Optimization of wall thickness for headlamp body
Prokeš, Radim ; Tomaj, Martin (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This project is concerned with the issue of the thickness optimalization of the wall thickness of the plascics headlamp housing by the simulation Moldflow analyse. There are mentioned the basic information about the plastic materials and their dividing over there. Furthermore the description of the injection process, the injection machines and the tools is included. The principles of the proposal and the construction of the plastics part is also mentioned here. In the application of the Moldflow Plastics Insight 6.0 there is provided the simulation of the melt moldflow for the proposed headlamp housing. Based on this analyse the proposal of the thickness reduction of the wall thickness of the headlamp housing is worked out with the aspect on the required qualities. It also contains the technoeconomic estimation of the benefit optimalization.
Modern Systems of Vehicle Lighting
Špaček, Ladislav ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
A vehicle lighting is a basic component of active safeness, which, as an integral part of any vehicle, contributes to road traffic safety increase. From the very beginning, the car electrotechnincs has been engaged in the car lighting and visibility improvment for worse driving conditions, e.g. fog, rain, night ride etc. Thanks to new car lighting systems, such as adaptive headlights, LED based light sources and night vision systems, road traffic became much safer than ever before.
Vehicle Lighting
Ficza, Tibor ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)

Control of Pixel Front Lighting
Kostelník, Pavel ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis presents new tendency in automotive lighting – matrix LED headlamp. This thesis consists of description of matrix headlamp construction, main functions of matrix headlamp and controlling by using new integrated circuit, developed by ON Semiconductor Company. The aim of this project is concept of algorithm, which provides correct function of integrated circuit. A part of this thesis is to develop and assembly evaluation kit with this integrated circuit, which will be use to present integrated circuit for customers.
Design of the car headlight
Struhár, Slavomír ; Bukvald, Jiří (referee) ; Buganská, Tamara (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is design of headlamp for a further unspecified automobile. The first part of the thesis is formed by Overview of current knowledge dedicated to the history, the present and the near future of headlamps of series-production cars. The following sections describe the objectives of the thesis, the process of the design itself and present the final design of the headlamp. The final part evaluates the results of the work with respect to the stated objectives.

Lighting systems of vehicle
Žlebek, Michal ; Guzej, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to explore the development of headlamps and focus on the problem of cooling. The first part is devoted to automotive lighting and to headlamps generally. It deals with history, manufactures, functions and basic construction of headlamps. The next section describes the types of headlamp and the procedure for its construction depending on used light source. In semifinal part can be found explanation of heat origin in LED and with the help of heat transfer is described its spreading. At the end is this work dealing with problems of cooling when using LEDs. It shows view of cooler and explaining how important is to use simulations during heat spreading counting.
Modern Trends in Vehicle Front Lights Design
Rada, Jakub ; Maršálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Raffai, Peter (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the modern trends in the design of the headlamps. The first part presents the sequential stages of development of systems used for headlamps and their design solutions. The second part focuses on the possible cooling alternatives of functional parts in lighting modules, completed with the results of comparative laboratory tests performed by front manufacturers of automotive lighting. The final section contains a comparison of the currently most widely used technologies in the vehicle front lighting.
Proposal of the Plastic Overload Clutch
Ujčík, Martin ; Mrázek, Dušan (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the proposal of the geometrical change on the sliding holder which is ensuring adjusting of the headlamp in to the correct position. It means a change of geometrical concept. Proposed geometry overtakes the security function of the overload clutch witch ensured in current solution additional part. Proposal was created in CAD System Catia. Function of the solution was tested with finite element method in SimDesigner program and with the evaluation of measuring of prototype part.
A New Design for Sealing Headlamp Adjusting Screws
Lysa, Bohuslav ; Mrázek, Dušan (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis covers several issues connected with the sealing of headlamp adjusting screw. The thesis includes analysis of the O-ring fastening and analysis of the fixation adjusting screw in functional position. On the basis of the analyses a new design of O-ring fastening, a new design of the adjusting screw fixation are proposed. Finite Elements Method in SimDesigner software using 3D modeling capabilities provided by Catia V5 were used for calculations and simulations in selected parts of the analysis. The feasibility study regarding adjustments of the existing casting form of the adjusting screw is included in the thesis.
