Powertrain of five -cylinder gasoline radial engine
Vítek, David ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with a design of a powertrain of fice-cylinder gasoline radial engine with assigned main parameters (bore, stroke, etc.). The work is divided into several parts: kinematics of the radial engine, creation of 3D models, force acting on the connecting rods, balancing of the engine. The last part is focused on creating MKP models, stress analysis and determining of fatigue safety of the selected parts.
Design of Experimental One-cylinder Engine with Floating Liner
Svoboda, Radovan ; Svída, David (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this master`s thesis was to design a single-cylinder test engine for measuring of the friction forces between the piston group and the cylinder liner. Main engine parameters are based on the common production engine. A floating liner device was chosen for a friction forces measurement. It was necessary to solve an attachment and sealing of the floating liner. Stress-strain analysis of the floating liner has been done. Next step was to re-design a production crankshaft also with a connected balancing devices for single-cylinder engine. Powertrain was seated in a completely new units. Finally the engine was completed and mounted on a stand.
Five-cylinder in-line diesel engine with viscous type damper
Procházka, Miloslav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is to design moving parts of the five cylinder inline diesel engine with given parameters, then to balance centrifugal forces and moments and design viscous torsional vibrations damper and calculate forced oscilations without the damper as well as with the damper. The designed parts are put to stress analyse by finite elements method. My design is based on similar construction of four cylinder engine Zetor.
Two-cylinder spark ignition engine for passenger vehicle
Richter, Tomáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is two-cylinder in-line four stroke petrol engine design based on input parameters. The work consists of different variations of designed crankshaft balancing and balancing unit. Calculation method of torsion vibration and crankshaft fatigue failure solution based on stress analysis are included.
Cranktrain of three-cylinder in-line disel engine
Kovář, Pavel ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes design and comparison of three variants of the crankshaft in-line diesel engine for commercial vehicles. The work focuses on working with programs for 3D modelling and analysis proposed models, to be able to work under difficult conditions. Part of this work is a computational modal and strength analysis.
Powertrain of unconvential V-6 diesel engine with viscous type damper
Hejda, Tomáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is design an unconventional powertrain V-6 engine with cylinder opening lines offset 90 degrees and 30 degrees of crank pin offset. It is an analysis of the balance of the crank mechanism, proposed unbalance, build a model of discrete torsion system, design of viscous torsional vibration damper, compares the results of the calculation of strength without crankshaft damper and with damper.
Powertrain of unconvential V-6 diesel engine with balancing shaft
Vaculík, Tomáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a powertrain of unconvential V-6 diesel engine with balancing shift with angel of cylinders’s axis 90 degrees and crank pin ofset of 30 degrees. The thesis provides an analysis of balance of inertial forces and their moments, layout of counterbalances on crankshaft and balancing shaft. It also provides a layout of discrete model of torsional cranksaft mechanism and layout of rubber damper of torsional oscillations.
Powertrain of unconvential V-6 diesel engine with rubber damper
Bečka, Petr ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design the crankshaft fork unconventional six-cylinder with offset pivots, the torque balance, modal analysis, vibration analysis of torsional and torsional vibration damper design, stress analysis using FEM.
Five-cylinder in-line diesel engine
Kujawa, Pawel ; Dundálek, Radim (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The primary objective of this thesis was to design a crankshaft according to given parameters. In this case the thesis also contains the balancing of inertia forces and its moments, modal analysis and calculation of torsion vibrations. The last chapter includes a calculation of the safety factor by using a Finite Element Method.
