Virtual twin and predictive maintenance
Kotrba, Martin ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a virtual twin of cross table MCV 754 QUICK from the Czech manufacturer Kovosvit MAS. The research part describes the basic principles of predictive maintenance methodology and virtual twin technology. The practical part includes a simplification of the initial cross table model. This model was then transferred to the simulation software MSC Adams, where it was optimized so that its behavior corresponds as closely as possible to the physical device. Several simulations were subsequently performed on the model. Then a concept for a predictive method for calculating the remaining service life of individual sections of the ball screw was presented. Simulations performed on a virtual twin served as a source of data to test the proposed method.
Positioning of the tilting head of a milling multi-purpose machining center with a horizontal spindle axis
Grepl, Martin ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the positioning of the tilting head of the multifunctional milling centre in three axis. The aim of the thesis is to design a multifunctional milling machine centre with a horizontal axis of the spindle in cooperation with Bc. Ľubomír Vazovan, Bc. Ján Rapčan a Bc. Tomáš Hynšt, who are working on the issues of the headstock, automatic tool change and palletization. The thesis also contains proposals of certain options and their subsequent evaluation by the multicriterial method PATTERN. The resulting construction is complemented by calculations of the main construction nodes.
Analysis of cutting tool wear while turning construction steel
Kudela, Jan ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is wear analysis of cutting inserts used for machining 42CrMo4 steel. Theoretical part of the thesis contains comparison of turning and milling machining processes, machining methods for ball screws made of 42CrMo4 and description of experimental methods of tool wear analysis. Experimental part of thesis contains methodology of cutting inserts wear measurement for chosen machining method. The following testing is focused on cutting insert wear as well as workpiece surface analysis. Thesis is finished with processing of measured data and overall evaluation of achieved results.
Design of a cross table for a machine tool
Bouchal, Tomáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This choice topic: Design of milling machine cross table belongs at branch machine tool. Cross table is mechanical table, which moved in two axis. Cross table is used exclusively of milling machines. Next use of drilling machines, CNC machines, grinding machines. Bachelor works is divided into a search part in which contains summary cross table on the market. Practical part bachelor works in which contains computational part and designer part. Computational part cross table our help to acquire basic pamaterers for designer parts. Designers part cross table designers to help 3D modelling program Solidworks.
Energetic model of linear axis with ball screw and servodrive
Sládek, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to study the Energy Models of Linear Axes with Ball Screws and Servo Drives, to analyze the individual parts of the axis with respect to losses, the methodology of calculating the losses on the electrical part and the mechanical part of the drive and creating a complex algorithm that calculates the energy consumed for the specified motion. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part is divided into the treatise on the electrical part of the axis and its losses and the part that deals with the mechanical part and its losses. The calculation is divided into the basic verification algorithm and the calculation on the given example. Each calculation is calculated for both linear acceleration and S-curve acceleration. For both types of acceleration, the result of energy and its course over time is also the waveforms of position, velocity, acceleration, angular acceleration, moments, powers, power, speed and currents over time.
Use of innovative materials in the construction of CNC machining centers for non-rotational components
Flieger, Vít ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis sloves usage of the innovative materials in the construction of CNC machining centers for non-rotational components. There are described innovative materials, machines and parts of these machines at first. Further, there is assigned a suitable material for each part of the machine. For the design part of this thesis is chosen a fixed rack made of polymer concrete for vertical machining center. Finally, the rack and its motion system are designed.
The drive of the feed coordinate portal machining center using a rack and pinion
Bartoš, Michal ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design the drive of the feed coordinate portal machining center using a gear rack and pinion. The thesis contains researches from the area of CNC machining centers for non-rotating parts and sliding linear systems. Market analysis of portal machining centers of type of lower gantry with a gear rack and pinion was done. Furthermore, several design variants are proposed in terms of positioning the drive on the machine. These variants were further compared and the best option was selected for the specified machine. Subsequently, the technical calculation of the drive is performed and individual parameters and structural elements are proposed. The thesis also includes a 3D model of the proposed variant and the required drawing documentation.
The drive of the feed coordinate portal machining center through ball screw
Dvořák, David ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis is focused on portal milling machine driven by ball screw and nut. There is a limit where it is suitable to use a driven screw or driven nut. Both variants are solved based on specified X-axis travel distance. In last part is solved the design of support long shaft ball screw driven by nut. The work also includes 3D CAD model of both variants and drawing documentation.
Design of a headstock for a machine tool
Sehon, Tomáš ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design of a headstock for a machine tool. Theoretic part of this thesis provides basic description of a horizontal machine tool. Further it is dedicated to description of a headstock of machines with extensionable work spindle. In a design part firstly optimal variant is chosen by using multicriterial analysis. Necessary calculations were done and chosen variant was developed. Design is realised by 3D CAD model and drawing documentantion.
