The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge about stroke and then includes methods that are used in physiotherapy in patients after stroke. These methods consist of conventional and unconventional approaches in physiotherapy. The practical part includes the thesis aim, methodology and three case studies of patients after stroke. The therapy is focused on the use of the Homebalance system, Mirror therapy and the Armeo®Spring device. Each of the patients underwent one of therapies mentioned above. In the practical part the usability of these therapies is also evaluated.

The benefit of therapy with Gloreha glove at patients with central hemiparetic limb
Koscielniak, Martin ; Hoidekrová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Slámová, Adéla (referee)
Title: The benefits of therapy wiht Gloreha glove at patient with central hemiparetic limb Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the usage of Gloreha robotic system in the process of rehabilitation of patients who experienced stroke with hemiparesis of the upper limb. The work is both theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part is described the kinesiology of the upper limb, the problem of stroke and the usage of the robotic systems of Gloreha in the process of rehabilitation. The practical part is based on case studies of four patients with a diagnosis of stroke in the age between 18 to 59 years. Each proband underwent ten therapies over two weeks. The case reports include entry and departure kinesiological examinations. The aim of the work is to evaluate the therapeutic benefits of the Gloreha. To assess the effect was used the MAS spasticity rate, the Motor Index and the active range of motion. Three out of four patients noticed an improvement in their spasticity level according to MAS scale in at least one of the observed segments and also an improvement in the active range of motion in the metacarpofalnagial joints of the hand or an improvement in the active motility of the hemiparetic upper limb. In Motoricity index has been improved the strength of the upper limb in three out of four...

Using of alternative therapeutics techniques to vertebrovisceral links of liver and gall bladder diseases.
Trunečková, Tereza ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Title: Using of alternative therapeutic techniques to vertebrovisceral links of liver and gallbladder diseases Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out a sufficient amount of information on the subject of functional liver and gallbladder diseases, possibilities of conventional treatment and alternative treatment options. Another goal of this thesis is to compile an assessment protocol, based on the theoretical background, according to which it is possible to diagnose patients with functional liver and gallbladder diseases. An additional goal of this thesis is to create a treatment concept for patients with functional liver and gallbladder diseases. This treatment concept will be based on the knowledge of yoga and traditional Chinese medicine. Last goal is to compare conventional physiotherapy with the concept created. Methods: The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the issue of functional disease of liver and gallbladder. In takes into account the current research and data found in Czech and foreign literature. The practical part looks into the effects of complex therapy methods using experiments. The therapy itself includes changes of the patients' lifestyles, which are based on traditional Chinese medicine and yoga asanas, which were compiled for the purposes of this thesis for...
Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players.
Přibyl, Michal ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Thesis title: Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players The concept of the problem: Rugby is one of the toughest ball sports and there is no shortage of injuries. In addition, injuries in the shoulder area are among the most common and any possibility of reducing these injuries is beneficial. There is not much time left for compensation and targeted intervention; moreover, it is not usually led by physiotherapists but by fitness coaches and only in larger clubs. The consequence is a muscle imbalance in the shoulder girdle, which can result in the so-called scapular dyskinesis. This is turn affects the function and stability of the shoulder joint not only by the overhead athletes. It is possible to influence scapular dyskinesis in various ways. One of them is the inclusion of targeted training of lower scapular fixators into fitness training and thus their stability is improved. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to verify whether rugby players with painful shoulder have sufficiently scapular fixation based on kinesiological and biomechanical knowledge. Another aim of this thesis is to create such an exercise unit that would ensure the correct activity of the lower scapular fixators and verify this by measurement. The final...
Influence of stretching on performance of pupil in athletics
Nováková, Magdalena ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: The effect of stretching on performance of youth athletes in track and field Objectives: The difference of views on stretching as part of sports training is great, so this work aims to prove or disprove its effect on performance. The work should contribute to the awareness of domestic athletic trainers and the results will be applied practically. This work also aims to demonstrate whether the rate of shortened muscles affects the pupil's speed and endurance performance. The work is also interested in whether a strictly adhered stretching plan will reduce the amount of shortened muscles. Method: The thesis is conceived as an experimental study. The study was attended by 30 probands who were divided into two groups. To evaluate the results, a standardized test of shortened muscles according to Janda is used, as well as a run measured by hand-held stems for 2x40 and 600 meters. Result: There are great differences in the youth age between individuals with the almost same age and do the same sport. There are individuals who do not have shortened muscles, but those who have shortened almost every muscle group. The rate of shortened muscle does not affect pupil performance in athletics. Performance on the sprinter and endurance track was deteriorated or even improved, regardless of whether there...
