Damage Mechanics of Model of Dental Bridge Reinforced with Fiber Reinforced Composite
Štolfová, Kristýna ; Trautmann, Radoslav (referee) ; Poláček, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is aimed at variations of mechanism of construction dental bridge deformation, depending on the shape of dental bridges construstion and its gripping, type of materials and space layout of FRC. Dental bridge model created a sample of T-shape for mechanic tests. These models were tested by modified free-point flexure in special jaws. Tne commercial fibre composite was used as a reinforcer of bridge in the form of strap which consists of preimpregnated unidirected shaped fiberglases.
New Aluminium Alloys in Aircraft Structures
Przeczek, Jan ; Šplíchal, Jan (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with newly developed wrought aluminium alloys, designed for application in aerospace industry. The task of that work is to compare recent aircraft aluminium alloys with conventional alloys and indicate direction of progress in this field. The comparison is particularly focused on improvement of mechanical and/or technological properties of these alloys.
Unbound granular layers
Simkovič, Lukáš ; Stehlík, Dušan (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis providers collation of two fraction of soil. Work assess mechanical properties and economical value.
Diagnostic methods for the evaluation of the state of timber structures
Štěpánek, Jakub ; Stehlík, Michal (referee) ; Heřmánková, Věra (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with diagnostic methods and methodics of research of timber constructions. Theoretical part is focusing on timber as material for constructions, it's defects, physical and mechanical properties, overview of diagnostic methods and their appropriateness of use. In practical part I am describing performed diagnosis of element of timber construction with focusing on comparing transfer speed of the ultrasonic waves to selected mechanical and physical properties.
The influence of heavy metal oxides on the properties of cement pastes
Kašpárková, Kateřina ; Rovnaníková, Pavla (referee) ; Vyšvařil, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on study of the effect of increased content of heavy metals in cement production on the properties of this cement and the effect of addition of heavy metal oxides in cement pastes production. The thesis also deals with structural changes in particular components of cement in the presence of heavy metals. The effect of addition of heavy metal oxides on the properties of cement pastes is demonstrated in the experimental part by determining their mechanical properties, pore structure, and observation of the progress of hydration.
Founding in region of Velké Bílovice
Moravčík, Martin ; Masopust, Jan (referee) ; Brdečková, Helena (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis got two parts. In teoretical part I examene geology and geomorfology of region Velké Bílovice. Half of practical part analyse laboratory samples that are taken from Velké Bílovice. I tested samples for physical and index properties and mechanical properties. Second half of practical part is design and assessment of gravity wall by EC 1997. Earth pressures are calculated by ČSN 73 0037. Geological conditions for gravity wall are calcareous clays from examined properties and loess by [5]. Assessment was controled with computer program GEO5.
Titanium oxide and its properties in building materials
Rypák, Peter ; Vyšvařil, Martin (referee) ; Rovnaník, Pavel (advisor)
Theoretical part of thesis deals with conclusion of aquired informations about photocatalysis of titanium dioxide, its influence on properties of chosen building materials and its practic use in research of building materials with abitlity to decompose organic and anorganic matters. Experimental part deals with influence of quantity of titanium dioxide on mechanical strength of tested samples based on alkali activated slag and its ability to decompose organic colorant Rhodamine B
Artificial stone - methods of preparation and properties
Pluskalová, Barbora ; Bayer, Patrik (referee) ; Rovnaník, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis „Artificial stone – Methods of preparation and it´s properties“ deals with the various methods and issues concerning the preparation of artificial stone. The thesis presents the summary of materials and various methods suitable for the preparation and points out mechanical properties, including durability of material, which serves as an alternative to natural stone. Further on, the thesis deals with the studies of binding systems based on geopolymers, which are used for the artificial stone preparation. This part of the thesis is associated with the experimental part, which is aimed at choosing the suitable mixing ratio of binder to aggregate in the artificial stone based on metakaolin geopolymer. According to the results of mechanical tests and aesthetic impression the author chose the best composition and then created a decorative element.
Změna vlastností nerezových ocelí v agresivním prostředí
Dobrovolný, Pavel
The bachelor thesis on the topic: Changing the properties of stainless steels in aggressive environments examines the influence of heat exposure and aggressive environment on mechanical properties of stainless steels. The theoretical part describes the principle of corrosion, possibility of spreading corrosion, selected corrosive environments, types of corrosion and the factors that affect the intergranular corrosion of stainless steels. The practical part deals with verification experiment that consists in finding the influence of corrosion degradation on mechanical properties of stainless steels. Etalons and corrosion exposed samples from various grades of stainless steels were subjected to tensile test. The evaluation experiment was done by comparing the measured values of tensile test. Practical measurements complement metallographic images.
Technologické metody svařování hliníku a jeho slitin
Pavlík, Zdeněk
The diploma thesis deals with the technology of welding aluminum alloy AW 5754 by a method of arc welding TIG and with covered electrode. Introduction contains information about aluminum alloys and their labeling according to ČSN EN 573-1,2. Additional attention is focused on evaluation of the weld quality according to ISO 10042 and subsequent evaluation of the defects according to ISO 65 20 to 1. In the experimental section was welded samples tested at first by non-destructive methods (visual, capillary, X-ray testing) and followed by a destructive measurement of the weld (evaluation of micro-hardness, macroscopic and microscopic tests, tearing issues). Furthermore, part of weldments was subjected to a laboratory corrosion test in an aggressive environment of a salt chamber and then evaluating of mechanical properties of welds in both methods.
