Air-conditioning of seat of the company
Kalas, Michal ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of air-conditioning for the company headquarters. The object is divided into two functional units and each of them is operated by a separate VZT unit. Ventilation provides fresh outdoor conditioned air and exhaustion of indoor air. The multi-split systém provides coverage of the heat load in the room in the summer. The theoretical part deals with refrigeration air conditioning systems.
Ventilation and heating in a retrofitted farmhouse
Čoček, Bedřich ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of thesis is to design the heating and ventilation system for reconstructed part of the farmhouse. Thesis contains calculation of the object heat output, from which the design of the heating system is based. This includes to choice of heat sources, heaters and others components of the system. Thesis also contains hydraulic regulation of heating system. Design of equal-pressure ventilation system includes calculation of required amount of air, choice of unit, air conduit draft and options of terminal components and their settings. In the framework of this thesis is also designed simple photovoltaic system for warming hot water. There was created relevant drawing documentation for design of systems.
CO2 measurement for smart home
Novák, Radim ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with carbon dioxide (CO2), its importance for human and its measurement. In theoretical part you will find information’s about its discovery, its use in industry, but also about its dangerous effects, levels of concentration in air, ways, how to measure this concentration and some sensors, that are available on the market. Practical part deals with developing of board for measuring concentration of CO2 and software solution.
Condensing boiler and solar collectors in a residential building
Bukovjan, Jiří ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the heating and hot water preparation in the residential house in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Object has four floors and basement. In each floor there are two residential units. In thebasement there is a utility room with heating, gas boiler cascade. Used to heat-pipe heatingsystem. Heating surfaces are plate and tubular body. The primary source of hot water is gasboiler. As a secondary source of alternative preparation with solar system.
Ground Heat Exchangers - Operating States and their Influence on Microbiological Hazards
Kolbábek, Antonín ; Klánová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the Air to Ground Heat Exchangers (AGHEx) and their effects on the hygienic quality of the supplied air and the microbial microclimate in the interior of buildings. The theoretical part focuses on current findings and knowledge in the field of warm air heating, ventilation of the low-energy and energy passive houses and ground heat exchanger for the ventilation systems to family houses. The next chapter deals with the quality of the indoor environment and the influence on HVAC systems on the building microclimate. The experimental part of the thesis presents the results of energy simulations of operation of air to ground heat exchanger, obtained using the simplified model, and the data from long-term monitoring of experimental AGHEx built at FME BUT. Furthermore, the results of microbiological research of several already operating air to ground heat exchangers are evaluated. The research was carried out using two different sampling methods: the method using swabs taken from the pipe wall, and the sedimentation (gravimetric) method. The conclusion part mentions the practical experiences of users and knowledge of the author relating to the design, operation and use of air to ground heat exchangers.
Air quality in buildings
Kops, Tomáš ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out by measuring the production of carbon dioxide that man produces in various types of physical activity. Using the model, the goal is to simulate real carbon dioxide production for a type object and to design a way of automatic regulation, air supply and drainage to obtain better indoor environment (represented by carbon dioxide).
Ventilation and air-conditioning in a mixed-use building with dental offices
Truksa, Ondřej ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the master’s thesis was to design ventilation and cooling systems in a three-storey mixed-use building, which contained three apartments and two dentists’ surgeries. Two independent ventilation systems were designed in the building, with respect to different purposes of the indoor spaces. The mechanical cooling system was proposed in some of the rooms to improve thermal comfort in summer. The thesis includes calculations of building heat gains, heat losses, air exchange rates and the dimensioning of the ventilation and cooling systems. The thesis also comprises design calculations and technical drawing.
Ventilation of family house with swiming pool
Frais, Denis ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on the air condition of the family house with the indoor swimming pool. In the thesis the ventilation and the dehumidification of the swimming pool hall, the ventilation of the family house and the cooling of living room with the kitchen is included.
Heating and Ventilation of Industrial Buildings
Ležovič, Tomáš ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Krejčí, Vladimír (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with ways of adaptation of interior surroundings in industrial buildings, first and foremost in respect of demands in operation and attainable comfort on workplace. As an introduction, author targets the concepts that bear relation to interior microclimate and characterization of industrial buildings, which should help to get better orientation in existent dilemma. Next part of the thesis contains a compendium of the basic heating and aerating systems in industrial buildings involving both their preferencies and deficiencies. In conclusion, there is accomplished the general evaluation of the aforesaid systems and the comparison of the radiant and the air heating method of heating.
