SIP client in Java
Zukal, Martin ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of a client-based application with the utilization of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The first part describes SIP with an emphasis on basic concepts. Then a brief description of the Java programming language which will be used for the implementation follows. The most extensive part is devoted to the description of a design and implementation of the application. Some techniques used during the development of the applicaton are being discussed in this part. The thesis is finished up with test scenarios verifying functionality of the application.
Application for displaying cartographic data in web environment
Duchovič, Adam ; Janovič, Filip (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing application for displaying cartographic data and its implementation to the web environment. The goal was to design an application which will be independent on platform. Introduction provides basic information about the Java programming language, next chapter introduces to the applied developing environment. Then the thesis deals with an option of dividing the solution on two possibilities and the concept of displaying cartographic data. Further is described design procedure of programming application with its implementation to the web environment. Modularity of this application was ensured during its realization. In the conclusion the process of developing application is resumed and both of the solutions are compared.
Bundle of programs for teaching signal and image processing
Riško, Miroslav ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of my diploma project is to create a program that will serve as a support for the teaching. Project is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I will discuss the theory necessary for development of this work. The practical part will describe functionality of created applets.

Teaching aids for 2D computer graphics
Malina, Jakub ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
In this master’s thesis we focus on the basic properties of computer curves and their practical applicability. We explain how the curve can be understood in general, what are polynomial curves and their composing possibilities. Then we focus on the description of Bezier curves, especially the Bezier cubic. We discuss in more detail some of fundamental algorithms that are used for modelling these curves on computers and then we will show their practical interpretation. Then we explain non uniform rational B-spline curves and De Boor algorithm. In the end we discuss topic rasterization of segment, thick line, circle and ellipse. The aim of master’s thesis is the creation of the set of interactive applets, simulating some of the methods and algorithm we discussed in theoretical part. This applets will help facilitate understanding and will make the teaching more effective.

Interactive teaching aids for 3D computer graphics
Balusek, Radim ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of interactive tools for 3D computer graphics. The introduction of the thesis focuses on general theory of curves and surfaces and its mathematical description. The topics of Geometric transformation, Perspective projection and Parametric description of 3-dimensional surface are analysed in more detail. The successive chapter deals with the subject of visualisation of spatial objects in Java platform interface. The practical part describes the implementation of individual applets. JAVA programming language, which uses the library functions JOGL, was employed for the very realization of the interactive tools. The goal of the diploma thesis is the creation of a set of interactive applets in the field of computer graphics. These applets will be placed on the website of the faculty and they will serve students of VUT in Brno to improve the quality of education.
Multiaplication smart cards
Meluzín, Ivo ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Sobotka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the first part of the thesis is to describe the options of wide usage of chip cards in different segments of our life. Consequently it is necessary to mention hardware and software equipment of smart card, its communication with terminal and data security. In this thesis we focus on Java Card environment in which we will try to create two applications, one for electronic purse and the second for user identification. Basically, we need to mention multiapplicational rules of sharing data and objects. At the end of the thesis we are focusing on the possibility of mutual interference between the applications and on protection against attacks. Also future applications of this technology are described.
Interactive Java applet used for 3D optic nerve head visualization
Šikl, Jaroslav ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Peter, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and implement the interactive Java applet used for topography 3D optic nerve head visualization. Primary purpose of the 3D vizualization is ophthalmology, especially for diagnosis of glaucoma. More over should serve as a training material, which enables to study the transformation of 2D figures to 3D model and to test the effects of adjustments and regulations to imaging of the model in 3D space. Two program versions were designed in this work using the development system NetBeans version 5.5. Their final realization is implemented as .html application working in web browser window. First version of the designed applet is simple intuitive application with several default settings, so that the figure is opened automatically to 3D model. Subsequently, the applet enables to set the size of the image, 3D depth of the image, smoothing of the surface and selection of monochrome or coloured image. The second version is the extension of the first version of the designed applet, and provides the possibility to display x, y, z axis, depiction of the 3D model surface by dots, curves or grid, and illumination of the surface. Software was tested on available topographic data acquired by HRT equipment and in different web browsers. Technical documentation and user’s manual are also involved in this thesis.
Implementation of modern hash functions
Trbušek, Pavel ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Stančík, Peter (advisor)
Master's thesis analyses modern hash functions. The requirements for these features and briefly outlined some of the types of attacks are given in the first part. The second part focuses on the specication Skein hash function, which is among the candidates for the new SHA-3 standard, and a description of the JCOP platform, which is a function implemented. In the last part of the work there are discussed implementation problematic parts and evaluation of the selected solution.
