural unemployment. The first part will focus on the fundamental concepts such as supply and demand for labor, the definition and types of unemployment. Also mentioned the state employment policy in the Czech republic and its instruments. In the second part of the general characteristics of the district selected position in the economic and demographic areas, perform the aforementioned analysis, mapping the evolution of unemployment in recent years, the main actors on the demand side of labor, the structure of unemployment (such as age, sex, education) and the structure employment under the sectoral classification of economic activities OKEČ and CZ - NACE (from 1.1.2008). Will be used for the analysis of empirical data from the Statistical Yearbook, literature and data supplied by Labour office.

The resolution of unemployment in district of Rychnov nad Kněžnou

The level of employment of the economically active population is an important indicator of the economic stability of all economically developed states. The unemployment rate is closely linked to the effectiveness of the economy. The active employment policy of state is the instrument aimed to decrease in the unemployment. This bachelor work studies problems of unemployment on the labor market in district of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. It is focused on the progress of unemployment in this district and its solution by the active employment policy. The theoretical part is targeted at the unemployment, the counting of unemployment, the unemployment compensation and the tools used by the active employment policy. The functions of the employment offices and the development of unemployment in each district are the objects of the practical part. This work analyzes the succes of active employment policy in these districts. Based on the results, the active employment policy plays the important role in decrease of the unemployment in the district.
Professional requalification in Prague as a form of active employment policy

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the development of unemployment in the Czech Republic and the display of the types of unemployment in Prague. Hereinafter, I mention the use of financial resources of the structural funds of the European Union and I analyse functioning of professional requalification as one of the instrument of the active employment policy. Considering that the Czech labour market faces high quantity of unemployed people older than 50 years, I introduce a project which was aimed at making these people's return to work easy. I also highlight current drawbacks of the Czech labour market and I propose suggestions on improvement.

The thesis deals with the topic of unemployment, studying the solution lying in the active employment policy. The theoretical part defines the term labour market and unemployment together with its measurement and types. It also outlines the unemployment policy, distinguishing the passive and the active form. The practical part is focused on the Pardubice Region, describing its demographic and economic characteristics. It describes the actual situation on the regional labour market, primarily focusing on the active employment policy in the region, tools being brought to bear and the methods of funding.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the situation in the labour market in the Czech Republic, especially during the period from 2002 to 2009. The theoretical part is focused on notions from the perspective of economic theory and methods that are used during the analysis. The practical part deals with the comparison of selected labour market indicators in the Czech Republic and compares their value with the European Union countries. The greatest attention is paid to the long-term unemployment and the causes of its origin. This part is followed by listed possibilities forsolution which help the state to reduce the number of long-term unemployed,moreover, an alternative of active employment policy tools is provided.

How already results from the title, the aim of this paper is principally to analyse situation in the labour market of Czech republic. In theoretic part I deal about labour market based on the economic theory. Furthermore, I deal about problem of investment in human capital and discrimination at the labour market. Then in analytic part I deal about situation in Czech republic. I analyse wages, unemployment and development from 2002 to 2009. At the end, I compare labour market of the Czech republic and labour market of other states in European union.
Analysis of unemployment in the district of Most

The goal of this work is to analyze the structure of unemployment in district town Most. The unemployment rate in Most is in the long term the highest in the Czech Republic. The most affected groups are graduates from high schools ended with vocational certificate, candidates with basic education from grade schools, disabled persons and people over the age of 50. The work focuses mainly on major causes of unemployment, its development, structure, and also the arrangements of the government to prevent it, meaning so called local active employment policy. Last but not least the work discusses prediction. In the introduction the theoretical bases is going to be discussed. Main terms and structures are going to be explained, especially what is unemployment, the kinds that appear, causes and consequences. After the theoretical introduction practical part is going to follow including previously mentioned analysis of unemployment in the district of Most. To form a conclusion situational analysis, statistics such as time series and data provided by Bureau of labor in Most are going to be used. Also consultations with experts from Bureau in Most are going to be included and research in specialized literature sources.
Active employment policy focused on retraining in Hodonín district

This bachelor thesis focuses on imbalance in the labour market in the Hodonin district which has been the region with relatively high unemployment for a long time. Attention is paid to the effectiveness of active employment policy with a focus on retraining. First in the centre of attention is development on the labour market, the unemployment and its causes and consequences. Further it presents the active employment policy, its goals, instruments and funding. The practical part mainly deals with the tools of active employment policy - the retraining and its cost effectiveness in the fight against unemployment. This bachelor work analyses Hodonin district from the point of view how successful the active employment policy instruments are above all the retraining. The situation analysis and comparative method are used for evaluation of the goal of this work. The purpose of this work is to sum up if this type of education is suitable to fund with aspect of the costs, structure of applicants for retraining and further successfuls placement of the retrainers to labour market.

First part of thesis describes the theoretical basis of theme. The first section relates to legislative regulation of employment area including its development from 2004. The second chapter attends to cooperation possibilities of employers and employment offices. Second part of thesis concentrates on analysis of situation of particular employer - FOXCONN CZ company. The first section of this part describes the company in light of its history, positions and present cooperation with employment offices. The second section characterizes situation on regional employment market including history of local employment office and interview with its employees. The last chapter contains the particulat analysis of present cooperation methods with employment offices, economical view on this problem and final recommendations.
