Heating of an apartment building using renewable energy sources
Heat sources for an apartment building
Jurčík, Peter ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of a heat source for heating and DHW in an apartment building. The theoretical part contains a brief division of heat sources for an apartment building and introduction of the components of the solar system. Significant part si devoted to the T*sol software, which was used as a simulation tool for calculation of the solar system parameters. Finally, an article that addresses similar design of the solar system was analyzed. The calculation part deals with the design of the heating system. It consists of the calculation of heat losses, the design of heating elements, heat source and other components. DHW calculation is solved in two variants – var. 1 with gas condensing boiler and var. 2 with gas condensing boiler and solar system. The last part of the master thesis is dedicated to the design of a solar system for DHW using the simulation of several variants followed by selection of the optimal solution.
Analysis of Energy Consumption During the Construction of Apartement Buildings
Lukášková, Jana
The current legislation focuses on minimizing the amount of energy consumed during the use of the building, but the energy spent on the construction of the building is not addressed. Compared to the entire life cycle of a building, this energy makes up a small share, but even at this stage of construction, savings can be found. Given the current rapid rise in energy prices, any energy savings are noticeable. The subject of the article is the issue of the negative impact of non-compliance with the schedule of work progress or its sub-optimal proposal to increase the amount of energy expended during construction. The aim of the research is to quantify the consumption of individual types of energy input during construction and to determine the specific consumption for the purposes of subsequent comparison and evaluation. An analysis of energy expenditures, determination of critical activities requiring a significant amount of energy and a comparison of five cases of apartment building construction are performed.
Modern Application for Household Heating
Šoupal, Filip ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the research of basic sources, methods, and possibilities of heating modern family houses. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first one is focused on the advantages and disadvantages of individual heating sources in the use of renewable and non-renewable energy sources. The next section thoroughly describes and compares the methods of heating considering current emission standards. At the end, there is a technical and economic comparison of the variant of the current gas boiler with the variant of the automatic coal boiler and the modern heat pump. The comparison in interpreted on a model house through performed calculations. For better accuracy, the thesis is enhanced with pictures and tables.
Heating options of a house
Vaculík, Štěpán ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of possibilities in heating a family house. The work is divided into a theoretical part, where various types of heat sources for family houses are presented, including their division and a description of the principle of operation. In the second practical part, the heat loss of the selected house is determined. With their use are designed ideal heat sources and comparison is included.
Technology solution for energy savings in industrial processes
Cyž, Antonín ; Miklas, Václav (referee) ; Konečná, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is a search of known technological solutions for energy saving in industrial processes. The first part contains a description of the methodology for the analysis of energy consumption in the company. The first part also solves some of the statutory obligations of an energetic area in companies. Then follows a description and possible use of individual technological devices. The theoretical part of the work evaluates and describes the possibilities to increase the energy efficiency of an industrial laundry. Finally, the economic – energy balance of a specific operation is analyzed, including the evaluation of the financial return on investment.
Airconditioning of a pair of operating theaters and their background
Salajka, Radek ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this Bachelor thesis is a design of HVAC system that provides ventilation and air conditioning of pair of operation rooms and their utilities. Air conditioning units meet all hygienic, operational and functional requirements for the indoor microclimate. The computational part is designed on implementation project level. The theoretical part deals with clean rooms and their implementation.
Heating of the building for education
Zetocha, Adam ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with design of heating system in the building for education. Theoretical part is about fundamental properties and types of heating pumps. The calculation part solves entire design of the heating system and their partial parts. As a heat source is designed air to water heat pump. Heating is implemented by plane radiators. Engineering report describes whole technical solution of heating system and design requirements.
Heating of the shop
Straka, Štěpán ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of the hot water rating system and the preparation of the hot water in the commercial´s building for selling of the floor covering. The theoretical part is about the underfloor heating system. The calculation part deals with the design of the heating system by the plate radiators and by the underfloor heating, design of the hot water preparation, forced ventilation, necessary technical equipments and the desing of the door screen at the storage space. Two hanging gas condensing boilers connected with the cascade connecting will be the source of the heating energy. The preparation of the hot water will be provided by the indirect heating in the hot water cylinder. The forced ventilation will be provided by the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system with the water heater and the heat recovery.
