Financial analysis of Colorlak, a.s.

This bachelor thesis is focused on complex assessment of development of Colorlak, a.s. from 2006 to 2010. The company is analyzed with help of absolute and relative indicators, with respect to the rules of golden rules of accounting and economic standards. The next analysis is based on bankruptcy and financial standing models and then comparison with relevant industry indicators. The comparison uses Spider analysis. This thesis also includes possible prediction of future for the company. Data for analysis is mined from company annual reports, internal documents and information portal of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Financial Analysis of Lafarge Cement, Inc.

This Bachelor's Thesis is entitled "Financial Analysis of Lafarge Cement, Inc." Its main objective is to evaluate the financial health of the company from the year 2005 to 2010. The most relevant parts of this thesis are methodical part and practical part. The methodical part briefly summarizes the importance of financial analysis. In addition, all methods used in practical part will be explained. The practical part contains a brief introduction of company and whole financial analysis. The end of practical part contains comparasion of company with industry and also a brief evaluation of business development in the year 2011. Calculations are based on company annual reports and procedures mentioned in methodical part. Very end of this thesis contains a summary of key conclusions of executed financial analysis.

Economic analysis of the company Výtahy, s.r.o.

This thesis economically analyses the company Výtahy, s.r.o. First there are some pages about the company itself, what it produces, few words about its history and crucial moments and the situation on the market. In the theoretical part the chosen methods of economic analysis are depicted. Practical part focuses on the company Výtahy, s.r.o. The horizontal and vertical analysis of the assets, liabilities and profit and loss account is shown. There is a calcuation of net working capital and its demand. The effectiveness of the company is measured also by a system of logical inequations. Important part is devoted to ratio indexes -- rates of profit, return on sales or assets, solidity of the firm, equity ratio or turnaround period of assets or inventories. The economic value added is counted by two methods -- with the model from Department of industry and trade and with the net operating profit after tax model. I applied several of financial health models to predict and analyse, if the company is doing good or bad. I compared the competing companies among themselves through the last five years based on four criteria. And I used three methods for the final order of the companies. The last comparison is done thru Spider analysis and it shows the economical situation of three Czech elevator companies in last two years.

Interfirm Comparison of Dairies in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with interfirm comparison of twelfe selected Czech dairies between 2005-2009. The firms are ranked by various multicriterial methods with financial analysis ratios used as criteria. Companies are divided into groups by using the classification method and selected dairies are also evaluated by the spider analysis. The differences between applied methods are evaluated, as well the strengths and weaknesses of individual dairies.

The new theory of business - a comprehensive analysis of the company

The aim of the Master's thesis is a comprehensive analysis of the company's financial health over a certain period. In the theoretical part of the work I describe the methods of analysis from basic ones to more complex assessment models. In the practical part, I apply the acquired knowledge directly to the construction company with using its accounting documents. The financial analysis consists of analysis of absolute, differential and proportional company's indexes, which are followed by comparison of the company and industry. Last part focuses on the credit-worthy and bankruptcy models of financial situation assessments as well as their final comparison. At the end, I summarizes the financial situation by using methods and propose measures to improve the future development.

Financial analysis of producer non-alcoholic drinks

This thesis in considered on financial analysis of nine most important companies which are interested in production of non-alcoholic drinks in Czech republic. Most of them are subsidiaries of global corporations. In thesis is processed spatial resolution of this field in years 2008 and 2009. First part deals with methodology of spatial resolution (Spider analysis). Next is about the field of non-alcoholic drinks. In analysis were compared years 2008 and 2009 and the values of indicators and their change during the time and also competitiveness of the companies in 2009. Conclusion is global table and comments to each company and their result in Spider analysis.

Inter-company Comparison of Furniture Businesses

The thesis deals with inter-company comparison of selected furniture businesses in the period of 2007-2009. It aims to define the range of companies using the methods of intercompany comparison, especially the simple method of ranking, scoring, standard variable and distance from a fictive object. Furthermore the companies are sorted into the groups by the use of the classification analysis and selected outputs graphically depicted using the spider analysis.

Furthermore, the position expressed by the company against competitors, and some reputable and bankruptcy models.

Financial analysis of automotive industry

Bachelor's thesis focused on financial analysis of automotive industry provides spatial resolution of development of financial indicators within the biggest sixteen multinational groups of automotive manufacturers for the years 2007 and 2008. The spatial resolution carried out at a pre-defined methodology of financial analysis (Spider analysis) using predefined financial indicators which characterize this type of industry. The other part of the spatial resolution of this type of industry is also assessing the impact of financial crisis in 2009 on the automotive industry including anti-crisis measures for its rescue, implemented mainly by European governments. Part of this work is to evaluate the development of individual companies for comparison between 2007 and 2008 and an analysis of the competitiveness of enterprises in 2008. The conclusion is drawn from the overall table, representing the best and worst car of all prosperous societies compared.
