Tato bakalářská práce nese název "Finanční analýza společnosti Lafarge Cement, a.s." Jejím hlavním cílem je zhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku v letech 2005 až 2010. Nejpodstatnějšími částmi práce jsou metodická část a praktická část. Metodická část v krátkosti shrne význam finanční analýzy. V metodické části však bude čtenář hlavně seznámen se všemi metodami, které byly následně uplatněny v části praktické. Praktická část obsahuje stručné představení společnosti a dále samotnou finanční analýzu. V závěru praktické části bude provedeno porovnání s odvětvím a také stručné zhodnocení vývoje podniku v roce 2011. Při výpočtech byly použity informace z výročních zpráv společnosti a postupy uvedené v metodické části. Úplný závěr této práce obsahuje shrnutí nejdůležitějších poznatků z provedené finanční analýzy. This Bachelor's Thesis is entitled "Financial Analysis of Lafarge Cement, Inc." Its main objective is to evaluate the financial health of the company from the year 2005 to 2010. The most relevant parts of this thesis are methodical part and practical part. The methodical part briefly summarizes the importance of financial analysis. In addition, all methods used in practical part will be explained. The practical part contains a brief introduction of company and whole financial analysis. The end of practical part contains comparasion of company with industry and also a brief evaluation of business development in the year 2011. Calculations are based on company annual reports and procedures mentioned in methodical part. Very end of this thesis contains a summary of key conclusions of executed financial analysis.
