Urban measures of effective surface water management in urban areas
Vacková, Michaela ; Kročová,, Šárka (referee) ; Polešáková, Marie (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
One of the main challenges in promoting rainwater management into practise is the fact that it was not recognized as an interdisciplinary issue. We should seek ways how to open the problem to other professions, specially for architects and urban planners, who are the key element of its farther development. This work analyzes the reasons of this unsatisfactory state of rainwater management in the Czech Republic and it defines the possible ways how to remedy this state and outlines scenarios of its further development. The default document of the work is czech technical standard "TNV 75 9010 Hospodaření se srážkovými vodami". The new methodological guide, which is part of this work, is based on it. The work extends the range of measures which are mentioned in the standard. It brings new ways for assessing the benefits of the various measures to streamline the application of rainwater management measures in urban space.
Soil crust and its role in erosion of post mining sites
Fiedlerová, Jana ; Frouz, Jan (advisor) ; Lukešová, Alena (referee)
9 2 Abstract The object of the study was the soil crust, found on spoil tips after coal mining near Sokolov. Certain type of crusts were compared; non-biological, physico-chemical origin and biological crusts that are made up of algae, mosses and lichens. Individual samples of the crusts underwent the laboratory analysis - Water Drop Penetration Time, Sequencing Electron Microscopy, water infiltration, and field studies, where the measurements were taken by using the erosion pins, the surface of the crusts was evaluated and photographed stereoscopically. The results indicate that the the physical-chemical type of crusts show significantly greater erosion, while the biological crusts are less susceptible to erosion, this phenomenon is probably related to the mechanical firming of the surface. Comparement of results from infiltration tests
Blahut, Dominik ; Mazáč, Petr (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to compare the results of water infiltration from field tests, from laboratories and from numerical modeling at two selected locations. The first objective is the search procedure and the description of both sites and its adjacent areas. Further work continues with infiltration field tests using ring infiltrometer, at first theoretically for each method, and then practically with own personal measurements in the field. Further from the collected soil samples the measurements are performed in the laboratory, first in the permeameter, and followed by the grain size distribution test, from which the hydraulic conductivity is derived by using empirical formulas. At last the numerical modeling is used and all the results are compared. In the final phase of thesis the recommendations are given for infiltration at various locations and comparsion of the infiltration methods.
Infiltration - the elementary hydrological process
Salač, Jan ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Kameníčková, Ivana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of water infiltration into the soil in the area of interest of the village Šakvice. Measurements were carried out on 13 May 2009 and 10 September 2009 on arable land with convential tillage (with ploughing). For measurements were used double ring infiltrometers. To evaluate the cumulative infiltration and infiltration rate were used equations of Kostjakov, Mezencev, Philip and three-parameter equation of Philip‘s type. The results were processed numerically, plotted and then compared.
Landscape retention capacity in the Czech Republic - history, present, influencing factors, difficulties and proposals for improvement
MACHO, Bohumil
This bachelor thesis is written as a form of literary research into the water retention abilities of landscape in the Czech Republic. A descriptive overview is given of the factors that influence the ability of landscape to retain water and the subsequent application of this knowledge to instigate increased retention levels. Comparisons are made for the individual factors and measures over time, with a view to predicting what may happen in the future. The final chapter looks in-depth at the phenomenom associated with the poor water retention capabilities of landscape as a result of incorrect interventions, in most cases anthropogenic, in the countryside. An evaluation of the broader issues regarding such interventions and the implementation of measures follows in the conclusion.
Organization protection against malware design
Vykydal, Tomáš ; Vykydal, Miloslav (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The object of this bachelor work is to design a solution for places, where any imperfection were found.in an analysis of the current state of malware protection in a monitored company. solutions are designed for individual places, where any Result of this work is a design, which significantly increases the level of protection against malware and a description of the current situation in the problematics of malware and protection against it.
Rainwater-treatment and rainwater utilization
Štefek, Miroslav ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is developing searches which are focused to treatment with rainwater and it's next utilization. We can find general information about situation in Czech Republic in this work and we can also read about products for rainwater treatment which are available in the market. There is a calculation for house too where we can see if it is advantageous step if we'll purchase rainwater treatment products.
The study sewerage city Rokytnice nad Rokytnou
Došek, Jan ; Ručka, Jan (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with factual building, which is a sewerage in the town of Rokytnice nad Rokytnou. The aim of this work is to propose measures to reduce inflow of redundant water to the local wastewater treatment plant. A method chosen to achieve it is an assesment the most problematic location and making a plan. This work includes among other outputs from the primary exploration and a condition survey, hydrological analysis and designing of two measures. These designs are complemented by the calculation of investment costs and their comparison. Appendix to this work contains drawings and the sheets from condition survey.
The options of using rain waters in the villages
Šímová, Jana
Water is a vital raw material, which is in addition to the human nature whole dependent. Recently, however, the water runs low very fast. On the contrary, increase the standards of living and comfortable life. The decrease of water cannot be avoided compl
Infiltration device proposal for individual objects in the cadastral area Horní Jelení
Kališ, Vladislav ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
In this work I have tried to design and assess the possibility of infiltration of rainwater for separate buildings. I also performed field tests to determine infiltration ratios. In chapters I described method of design and assess the feasibility of the proposal. The resulting proposals have examined in terms of return on investment.
